Customer Service, love, is hellish for me. Though you might enjoy it. We have to mollify all customers, and play accountant for the whole store. Would that it were one or the other!
Ah, the joys of being Jewish and knowing that Hanukkah's not supposed to have presents. Plus, my birthday is fast approaching.
Anyway, call me what you will. I'll answer to Hey, You! if that is what my lady desires.

Heiyuu - I used to work at a call center for a car rental company. Not only did I make reservations, quote prices, answer questions, listen to complaints, we also had to do Roadside Assistance (i.e., accidents, running out of gas, dead battery, etc.)
If I can handle doing that, it's not hard to handle an irate customer.
Don't get me wrong though, I still get upset whenever I have to deal with an ignorant person (especially the ones that refused to be mollified). I do my best to calm them down, however.
Since Hey You is too dismissive of your personality, I shall continue calling you Heiyuu, or Yuu if my lord doesn't mind.

My personal pet peeve is when they tell me that the entire store is a shithole. We force no one to shop there, so they may feel free to leave, right?
But it's my first job, I've years to get more grumpy.
Yuu...sounds nice. And may I call you Lauryn?

Yuu - Yes, I understand completely. My problem customers mainly consisted of people who didn't read their contracts, and just assumed things were one way when they were in fact, another.
For example, customers would get upset when they couldn't return their vehicles Saturday evenings or on Sundays. There is the store schedule printed on their contract. It's right there. All they had to do was read or inquire.
Some locations had after hours drop offs, but not all locations wanted to take that risk. So I got bitched at because the customer didn't want to be charged for the extra time when they didn't need the car anymore. After that, their only option was an airport office. [shrugs] I got used to it though. Repeating the same information over and over.
Though I will say it is MUCH easier dealing with an irate customer over the phone than it is face to face. o.O;;
Of course you may call me Lauryn. :)

Hello all.
Sorry about coming and going.
Vampire business. xD
So has anyone read Vampire Knight? It's such a good manga! And it's soon going to be an anime! I can't wait. I hope they hurry up.
You can call me Rando or Asa. Asa is my real name, and means Morning in Japanese. How cool. 8D
And if you want to say "Is it morning?" then you say Asa ka?
That's uber cool!
Except I'm a vampire, and I hat mornings.....(literally)

Asa, well that is an odd name for a vampire. Myself, I'm not quite a vampire-vampire. I'm more of a blood-sucking cursed human. You know, no powers, no weaknesses.

I guess I would be considered, to use the phrase from Blade, a day-walker. I can walk out during the day, though I get incredible headaches and I really just feel sluggish. So I prefer to sleep during the day and come out at night.
The name I tell people, who I don't want to know the real me, is Jade. But those here may still call me Lauryn.

I call my kind "mosquitoes"; the real bats would still have us for dinner in a minute.
Anyway, it has been a while, no?

Yeah, but animal blood isn't half so potent. Ah, well.

I was surprised to see that Yumeh had wandered this way. Feline and canine friends are safe from me as I only drink human blood. I can sustain life with animal blood, but when I don't have to....why bother when human blood tastes better?
Unfortunately, I'm not one of the vampires that are impervious to cold. It is freezing here and I cannot wait for it to warm up.

Why, Lauryn? Because if too many humans show up in one area with puncture wounds, folks get suspicious. Worse for corpses with neck bites.
And I'm cold too, though we didn't get a proper white Christmas.
