Haha!! We'll manage, Dragon. I'll probably end up fairing better than my Mom or Lauren, though!! And don't worry about messiness--my room is still an utter disaster zone! Can't wait to see youuuuuu~~~~ SQUEE!

Thanks for all the congratulations and birthday wishes. ^^ Oh, oh! And Stephen Poon said happy birthday to me too, and it makes me ridiculously happy. xD I know it's facebook, and facebook tells you it's someone's birthday--but it still makes me happy! x3 <- very silly fangirl
Now as for my actual exam, it actually went very well this time. I did not go flying like I did in the previous exam. Happily, I was paired with the girl in my own dojo that I've been practicing with, which was AWESOME because we're used to each other. And I didn't end up accidently hitting her in kata (you're supposed to stop before you actually hit the target)! So kata was a breeze. I was nervous as hell, but it was okay. I didn't have to relearn someone else's patterns or anything, just had to perform.
The shiai (sparring) part of the exam was thankfully not too bad either. I was once again paired with the same girl from my dojo, so we knew each other's fighting styles. I also had the comfort of knowing that she wouldn't send me flying. For my second match, I fought a girl that was trying for the rank below me, which in itself does not mean an easy match. There's some pretty scary ikkyu people. However, I ended up being the girl's fourth match, so I got to observe her, and she wasn't one of those scary people. In fact, she really just stood there, so I got to do pretty kendo with a slightly active target. It was great. ...although I did end up feeling kinda sorry for beating on her by the end. It is unnerving to fight someone when they don't really fight back. I think I might almost prefer feeling like the other guy is going to send me flying.
The written exam was a breeze. It was the exact same questions on the study hand out. Of course, I had to go and be an over achiever and do all three essays instead of just two because I couldn't decide which ones I wanted to do. xD
All in all, it was a good exam, and I can now say I have a rank equivalent to a black belt! x3
...now just what am I to do with the rest of summer? o_0

sounds like a good test, though seeing you go flying for the belt before made more sense than not for this one.
soo talking ot you, and okami, great having you over, though sorry in advance, I might be dealing a bit with Mark cause apprently he might be ditching me the second half of the week, to clean up a mess he made (figurativly)/ repair what he broke

Sounds like that was a very nice test! I'm slightly disappointed that I didn't take to any form of martial arts. I also wish I'd stuck with dance as a kid, but that's a different issue, and I'm starting to pick it up again. I'll just have to find rec centers that have adult dance classes. I suppose I could always take up a martial arts, but, I don't know, they just don't seem to fit too well my lifestyle and stuff.
As for Mark, hmmm..... kind of a yuck? Did you like my knives?? I think they're very pretty, but I wish I had the rest of the set and some of the other stuff. I can get the ice cream scoop for $6.50 since I'm a rep! I love the rep discount I get!! It's only on some stuff, but that ice cream scoop is normally like $33.....I just wish it worked for everything they make.... Maybe I will buy some stuff before I disappear for months....
GAH!!!!!!! IN..TER..VIEW...... Kowai desu yo! It's Scarry!!! In about one hour I will be well on my way to a nervous wreck.... FFFrreennnchhh......

Oh wow, that is alot of amount, I'd buy your knifes if I got discount a bit.
and that wasn't bad, it was like 5 minutes.
Also that is why I am all pissed off with mom, and now apprently my desk isn't coming in tuesday, but is coming in either mondya next week, or today which we have to go out to get...... mom keeps interupting me with logistic thing X failed, we need to fix, rather than undestanding some of that kills my plans.

Yeah, the discount is nice, and, Dragon, there is a way to get a discount. You see, in our price book, each item as "points" and "price." For every $50, you can get 10 points for free. So, essentially if one were to buy the 9 1/4 French Chef Knife ($110), you'd get 20 points. That would mean you could get the table knife or the vegetable peeler or the basting spoon or the ladle or the wisk or the slice n' serve or the slotted spoon for free. So it's kind of like getting a discount......
Of course, I might be able to suruptiously give you basically my discount, through my ordering it and you apying me back plus shipping, if it's the right item, so what knives did you like the most?

h he, not quite sure, I really love the same one mom was talking about, but the issue is I need to wait till I feel more comfortable that my kitchen ware is not going to be used or mistreated by others (nothing against psyrien, but I don't trust me spending lots of money on amazing knife in exchange for ruin).

@Dragon: That's completely understandable. I don't ever plan on bringing my knives to school! Especially since I'll be in the dorms the whole time! The only things I'd think of bringing would be something like the ice cream scoop or the kitchen tools, since they're not as expensive as the knives. And, of course, there is the Forever Gurantee, at least that would cover anything that would be done to those knives/tools, including getting run over by a vaccuum or something weird like that!
I'm pretty tuckered out myself. I went and worked out this evening. Ran 3/4 of a mile and walked the other 1/4, as well as biked and did strength stuff. I think I'm going to be sore tomorrow....
And is it just me or does this weekend not really seem like the 4th of July?? It's kind of freightening how fast time goes by!
Oh, and I think I like the July constribution items the best out of the ones I've bought so far....
