And I think its really nice to get away from the absolute mounds of vampire books there are now. I mean, people are getting so obsessive with vampires.

I like the books, I just dont like how people are starting to get so obsessive over them.

I think it's because there's a virtually infinite amount of plots to be explored in the vampire genre. I wish werewolves got more press though! I could use less on the puns though XD

Because they're not necessarily icy and "perfect" like everyone makes vampires out to be. And vampires are always in a great relation to sex, which also snags peoples attention.

The Vampires in the Sookie series are not perfect. At all.

Sera & Su- The main character in this series is called Vanyel and he is homosexual. It isn't graphic or anything but it does talk about his relationship. The series is about Vanyel and how all these mages are dying. Sorry I really suck at book descriptions. The books are called. - Magic's Pawn, Magic's Promise, and the last one is Magic's Price.

Because I'm straight, so I dont want to read about a gay womens relationship. I have no problem with lesbians or bis, but I just prefer not to see it or have them hit on me, because it just makes me feel a bit awkward.
