I usually hate math class. I don't like the teachers or students and they don't like me. But this year- freshman year -it's different. I LOVE MY MATH CLASS.

First of all it's tiny. 15 people in it I think. And it's "stoopid math" where they stick the kids that our old math teachers didn't like and said we needed "extra help". My teacher is hilarious- he's pretty young and he's a football coach at the school. These two kids are always bickering during the lesson, one guy and one girl, and on day my teacher goes "You know what I think?" and we were like "What?" and he said "I think one day they're going to get married." and we were like "YEAH!" and the guy goes "After we get married I'm going to ship her to Africa." xDDD And last class my teacher asked them if they had set a date and the guy said they couldn't decide which flowers to get, but he was leaning towards marigolds XDDDD

Don't you just love teachers like that? x3 I have this hilarious French teacher, and this one time he was telling us that we can't "sait"/know someone in french, unless we're having sexual relations with them. So, my friend is like, "Uh, so when I said I knew Tom on the homework.."

And he was like, "Yeah, you're probably pregnant."

xDDD We seriously couldn't stop laughing. The rest of the class he kept saying these things that sounded like sexual innuendo and it just made the whole thing more hilarious.

I'm not taking French but I am taking Japanese and my teacher is pretty cool.

I missed math yesterday and one of my classmates told me it's over D: They broke the engagement because they couldn't decide a date ;-;

I really don't like my math class. I'm a freshman, too, and I'm taking Algebra II. I'm going to slap the teacher who taught me Algebra I and Geometry. If she would have taught us linear regression, I swear, I would have gotten a 100 on this test in the first six weeks, and I wouldn't have a B in that class for the first six weeks. I blame her for the fact that I already have a B this year. D:

But I really love my English class. Our teacher is amazing. We're about to cover Julius Caesar, and to get us ready for it, our teacher talked a little bit about Shakespearean and Elizabethan times. She referred to poop flying out of street windows as "flying booboo." HILARIOUS.

Aw :[ I didn't like my math teacher last year because she was really mean to my best friend whose first language isn't English.

My drawing class is always hilarious.
There are a couple of kids that always get made fun of
but they don't care so people are always coming up with new jokes.
Since it's a drawing class and
sometimes we draw out of fashion or art magazines
there both interesting and disgusting pictures.
People argue about who's hot and not.
This girl Suzanna and I just sit back and watch.
Sometimes we see things nobody else sees
so we'll laugh our heads off and people think we're crazy.

I always hate my math classes too...but this past summer when I took a...well summer class, I had the most AMAZING professor! I loved him and he made the class a ton of fun, so I know what you're saying...that class was kind of small...4 hours long which kind of sucks but it was really good for me beacuse I did well in the class, and that's what I needed because math is hard for me.

My math teacher treats us like we're idiots, even though we're 20 eight graders taking honors level Algebra I. Really annoying. And she rambles all period about her six (grown) kids and how we suck as an advanced class and about college and careers and stuff. Sometimes I want to shout "Geeze, woman! We're in middle school!"

Last year, my math teacher didn't teach AT ALL (her theory was that we were the advanced class so we should know this stuff).

I love SS because my teacher doesn't teach and I talk to my friend all period...haven't learned a thing all year, but heck, I have an A.

Science is amazing, too. I really like my teacher. He treats us like people-not like stupid little children. It's awesome. I've learned so much, and I have a deal with him that if I can pull a 100 the next 3 marking period (got a 98 last time) and get a 99 or 100 on the final, he'll give me a 100 for the year. I have a 100 so far this marking period...actually I have 101...

I'm in Junior year and we gave our English teacher a blow-doll. :3

Funny teachers are awesome. My math teacher is pretty funny. On his desktop he always has some type of creepy/funny/weird picture. Right now it's little chibi-ified X-men fighting a chibi-ified robot. Last time it was a cloud barfing rainbows. And an assortment of creepy, demented clowns.

And on tests he puts random questions like,

A) you launch a rocket from a height of 64 feet with an initial upward velocity of 48 feet per second. How long will it take the rocket to reach the grpund? [h=-16t2 + vt + s]

B) Draw a picture of what you are shooting at.

