I remember there were a couple of mango trees in my first grade elementary school, I used to throw rocks at the tree along with a bunch of other kids, hoping to strike down a free mango or two...and then promptly gorge ourselves sticky. Ahh...good ol' days. :lol:

I have a deep, abiding love of libraries.

Particularly when they involve free wi-fi.

When I was growing up Libraries only had books. Darn whipper snappers! *shakes fist*

So did mine! I learned how to navigate the library via card catalogue first -- I remember when my local library first got computers to search. It was all green text on black backgrounds. :P

I'm currently sitting in my university's Arts Library, which is a lovely uncrowded place.

o.o My parents used to leave me alone in the nearby library. I would even pack a lunch and hang out, reading books. I used to pile up so many books to bring home, the librarians thought they were supposed to clean up my books while other people thought they could choose books out of my basket. XD Oi!

Dystopia: LOL, that's pretty hilarious. I always preferred to get my books and then take them home, read on my bed. My library tended to attract the creepy weirdos who'd hang out there all day. Pervert types.

I LOVE Libraries, but (now) only for books on CD..... I am VERY VERY VERY OCD with my books, like, you can't even tell they've ever been opened when I get done reading them, and I like OWNING books I read, so... yea

Heh, MinaBaby, you're that type? We would *never* get along. I used to be OCD about no creases, but then when I started working as a scholar, I simply had to have my books lie flat so I could type things out of them. Plus, a lot of my books belong to the school libraries, which means they're already marked up.

Oh, and I write a lot in my books, too. :P Used to be pencil, but now it's pen. And highlighting pencils. Which I totally :heart:.
