Happy Thanksgiving lovelies!!

Dragon, I'm glad things are going well!! What are you up to for the three-day holiday?

Kas, tsk tsk... falling asleep in class. Sounds like you need to avoid the comfy chairs! Have fun at your smart dress Thanksgiving dinner in the beautiful Long Gallery!

Let's see, had Thanksgiving with a ton of French and American folks in a restaurant that took American receipes and served up some turkey, sweet potatoes, "corn bread," stuffing, etc, yesterday; will be having cooking a Korean lunch with a a Korean friend (Hyoin) and another friend (it's Hyoin's birthday sunday, so we're going to surprise her with a cake), and then go Christmas shopping with yet another friend; watching the second Twilight movie for the second time with a Danish and a Mexican friend Sunday; and then next Friday my language class is getting together for a night of ice skating! Oh, and I had an English converstation group Thursday morning as well, and a French hotdog later in the afternoon.

Hope your LEGO-themed black Friday shopping went well!

Nice! I went shopping today, too. Didn't buy anything, though. Mostly making lists of what to buy as Xmas presents for people...

had "dinner" on Thanksgiving. The turkey was the only good part, and it was only a step above teh roast turkey from the Sunday dinners.

Nee-chan, Mom is making us "Thanksgiving dinner" as Christmas dinner.

Last week of classes, then finals. Nothing else is due, thank goodness.

Well..... It's now been two weeks since I've shown my face around here.... I'll probably frequent the forums more over the break.... Things are getting crazy busy with such a limited time left in Rennes! For example, last weekend I went ice skating on Friday and then to a soccer game Saturday. Today I had extra choir practice, tomorrow I have one of my last internship classes, Wednesday I have an extra hour of classes, Friday I have a choir concert and a party for CIREFE, Saturday I'm going to celebrate my birthday with a dinner and some drinks, Monday I have two finals and dinner with choir, and it just keeps going up until my last day here!!

But it sounds like everyone is busy now. And kas goes back to the States really, really soon.... as in three days....

Roommate? Is she distracting you? If so, bad psyrien, bad!

My birthday is what's distracting me from getting things done! I'm going to eat dinner with some friends Saturday evening, and maybe get a couple drinks afterward. Seriously, how much more anti-climatic can a birthday be than your 21st? Most of the time, you've already been drinking, even if it's only because you've been abroad where the drinking age is 18. But still, it will be a fun night, and I wish my American buddies would be there with me!! But, alas, they are in America, and I am in France. At least I'll get good alcohol here... Not that I've become a drinker or anything!

woah. A break up? I can see the rolling emotions now! Seriously, I'm on Skype all the time, so, we should totally chat. But I'll be back in the States is a week and then you can call me for as long as you want to!

My sea of emotions has be a bit choppy, too. I want to see everyone at my home university, and my family, of course, but I don't want to leave France. Yet, at the same time, I don't want to be in my host family's house any longer, even though I absolutely love the dad. And then there's the fact that I don't really want to go home, as in, to Kentucky. Because, I'll be there for only four days before I fly up to DC for my granddad's funeral. I don't like the idea of going home to a funeral.... Plus, I just don't want to say goodbye to the friends I've made here!! Gosh darn it! Why do things have to be some dang complicated??

At least my finals are over....

Flight was long. 45 hours awake, with only an hour dozing in the airport after getting through security. Then, got cold which turned into sinus crap and now I have antibiotics and perscription cough meds.

yay cough meds.

*cuddles dragon* I'm usually on Skype, and if you want to call to talk to me, or to my mom, feel free. She's working most of the day tomorrow (the 18th) but we should be reachable by at least my cell # even if we're out doing things. (Will you be with your Mom for Christmas? Just need to know where to send your gift).

I am home for christmas. (back with my mom). break up was getting better, I got my last night with Mark and fun for the day. Hopefully nothing really different will change, and I'll talk to you both when Katie gets back in states. It's been a long time. (I am also too lazy for skype).

ah. Skype loads when I start up my computer, so that's why I use it a lot. And because it has the video chat stuff so it's useful when you're abroad.

I'm sure it does. Wish I had a car.... and could drive it..... Not like it's help much in Paris. Paris is just a pain to get around no matter what kind of transportation! I was kind of spoiled in Rennes--one metro line, easy-to-use bus system, small town... Yep, totally miss that place.... Of course, Evansville has a worse transportation system than Paris does! Yippee.

Anyway, I'm flying back to the States tomorrow and will be in the Chicago airport for about 3 hours, so I'll call you then.

nee-chan, 303 is the area code for phones. The zip code changed to 80305 when we were in Elem. school.
