Will this event be like the halloween one? That was my first event here.

Hello, everyone.

I have no idea. I joined right after Halloween and this will be my first event. I have no idea how it's going to work. any chance I can get a short version on what's going to go on.

Well, in the Halloween event we had to collect candies (you got them from just going around the site), and then we got a riddle, and had to figure out where the ghost was hiding based on the clue...Then you traded a certain number of candies for an item. It was a bit difficult, and I didn't get the last item because I wasn't around for the weekend.

That being said. I don't know if this even is going to be similar or not...

Someone did ask in the Information Desk what the event was going to be like and the response was that its going to be like the previous events, gather an item, get a clue when the right number of items is reached and then get the event item. One EI per day.

Perhaps this will be collecting candycanes...or little presents! :3 Whee I can't wait...I really lked the Halloween Event and if this is similiar, it's going to be so much FUN FUN FUN.

I hope it isn't too Christmas exclusively oriented. Grrr... I only do these events because I don't have anything better to do (I'm an atheist, and I DO NOT CELEBRATE ANY HOLIDAYS. Not even non-religious holidays, except for the occasional birthday...) I hope the items we have to collect are a bit neutral.

Candy Canes would be cute, though. And they taste good. Makes me wish I had some of those nice blueberry flavored ones to munch on...

I'm trying to squeeze in finishing my chores and eating and such before it starts so I'll be there from the beginning <3

Hmmm. I haven't looked. I don't really... well, scratch that really. I DON'T go shopping much at all, and I avoid stores like the plague when it's around a holiday, especially Christmas. *shudders at the thought of being around so many people who are only buying gifts for people because it's Christmas, and they think they have to.* No offense to people who are into Christmas, I'm not trying to start a fight about it, just stating my opinion. :)

Candy canes would be nice but honestly, I am hoping for a Santa hat, no idea why, I would just really like one ^^; I know the items are going to be cool, Halloween was great. I somehow managed to luck out and be told I didn't have to work today so I'm here for the opening.

Not sure where to hit first though, the Special Event Shop or the forum and get talking with people ^^

So how much longer? Like a half an hour? Or is it an hour and a half?

Anywho.. i just made everyone cookies for the holidays.....shopping just leads you standing at the store staring at it then kinda freaking out about. 'OMG I DONT KNOW WHAT GET THEM !!' then running around the store.. then.. forgetting what ur doing and walking out to go find food....lols

My father's a truck driver, also. I haven't seen that guy in a long time (my choice, I refuse to speak to him).

And, yes, the items for the male avatars aren't nearly as nice as for female avatars. It's just like Gaia in that way. Eh, whatever. The items are nice, though, just not great. I've got a male outfit in my inventory, I like to switch between the two...

Now, on the subject of Santa hats... That would be kind of boring, wouldn't it be? Not too original, either. Maybe one thats only like 50gold in the event shop, or something like that. It might get people in the spirit, but me being me, I wouldn't really appreciate the item at all if it was an event item that you have to earn. I'd just sell it, or save my whatever we have to collect for the next day's item...

Original, no but I think its almost an unwritten rule to have Santa hats during a Christmas Event. It as a shop item would be nice so you get to choose, the Halloween event items were pretty original. I don't know, maybe antlers or snowflakes (like how there were ghost kitties).

Actually, I prefer a lot of the male items...>.> Cursed non-unisex rules...

Candy canes, Santa hats, candles...um...oh, come on, anything red, green, and white would be awesome. XDD With some golds, too, yes.
