FMA is definatly over hyped too, and I need to post before psyrien does seeing how we are both watching blood ties now. grr on her showing it to me. I was planning to build a table today too. too late now. shop closes at 10...

lol. Hey, I should be studying right now. My exam is at 2:00! Which is in about 4 hours. And inbetween now and then, I have a class and lunch. So really, I only have about two hours to study, but we all know that studying right before a test isn't good, so I really only have an hour to study, and that would be right now. Not going to happen. I can't concentrate on British history currently.

Anyway, five week until I'm in Chicago!!! Which means four weeks until finals. Ugggg.... I have now reached the point in the semester when I just want it to all be over. If I could fast forward in time and come out with an A in everything, I totally would.

As for FMA, as Dragon knows, I didn't really like it all that much. Hence why I didn't go to Anime Club very often when they were playing that. It's just too depressing for me. I don't like coming out of watching an episode of something feeling like the world is going to fall apart. Yuck.

Just got the stepkids for the weekend so I'm going to be busy for the next couple days between spending time with them and work, but I might pop in to say hello if I get a chance.

Stepdaughter wasn't on to play webkinz though, so I need to let her on!! :P

and apparently even my attempt to get all the wood for my game table idea failed as well. And no phone, and no set up washer and dryer, and no keys for the back, and a needless call to Mark....feels very pointless day now.

My day has been fairly pointless too. I've worked on my block-print off and on, but lineoleum is annoyingly hard and it takes forever to get deep enough groves; especially since we don't have good tools for the project here at Harlaxton; I'm using an exacto knife. Other than that, I read and fiddled with the internet. Basically, nothing productive. But, I work tomorrow so maybe I'll be a bit more productive, but we'll see.

Oh! And here's some flight info for when I arrive in Chicago: I'll be arriving in Terminal 5 at about 2:10 PM on Friday, April 24th. Can't wait to see you! It's almost exactly one month now!!

hm, awesome. so on random note i accidentally fell asleep while waiting for Mark and so when i woke up at 5:30 i saw that i probably fell asleep 20 minutes before he got online. Anyway, so since 5:30 I've been awake, crying (this is becoming a common thing), anyway, no details yet from me about what it is, but it is jsut me crying over stuff not fixed that I want to be. and I haven't been on men in ages.

I hope your communication problems sort themselves out soon!! In any case, I'm forseeing the need for peace of mind for the both of us; for me because the semester is coming to an end, and for you because of social problems. Hopefully we will both get this soon and it will last for a while!

Yeah, peace of mind came for a bit, hopefully to stay. glad it is possibly going somewhere, but yeah, hopefully. Mark is pestimistic though about it, not surprising, but meh, if it works out, it can happen.

That's the spirit! Yeah, the peace of mind is gone for me as well. I'm applying for the Gilman Scholarship which is due on the 7th. Can you say "Yikes!" ? At least the application is online and my Study Abroad Advisor is getting everything worked out for the transcripts and such. I love way-too-soon deadlines like that. I also go to Barcelona in a week and have--literally--no money. At least, none that I can get a hold of--I still don't have my bank card. This is because my package has never reached me; in fact, the package could arrive after I've left because it can potentially take up to 6 weeks for a package to make it over to the UK. Gross. I'll have good and stale cookies by the time I get it! lol

Anyway, 3 weeks left!!!!! I better have my card by the time I'm in Chicago!!

Eww, that will be hard. And I am busy, but am in work mood, or was last ngith till 3:30 and such.. but a drawing is mostly done, that is the good part. Blarg, time to colapse but yeah, I can't.

Yay for drawing!! I did watercolors in art today, and scratched at another linoleum tile. Great fun!! The latest block carving is one of Lauren's senior pics. The one the flute and the water. I just love that one and it's going to look really nice once it's printed too. I'll just have to be careful because there is a TON of dugout space which means that the paper could fall in and get ink on it where it's not supposed to. Being careful is good.

Anyway, the scholarship app shouldn't be too bad; I finished one essay, now I just have one more. The scholarship is the Gilman Scholarship. It funds students to go abroad who normally are unable to, you have to have the Federal Pell Grant to apply. If I get the scholarship, then I'll have to do a project that informs the community about my experience and the scholarship, that's the essay I just finished. My project idea is basically a series of presentations, one to the Student Educators Association, one to the International Club, and a couple presentations to French classroom as middle and high schools, preferably low-income schools. I'm actually excited about the project, strange as it may sound. And I REALLY hope I get this scholarship; it would help out a bunch. I could get up to $5,000!!!

hm, I wish I still did wathe colors, and ooh flute and water picture was pretty. and that is a nice scholorship. Oh i guess when you come you'll get to see the work I've been doing for the last year. rather go stare at psyrien's has better drawing than me these day (no motivation goes a long way).

yeah. Motivation is a key factor in work, I've found. Like I should start editing my term paper that's due Monday, but I have absolutely no motivation to do so. I'll probably come head to head with a TON of motivation on Sunday, though. I also need to do my index, which is due tomorrow. And math homework. And read about 10 chapters in Dracula. Why does school work always have to pick up at the end of the semester when you want nothing more than to be done with the whole thing?

Well i have motivation soon, and yeah, almost done, but I have soo much damn work due this week, one on each, it is really bothering me, but that is ok. Drawing almost done, and I have structures quiz and a presentation tomorrow. Also have this drawing now....garrr

I have a lot of work this week, too. I have to have Dracula finished by Monday, I also have my British Studies term paper due Monday, I had an index for Jane Eyre due today, art projects to finish, meetings to go to, a play to see, it goes on and on. Oh! And I should have my card by next week!!! SOOO HAAAPPPYYYYYY!!!! It means I'll have money for Barcelona and to go out to the Japanese restaurant in town!! A friend of mine who's family is stationed in Korea and I have been craving asian food. Especially ramen. Mmmmmmm..... Ra-men..... Oh, God, I'm hungry. But I can't have food until after the end of semester meeting with our orientation groups. *sigh*

Ah, carp. I have class tomorrow. Yuck. I like not having class of Fridays. I'm doomed next semester.

Hm, well the rest of my weekend is shot, I have a drawing due monday again, and for the first time all got sleep over 5 hours, but got a whopping 12, that was amazing and nice. well technically was in bed since 8 or so, but yeah, sleep probably started at 10 or so, didn't actually make it dressed and out till almost 11:30 but such is the oh by the way you need to stockpile sleep thing. Also glarg!! have no gold to make anything.

oh I keep eating it to get CIs and the St. Patties, items, hopefulyl I can make 5k in a week so I cna get the easter items too....I owe someone 2800 for the new CI set too.

Well, since /i finally got my bank cards today, I actually have the illusion of having money. It'll be gone before I know it, though. I have to take out 100 pounds so I can pay people back and pay for a taxi out to Midlands Airport, and then I'm going to Barcelona this weekend, and I'll have to take out around 150 euros to pay for the hostel, food, etc. And by the time I leave Chicago, I'm pretty sure I'll have hardly anything left!! This is why I need a job this summer; so I can spend all of my hard earned money in France!!
