Ha! I have no skill's at all at walking in high heel's. I call them high hell's xD I don't know why but I have tryed to walk in them and I alway's end up falling. I think I should stick to wearing sandal's or tennis shoe's. xD This thread also reminded me of 80's Pump's :]

Wedges, however, I do much better in. :]

Anyways I never owned a pair of skinny heels because my mom wouldn't let me have them because I'm already a tall girl. I've gotten the big thick heeled boots before, but not anything like stilettos. So I can't actually walk in them well..
I'll try them on in the shoe store and I'll feel so awkward.
But the thing is... One of my dreams is to become a high fashion model, which I'd probably be wearing heels a lot.

Oh god, I'm so embarrassed for her. I bet she lost her job. I can't walk in high heels, but I don't usually try to walk in shoes that I'm going to fall over in. I do have some really cute green high heels, but almost never wear them because I am afraid to fall over. I love flats anyway though.

I love high heels! I am incredibly short, and I actually feel far more comfortable in high heel shoes than in flat shoes. It's like those shoes were made for me, and the higher the better (you can tell I like stilletos) They look really good with my legs and figure too. I could seriously do a marathon in them, I feel so comfortable with them on. I'm not kidding about that. I used to belong to a dance troupe in which we had to wear high heels during certain fast paced dance numbers, and I never had a problem with them. I wish I had more outfits to wear with them though.

I don't really like heels, on me. When I did fit them back in the 3rd grade when me and my mom had the same shoe size. Dx

I just wear sneakers all the time or like a pair of cheap flats I bought from Kmart and drew on.

I don't own any heels because I'll hurt myself.

Not to mention a lot of them don't seem to fit me properly (my feet aren't that abnormal, I wear either a normal 8 or a 7W).

I like how high heels look like, and how my feet look like when wearing them..
But I don't really like wearing them. I only wear them during very special occasions.
They're very tiring to wear..
My feet just feel really sore..
And I'm not really skilled in walking in high heels.
I always trip. (Yes, even when I'm wearing regular shoes and sandals). I think my ankles are very prone to spraining and things like that..

I love heels, but I'm quite tall (about 5'9" I think?) so I don't wear them too often. I don't wear super-high heels though, that would just look stupid on me.

I walk fine in heels, but I attribute that to dancing ballet for 18 or so years. I really only like wearing the thicker heels and no more that a few inches. I don't really like wearing heels higher than that, plus my fiance is barely taller than me as it is and I don't like feeling like I am towering over him.

I don't like heels at all. Actually, i've never even tried on those really high heels.

I wear high heels only on special occassions, like when there's a wedding, for example. At other times, I avoid wearing them like the plague. I never tripped while wearing high heels, I don't know anybody who has, either.

OMG, that was so embarrassing, especially since the anchorperson played it over and over again.

I absolutely never wear high heels due to my inability to balance in high shoes. Although, I find walking in them an entertaining challenge. Sometimes when I go to a shoe store I find the tallest heels in stock and walk around in them until I trip. I know it's not very smart or safe, but it's so much fun! :3

Anyway, I feel so sorry for the model. Everyone trips once in a while, but you'd have to be pretty unlucky to have it played over and over again in on the news.

Note: Actually, I own a pair of 3-inch platform shoes (not high heels) that I have no trouble walking in. Strange.

I already have problems with my back so I wouldn't wear heels for very long periods of time but I don't mind wearing them for awhile. I will not however were anything over two inches. Also I like to have a thicker heel, the ones that are really small look like they'd snap in two.

I'm a realitivly short person so I like the height I get when wearing heels. : )

I really don't like the pointy heels. They're impossible to walk in and look kinda crappy in my opinion. I can walk in them, but I haven't worn a pair since I was about 16 (the pointy kind). If I wear them now, which is rare, I will wear the thick heels. They look better and you can trust them a bit more. For reference, when I walked in the darn things, I'd basically be walking on my tip toes. No weight on the heel at all. It kept me from taking a tumble.