AND:

a) The power on Isla Nublar has gone out and the dinosuars' cages are open. Caught in the field unprepared, you discover that are being tracked by a raptor. It stands 120 feet away and jumps into motion the same moment you begin to sprint across the field.

i) Your top running speed is 15 miles per hour. Find your speed in feet per second.

ii) The raptor can run 50 feet per second. How many seconds until the raptor overtakes you?

iii) An equipment shed with a door is on the other end of the field 85 feet away. Will you make it to the shed in time?

iv) Raptors learned how to open doors.

And he has a character called Daisy and she's on every test and she has a major obsession with stereos. We keeps coming back! SHE WON'T DIE! There are a lot of questions where she dies in random waus, like having her plane bombed, or being on Mars and suffocating, but she keeps coming back.

Fifteen People can make any class fun/great.
My math class has 40 people in there. It's not that great since it takes forever for the teacher to talk. Especially when she's quiet and has a horrible accent to understand. I'll be lucky to pass Math this year. (and I'm good at it! lol)

He seemed to have a lot of questions on hsi tests where poodles die. I guess he didn't like poodles.

I love my math class right now. I'll be sad to leave it. I'm currently in Game Theory, which means we just analysis how some games work and how to win them. So we get to play little games in the class every day. And the teacher is so nice and funny. He gives us little brain teasers to play with and he juggles when he has nothing else to do. He's my favorite teacher here.

My math class prepares me for 4th period science this year xP It has like 30 kids and most of them are preppy girls or "skater" guys. The teacher sounds like a cross between Kermit the Frog and Mr. Ray from "Finding Nemo" :/

  This is so weird. Every morning there's a help-tutoring-math class in my office (I work at an elementary/middle/high school) and today the math teacher just said something really funny, and I was all "I wish I had somewhere to post about this!"
  
  I just finished a math class, I took the final last night. Math 120 (math for general ed) was really easy, but I"m not majoring in math at all, so I took the easiest class that transfers xD
  
  
  SO the math teacher teaching right now is trying to explain combining like terms. For a problem that looks like:

  He said, and I quote "2x wants to chill with his homies on the other side of town. Who's 2x's homie? 3x! right!" xD
  
  EDIT:: My math teacher for math 120 was amazing! If Borat were a math teacher, this guy would be him. He's hilarious! He makes dumb jokes, but they're so funny, lol. Like he asked this girl for the answer, and she told him, then he was all "Is lady right? Do you agree with her answer? We say yes! lady is always right! Otherwise you lose your house. Happened to me 12 years ago. So always say yes!"

I've had a lot of great teachers in college so it's hard to choose between one of them. My absolute favorites would have to be my english/literature teachers. They made the classes fun and it was nice to have teachers who didn't make us do buttloads of work without explaining everything first. Then again, I never really mind having writing intensive classes, since I love writing.
I'd have to say that teachers that teach in the summer
are a lot more laid back and easy going than other teachers...though having a shorter period of time in which to learn stuff is a bit harder. But overall, my best teachers were my english and creative writing teachers.

My Math teacher's fairly funny. She gets distracted and tells silly stories. One of her most recent one was about bears... she's really, REALLY scared of animals xD So her friend gave her this documentary on how to survive a bear encounter. xD; She spent like ten minutes describing how to do this. "Whoa, bear! WHOA!" However, even with all of her antics, the class sucks.

Marketing sucks and rocks at the same time. The teacher is terrible and we never do ANY work, but we're in a computer lab, so I can just eff off and browse. Lately, I've just been coming here, aha.

Intro to Anthro is like, the best class EVER ever. The teacher is amazing, and with the exception of a few choice people, the class is great. I love the material, too, so it's like, triple-awesome.

And then there's Strings, which is just always supersweet because the teacher is awesome and I love the music and I love playing viola. xP

My Science teacher in grade nine was hilarious... he always told these strange stories and said weird things. One day, he walked over to the freezer and pulled out a baggy. He held it up to the class and exclaimed, "Dead bees! In the freezer! For three years..."

He also wrote his "y"s backwards on the board. C:

My entire class is made of troublemakers and goofballs xD My Health class has a similar thing with two troublemakers except one of the girls is really stupid and thinks her parents will let her do anything :/
