Psyrien: Of course I'm selling those proper french knives!! And they're not only great for looking French, they are also wonderful for chopping and dicing anything from large onions to peanuts (which would take skill). And, of course, there are plenty of other knives to accompy, including several BRAND NEW Japanese knives, giving you the best of cuisine from richly flavored French to the "exotic" Japanese. There's also an ice-cream scoop that can melt an ice cube in seconds.

Wow. That's a lot of dresses, but I know what you mean by the overspending. I've made some decent money this summer from my "crazy knife job," as we CUTCO reps like to call it, but I've spent, like, half of it. Which means I only have half of what I should have for France.... GAH!!!! And it was all on stupid stuff, too. Like clothes, and airline fees, and eating out.

*pokes at her avi* the circlet is bothering me. I'm not sure I like it, but with the hairstyle, it looks really strange not to have SOMETHING on the head... I might just have to change my hair back. And change into the more-revealing "harem" outfit to show off the anklet better.

Edit: Yesterday my paternal grandfather fell and hit his head. He was taken to the hospital and lost conciousness. All of the family that could (er, the ones who can AFFORD it) flew down to FL. He has regained conciousness and is reconizing people now. But, he apparently fractured his skull when he fell and has a massive hema-something. No idea how to spell it. As he had already signed something that prevents long-term life-support and any major surgeries, he gets to lie in a hospital bed and wait. It could be a few weeks, or it could be any day if he suddenly takes a turn for the worse.

I believe I spent over $200 this summer. @[email protected] Probably somewhere around $250-$300. And yeah, it was pretty much on stupid things like clothes and eating out too. xD ...The only large purchase was a $140 monitor, which is HUGE and pretty and actually bigger than dragon's (only by inch, but still, I never thought I'd get a monitor as big as hers, much less BIGGER). o_0

Yeah, I changed the outfit. It was one of the 232 in teh Special Events store things. Purple Aurora Callopie Circlet or something like that... I think I'll sell it back once the event is over so I'll get back all I spent on it.

As far as changing things so he could have major surgery or something... He's 90, or 91. Something like that. *shrugs* and extremly stubborn from what I know of my dad's family. They are all very mule-like at times. He probably won't change it... We haven't heard anything more, but most people are just e-mailing my mom and not bothering to add my sister and I to the e-mail list.

*pokes Expedia in surprise* Seriously? Leaving Tuesday still only costs $245? And I'll only be there two days. Ew... 6:30 AM flight that I'll be forced to sit by the window for. Both bits coming back, I has a yucky window seat. the other two flights I have an Asile seat!

I learned (the hard way) that me beign trapped in a window or center seat isn't a good thing if the plane ride is very long. Unless I'm next to skinny peoples. Then I don't feel as cramped and clausterphobic. Trip to CA one spring break was horrible. Plane had major mechanical issues that we sat, on the RUNWAY for at least an hour before tehy told us to get off and that they'd find us another way to CA. About ten, fiften minuets into the runy-way sitting session, I made my mom switch seats with me so I would stop panicking.

aww, that doesn't sound good either. but then again, it is soo costly too.

Anyway, party was epic, and I acutally mean it, I got to slice bottles with a real sword and learn how to cut correctly. it was amazing. then i had to listen to a guy for a bit, but we all ran and came out then had a fun time playing L5R.

Ahh~~ I'm hungry!! And I wish I could go out to FL, too, but I might be able to see Jenn now when we take kas up to Louisville, so I guess it'll be a trade-off. And I still want to go up to EVV before I disappear for four months.... Oh, I wish I had more demos set up, but as it turns out, no one was home last night. I literally went through my ENTIRE refferal sheet and only one person answered. And she doesn't know a time yet.... sigh. At least I have one set up for Monday.

I caught my first wave today! And I discovered that body boarding is actually really fun and it doesn't really matter too much if you can't swim. ...The only problem is not being able to see, but it's alright if your with someone. I don't know why I didn't try this earlier. Now I'm going to leave in two days and probably won't be able to go out again till winter.

Well, part of the reason I don't want to leave now is because of the whole divorce thing plus money issues (it is now happening). I don't feel good leaving my mom alone like this. I know she'll be fine, and that in some ways it'll be good for us to go so she can study for her exam and stuff, but I don't like leaving right now. Too much has been changing in these past three or four weeks. I want some sort of stability, and I don't know if Chicago will give me that. I am tired of packing up and throwing away memories; I want to build something.

um, build a desk, and acutlaly recently me more stable might help. though not sure what the soroity will bring and such. once mom is out, I wil lbe happierr, less complainging. And yeha we have AC. but I do understnad about hte divorce thing, sorry to hear that it is now happening.
