Ah, this is true. Painkillers do stop working after awhile, but you'd have to take an awful lot of them!! How many do you take at once? O_O I usually take 3 ibuprofen or 2 excederin and they still work great for me. XP

I wish I would have had my tonsils removed when I was a kid, but now I'm an adult and I hear it's really awful when you're older. And I'd rather not miss multiple weeks of work b/c I can't really afford to... :? So now I just suffer. I had tonsillitis five times last year. :? I hadn't been sick since July, so I thought I was in the clear. Oh... no. Sadly not. :( It was pretty mild this time around, so I'm hoping my body is learning to fight it off.
