duplex is actually off campus and as for getting together, sounds great. What are you coming over here for? What band concert? we have so many. Japanese people sounds awesome, I hope that goes well with helping the teacher move in, and meeting new friends. Best of luck at school.
Yes, achie homework is just that, hectic as archie homework always is.

The concert is for the French artist Yelle. Of course, I have no idea where in Chicago it actually is, so if we do make it up there, it'll be a complete adventure!
Moving her in was surprisingly easy. She's really nice and I'm excited for my class.
As I was saying earlier, I'm pretty darn busy right now. Of course today we basically played games in my two classes. In teaching strategies we played a sort of blind basketball game and is soc we threw stuffed animals and balls around at each other. One of those name games. Seriously though, I'm totally stoked for my classes. Of course, right now I'm actually getting sleep, so we'll see how classes are in a few weeks when I have to be writing papers, etc.
Have any new projects going on up there?

yeah, my game store is going out of business, so it means yeah getting $200 in merchandise for 40 but other than that, build my own house? it is pretty easy or something of the sort cause I get to do what ever i want. but everything from my senior year, like the dimensions of things is getting to me.

ah. That'll be a fun project though. I talked to Josh, from the JEP program, today. At least he actually intends to have conversations with me. He's definitely the nicest out of the whole group.
And aparently Renee, etc are shocked that I'm actually a girl, as in I'm apparently "boy-crazy." ?????? Whatever. Denise isn't with her mom anymore, instead, she and Mark are living at Mark's parents! Charming, no? I reminded her that she has a grandmother, and no one on the thread has bothered to reply since that.......
Yep. My drama life is still stuck in CO. Thank God!

*bounces into the thread* Hello~ ^^
And huzzah for no drama lives. I think all the drama I'm gonna have for this year is finishing my homework, and that's good enough for me, thank you. Yes, I'm probably going to give up most of a social life just because it's easier that way.
...I feel like I should I actually be doing physics homework, but I don't really want to. I was good and did psych yesterday! *shuns the homework* xD

Homework? Homework? What's homework? I have a lot of reading to do this weekend, I gurantee it.
Well, I guess that's what I get for being able to play basketball in ed class???? Not exactly sure how that pertained to teaching strategies, but, hey.
Oh! And guess what I'm reading now! Twilight! I'm almost done, too, but I must put off reading delictably good book until homework and classes are finished for hte day. I must, I must......

Same here, that's why I'm reading it now. Especially since the movie comes out over Thanksgiving. Do you know yet if you're going to go home for Thanksgiving?
And I did have homework. I was using the literary effect of sarcasm which is rather hard to protray in writing. Unless it's kind of obvious.
Mostly, I have a lot of meetings and other things to do right now. Like Monday is a floor meeting and the first day of Belly Dancing!!! Then, Tuesday I have a meeting with Study Abroad and I have to turn in my application form for Work Study. Just so many housekeeping issues that need to be taken care of. But don't worry, once school is off and running, I'm going to be pretty swamped with homework, mostly reading, though. Which is why I think being an archie is an advantage--not as much stupid reading and writing.
Oh, and on top of this, I'm coming down with a cold. T.T

yes, I do like archie for this not having to read or write thing...but that is me, also less textbooks. Cold makes sense, Mark had a cold, and managed to not give it to me. Psyrien is fan girling over J-dramas.
We have renn fair this week, but otherwise are getting pushed a nose int othe ground with work already.

Poor Dragon! I just hope my cold goes away soon. I plan on sleeping this weekend instead of going to any of the parties (besides Dante's Inferno is a bit of a sketchy party. They turn the heat up and stuff. Not my idea of fun, especially when I already have a bit of a fever).
Glad you didn't catch Mark's cold!

we finally got stuff straightened out in the relationship, and both dealt with the problem. His day was better later, but I must admit, we are taking relationship for granted or at least too seriously with how we wanted it. renn fair was awesome, though very very similar to the one at Colorado. I got a corset though :)
Basically renn fair was fun, but alot went around around it, so it's fun part died.
Also need to thank psyrien for dealing with mopey me, I was a complete wreck for a bit.
How is your mom doing?

