How dare thee make me pick but one song from many? D; It's made doubly difficult from the fact that my favorite song changes by the day.

Either

Ordinary Day by Vanessa Carlton
Shattered Glass by Heather Alexander
or... *flips through Windows Media Player* ... *flips through YouTube favorites*
Through Fire and Flame

It'd depend on my pre-death mood and what I felt like listening too at the time.

Chou by Tsukiko Amano.
If you've never heard it...it's difficult to explain, but it's an absolutely amazing song.
One of the few that are actually very strong in both lyrics and song.
And it sounds amazing.

"O Fortuna"... one of my favorite songs of all time. You'll see that it has probably been used in countless movies. The translated lyrics are so poetic and beautiful.
Quote:
Fate is against me
in health
and virtue,
driven on
and weighted down,
always enslaved.
So at this hour
without delay
pluck the vibrating strings;
since Fate
strikes down the string man,
everyone weep with me!

Gekkouka by Janne da Arc.

It is one of the few songs I could actually listen to over and over again without getting sick of it (for close to two years already). It's a really beautiful song, tune and lyrics wise.

Most likely Green Day.
They were my first favourite band.
If I've lived my life listening to them, then I want to die listening to them.
On vinyl.
I don't know why.

I would probably play Say Hello 2 Heaven - Temple of the Dog mostly because it would be very ironic, and it is a great song.

But I don't know, there are a lot of other songs I would like to hear before I died.

Eric's Song by Vienna Teng. It's such a beautiful song, and so calming. The lyrics of bring out the connection people have to one another. Every time I listen to it, I just kind of feel like the world makes a little more sense. To be able to die feeling like things are how they should be would be a splendid thing.

what I've done by linkin park, cuz I want to feel that all the bad things I've done will be forgiven and I wont have to worry about it. Leave out all the rest also by linkin park, mostly for the same reason and mostly because i dont feel like anyone will remember me.
but theres one song that I'm pretty sure I'll die listening to if i where to die and be able to listen to. La ultima Carta (the final letter) by Vicente Fernández
Quote:
original/tranlation:estoy enfermo
solo, y triste
abandonado
mi pelo blanco por las
penas q he pasado

me haces falta
q veo tu imagen acercase lentamenete
y dulcemente oigo tu voz

abro los brazos pq creo q has regresado
y solo encuentro al redentor
crucificado
y no hay mentir en el sentir
de un moribundo
q de este mundo te dice adios

ahhhhhaaaahhh ayyyyyyyy

quiero q sepas al mirar mi ultima carta
q hasta en mis ultimos momentos
me haces falta
q veo tu imagen acercase lentamenete
y dulcemente oigo tu voz

abro los brazos pq creo q has regresado
y solo encuentro al redentor
crucificado
y no hay mentir en el sentir
de un moribundo
q de este mundo te dice adios
(I am...
sick..,
alone,and sad,
abandoned
My hair whitened by the troubles
that I've gone through
I feel my hand qiver as I write
the final letter
to tell you

That...
that there no hate
with in my soul
not one regret
it was my fate
that invited the dark night
I want you to know that
I loved to till death
but the fate of your love
tore us apart.

I want you to know
as you read my final letter
that even in my final moments
I need you deeply
I see your image slowly approch me
and sweetly I hear your voice

with open arms I think that you've return to me
only to find the recreater crusified
theres not one lie in the feels of a dieing creature
that from this world they say good bye

I want you to know
as you read my final letter
that even in my final moments
I need you deeply
I see your image slowly approch me
and sweetly hear your voice

with open arms I think that you've return to me
only to find the recreater crusified
theres not one lie in the feels of a dieing creature
that from this world they say good bye)
why well i'm pretty sure you can tell just by reading the lyrics .

This might change when I'm actually about to die, but I think right now I would pick... "The Velorium Camper II: Backend of Forever", by Coheed & Cambria. Coheed is definitely my favorite band ever, and this song just escalates, and is just super cool.

Deathbed by Relient K, definitely. It's a whopping 11 minutes long, but it's a great song.

This is just part of it. XD The rest of it tells the story of "his" life.

Quote:
I can smell the death on the sheets
Covering me
I can't believe this is the end

But this is my deathbed
I lie here alone
If I close my eyes tonight
I know I'll be home

Hmm... if being appropriate is the issue, I'd play "A Rose for the Dead" by Theatre of Tragedy, otherwise, I'd play any Classical music... I <3 Bach's works... :)

I have to say any song from my favorite band Linkin Park. I'd like to die enjoying one of their great songs like In The End or What I've Done.

Probably the song A Movie Script Ending by Death Cab For Cutie.
It just has such a beautiful quality that I would love it to be the last song I listen to.

Oh wow, that's hard. Lol uhm... certainly something nice and soothing... a pretty and calm melody.
Something like Yiruma's River Flows in You or something of that sort. I don't really think I'd like to die listening to some ear-bursting song lol.
