:'D Oh man people just need to get over it~ xD; Disney is remaking old fairy tales, so if anybody is sexist or whatever it's our ancestors. :'D They wrote them, Disney just adapted them into musical animated features..!!

I think they do get a lot of grief for it, though, but whenever they try to rectify it ends up kind of dumb and people just give them -more- grief. People complained about Peter Pan and how sexist it was and how Wendy was like commodified and all that, but then they made Peter Pan 2 and everybody complained about how whateverhernameis was too strong of a female role and it was unrealistic and blah blah blah. xD; They just can't win..!

I don't really know who my favorite is.. :'D My favorite Disney movies don't tend to be those with princesses. So far, I really like the princess design for the upcoming Disney movie. xD I'm excited to see that they're making another musical fairy tale movie, since that's what we all grew up on! So I hope it can live up to the classics.

It's the Princess and the Frog (I don't know what they're going to call it), and people are kind of making a big deal about it because it's Diseny's first black princess. xD; I'm sure people will find tings to complain about that too, though beforehand people probably complained that too many of them were white... :'D It seems like it'll be good, though,a nd it's really interesting because it's like set in the antebellum south or something, and there's voodoo and all kinds of crazy things~ :3 But the same good old animation Disney is so famous for~

Mulan was one of the reasons I started loving oriental lifestyles and is my all time favorite heroine. 8D Mushu one of my favorite heros but he probably doesn't come into this category. XD

Jasmine is the girl that got me hooked on desert themed stuff, which initially led to my love of Ancient Egypt and Ancient Arabic culture (though Egyptian more than Arabic), also led to the discovery that one of my great great great (hell knows how many other greats there are) grandma's was an Indian Princess of great wealth. o.O How it lead to that discussion I really don't know.

Ariel was a favorite too, and was the reason I started being interested in the ocean and all aquatic life forms which my dad really loved seeing as he shares that interest (we've had a fish tank somewhere in the house for as long as I can remember).

Cinderella... hasn't inspired me to do much. XD She got me wishing that I could turn a pumpkin into whatever I wanted and that my future husband would be a cat that was changed into a person. >>;

Sleeping beauty is probably where I got my sleepy attitude from.

I'll shut up there. D8 I can go on forever. Disney Princesses rule though. X3

Belle should count as a princess, she marries a prince at the end of the movie! Anyway, her and jasmine were my favorites. And she's not a princess, or even human, but I wanted to be Nala so bad. XD

My fav disney movie is the rescuers, definitely one of the most underrated disney movies ever! The music is absolutely fantastic, and it has some dark themes, but with comedy, unlike 101 dalmatians which is dark without comedy. DX

Never liked cindarella or snow white. Don't like bambi either, but they all are kind of the same-boring.

The only disney sequal I ever liked was the resuers: down under. All others have been lousy tries at making more money.

I think all the crap about the princess stuff is BS.. I grew up watching it with a lot of other generations and we turned out just fine. My husband did not right up on a horse or have a perfect ending... and there sure as hell no animals that help me clean my house. But I love the Disney Princess Movies. My daughters room is done up in Disney Princess with all the fixings. The tv, lamp and dvd player and curtains and bed spread. She loves it and I even tell her she is a princess.

My favorite one growing up was the Little Mermaid. I loved all the characters and the songs. I used to dream of being Ariel while I took my bubble baths.

I love disney princesses. I still wish for happily ever after and i still want to meet my "Prince charming." I remember when i had a cinderella costume for Halloween. Hehe. I still sing some of the songs from the movies. I guess i'm still a little kid at heart.

My favorite princess was probably either Ariel or Rose.

@soup-- Belle is a princess! Anyone who says she isn't is lying.
When you marry a prince, it makes you a princess. That is that. Therefore, she is a princess, damnit.
One of my favorites, obviously. XD

The only princesses that I can think of which I dislike are Cinderella and Snow White. They just seem pathetic. When you are generally perfect and overly reliant on your prince... it's just bad. Hah.

My favorite disney princess was Ariel X3 She was the most original for me! A little mermaid, not a princess with all the big dresses.... I also liked Cinderella at the beggining, her hair was kind of beautiful XD

My favorite Princess always has been and always will be...Aurora. She grew up as a commoner with three very comedic aunts and just fell right into the role of Princess...after she was sure she had her true love. AND she got a nice, long nap out of it. True it wasn't as long as the original story said it was, but eh, the prince wasn't gonna wait around forever, the guy had horse riding to do!

So, heh, yeah, I loved the scenes in the film where Fauna was making the cake. She had like NO idea what the hell she was doing. "Fold three eggs gently...fold? Oh well..." then she places three eggs into the dough-like batter and folds some over it *CRACK!* o_o;;

xD Makes me laugh every single time!

I was never that fascinated by the Disney Princesses. When I was little I was a bit of a tomboy (still am really :) ) I was in love with those movies with talking animals instead.

But if I had to pick a favorite I think I would have to go with Jasmine. She had a giant pet tiger! How awesome is that?

Mulan was my all time favorite Disney heroin. :D My favorite princess has to be Bell just because I found it beautiful and genuine that she could look past the Beast's looks and love him. <3

I never did think that the Disney princesses were corrupting...I've always liked them. Sort of...I mean, sometimes they could get annoying, but for the most part, I've liked nearly every single one of the characters Disney has ever put into any of its cartoon movies. Some of it's real-life movies...maybe not, but that's now the point, here.

I used to adore Ariel, but I sort of grew out of it. I've liked all the Disney Princesses--with the exception of Snow White, because she still freaks me out. I would have to say my favorite is Belle, but I'm stil confused over the whole 'princess' aspect. Some of Disney's princesses don't count for princesses, and some regular female characters count for princesses, so...yeah. I really to like them all, though...all except for SNOW WHITE. :c