Mom's doing fine, although she basically has no money right now, and I pretty much mean that literally. She'll probably start work next week, so things will start looking better soon, I hope.
I went to the financial aid place to see if I could get a work study, so we'll see.
And my cold is now at the annoying half-way runny nose stage. I took some decongestant, hopefully that will help some.
Hope everthing goes well with your break. I have more free time than you, so if you ever want to call and chat, do so.

I hope you get work study, as for me, I am doing what I can till my boyfriend figures out what he wants to do. as tough as it is, we need the distance right now, so it is a bit awkward cause I can't really decide on anything to do to keep the relationship either moving or not moving, and it is problemantic right now. Though this does give me a better idea of weather or not it is just my cycle, or weather it is me, that is why I break up in august/September always. it feels weird, but I am understanding more and more of it so it is probably in the end a good thing.

Nice, I am just about done with being happy about this year, I am glad with one class, and sadly studio is at least interesting, in comparison to the rest.
Also I am thirsty, but yum, I get breakfest by my boyfriend, I feel liek a moocher at times, but gahh. well this is probably due to the fact half the time I don't actually eat all that often, even though I should, and I have about 2 hours before I have to leave his place.
It is fine, Psyrien helped alout, and I got a better less confusing version when I attempted to explain to Mark.
other than that, inflation on mene is getting insane, I so far have bought some CIs and can actually ride inflation over the day to the point of where I am earning some gold each time, like 100 or so... I hope I can ride more later...
Also I have to teach Psyrien physics...... well done with class.

You know, it amuses me to no end that you're on Mene suring class!
I just finished with a meeting for study abroad stuff. My God is it complicated! And there's SOO much paperwork!!!! Gah!
Also, I might be going off to Tridad this summer for an education class. That is, if I can convince mom and dad (well, mostly mom since Dad will be in Eastern Europe by May). The program is three weeks long and it sounds just so incredible! I REALLY want to do it!!!! Hopefully, I can find the means to do so.
I'm glad things are working out for you! I just wish there was a guy I was actually hanging out with in that manner! I know, it'll happen eventually, but sometimes I can be quite an impatient person.
Physics.....I'm so glad i don't have to take that class.....I'd just about kill myself.

if I am on mene while in class it is because class is lecture boring version. As for intereacting iwht my boyfriend, it is nice, but he does point out i am not a romantic type of person at all, and it causes issues not with him and I, but because I don't wnat to do the couple thing alot, it gets a bit odd if it wsn't for he feels the same way.
The bigger issue we run into is that our relationship is similar to marriage, in that we nest stuff at the other person's place, talk about things, sometimes do thigns together, sometimes jsut be in same room but doing different activities, share some meals, and that is it, not the cute times that you normally see, as such though, we don' treat it liek marrage (good thing), but it sometimes just gets confusing

Alysa! I need computer help! I reccently installed an update for stupid Vista, and now by the speaker icon there's a red circle with an "x" and when I hover over it, it informs me that "no audio output device is installed." I don't know what to do!!!!!!!

I looked at stuff online, and found out it has something to do with one of the latest updates, so i just reset my computer to before that update and the sound's back. It's just kind of frustrating because now I can't let my computer update itself. Stupid vista.
I'm changing around my study abroad stuff again. I'll be going to England this spring, France in the fall, and the spring of my senior year I'm going to Japan, as opposed to next spring. It would've been too much at once, I think. Taxing on me and the collective wallet of my family.

ok, that makes some sense, I would love to travel, but yeah the expense kills alot of it, maybe I will over third year or so, but we will see. But yeah, I jsut spent over 24 hours offlien due to homework, I never really had much sleep, and thankfully with mark. Julie just went to bed, she is pulling almost 36 hours. silly her.

lol. I just had the worst omlette I've ever eaten. They put too much oil in the pan and didn't have heat high enough. It was disgusting. Not even the doughnuts tasted good today. And the hashbrowns were too salty. So, not a good breakfast at all. A complete waste of a meal.
:squee:! I  Bump of Chicken!!!!!
Their sound is just so unique! I loves it!!!
I met several more Japanese students last night. Yumi, Nao, and Anri. I also met a new Chinese student, Shuang.
Oh, and I love Korean candy.... peanut butter......
Where's psyrien???
