Hey there! And it's no problem. I tend to disappear for weeks on end, and I don't read the pages that I missed. xD

Hmm, as to what's going on, kas hasn't been able to sleep well; dragon's job issues are a bit better but her mom is grumpy; okami made some sales and got a promotion; and I am somewhat depressed from cleaning my room.

I also made a very tasty dinner tonight. Opakapaka with wild mushroom sauce on a bed of spinach plated with rice. I even plated it all pretty with the rice in little molds and the sauce in nice drizzles. It was fun. xD ...It also tasted pretty good too. I hadn't been sure what to expect as I had a bit of a mishap with the wine and ended up pouring in a bit too much. >_> Eheh.

blargh. I don't wanna start figuring out if I have enough stuff to survive in England. I need to have enough shirts to last two weeks so I don't have to do laundry as often, and I'll probably be layering thin long sleeved with short sleeved shirts. I also have to decide which of my seven UE-themed shirts I won't take with me. Some are from clubs... Actually, most are from clubs... maybe I should do that instead of talking about it. I do need to get my laundry and drag it downstairs anyway. *wanders off to poke at clothing options*

you are missing your own stuff psyrien, though that is understandable. Also week is ok this week, too hot and hearing and talking about it is good. I am writing a review to how summer was and what shoudl be fixed

ahhh... borders is slow for shipping. It would have been better if I had just asked my mom to take me to borders or barnes and noble. even though BOTH are at the place that's kinda like Flatirons. The part that's not the main mall, but the outlit stores that surround it, and expand that to the size of the entire flatirons area+outlit stores. And the same amount of yucky traffic.

Kohls is out there too, and i like kohls better than Macy's. Because while its big, it's in a circle. macy's here has three floors. though I wonder how many floors Macys has in Chicago... *is a little afraid to find out*

Kas, I think there's like seven floors to Macy's in water tower. xD And you know what's funny about your Julia Child comment? I just saw the movie last night. xD

As for opakapaka, it's just a type of fish. It has an English name, but I've grown up only knowing the Hawaiian one. I think it's some kind of snapper. Very tasty, whatever it is.

FakeSunShine, as much fun as I think it would be to become a chef, I don't think it's something I'd want to do. I enjoy cooking, but I don't think I'd do it for a living. It is fun, though.

Grawr. And i really, really wanna go hiking before I leave. ...And not just on diamond head but on a REAL trail. I know my mom is overprotective, but it's not like I'm going alone or at an unknown place. Is going up the mountain with my aunt and friend really so bad? >_<

No, I didn't get to go hiking in CO, although I did drive up with dragon's mom to a mountain or something to see the whole city.

Hiking here right now is fail because of the stupid tropical storm. ~_~ Go away, Felicia. Or if you're really so insistent, just storm already and then leave. I'm tired of these rainy, half dark days.

Hey all! Thank for the congrats!! I got a little certificate last night at the meeting because my 500-some sale total for the week put me intoi the bottom of the top five!! Not like that's really all that surprising; there's only 7 in the office right now in the first place!

Yeah, I didn't get to go hiking either while I was in CO. :(

Oh, oh, oh! NINE DAYS!!!!!!!! Which means I get to miss whole chunks of conversation because I'll be 6/7 hours ahead of people....

And it means you'll be driving mom and me INSANE for the next nine days. Try to keep the nervous-bubbling-grumpiness to a minimum? I'm only going to get four days to go into happy-freaking-out mode after you're gone.

Shadow's still a crazy kitteh. Though she spends most days curled up on a chair sleeping. Now she wrestles with out kitten that we got when we moved to KY. She looks like a mini-Shadow without the extra toes.
