Like others have said on here just don't talk to him on the interweb or in person. He asked you to give him some space so he most likely doesn't mean just on my-face-space-book he probibly also means in person as well. So do as he says give him some space and if and when he feels like talking to you then he should be the one to start talking to you not the other way around.

I think you should listen to him. If he doesn't want a girl who wants to talk to him, then I don't think he's worth pursuing anyway. You don't even know if the feelings are mutual and he's already asking you for space. Could you see how the potential relationship could end up?

I think you should just stop talking to him, or talk to him just as much as he talks to you. He sounds like he's not interested, so I would also try to move on. I'm really sorry- this could turn out to be a blessing in disguise if you find someone else who never wants space from you. At least he's honest.<3

Plus, maybe if you stop paying as much attention to him, he'll start to notice you more. You could develop a really good friendship with him, if nothing more.
