I was so close to killing a cashier today...what a night. And a 2-10:30 shift, too.

  • Oof, that is a rough shift.
Sounds like my typical Saturday schedule, two shows of whatever musical happens to be playing. Complete pain in the butt.

  • ..Oliver >.<
This is a theatre in Tennessee xD
Professional productions, but we hardly ever do anything fun.
The next one is Peter Pan, which shouldn't be too bad, followed by Highschool Musical >.< Then Beauty and the Beast this summer.

Ah, lucky enough I've been to avoid the HSMusical craze. Wow, did that sound like Yoda or what?

So, Librarian...I think I'm gonna truncate that to Libra. If you don't mind. You're a bibliophile?

  • Dewey decimal? Do we ever! <3
Historical fiction, urban horror, urban fantasy, fantasy satire, political satire, linguistics, theology, philosophy, anthropology, theatrical arts, glass arts, biographies, horror short stories (very particular about those), various poetry anthologies (extremely obsessed with William Blake currently)

Basically, I'll try anything once n.n

Urban fantasy...Have you tried Holly Black or Mercedes Lackey yet? Fantasy satire...Hm, I'll have to think how to define that. Poetry--remind me to dig up Neal Bailey's stuff from my room for you.

  • I read Tithe, it wasn't..that spectacular. I felt like it was a bit young for me, then again, I went to the Caitlin R. Kiernan/Simon Green school of urban fantasy/horror, so I'm spoiled.
Mercedes Lackey is love <3 I lover her elementals books, and the 500 kingdoms ones are rather cute as well.

Neal Bailey, eh? Please do n.n

Mercedes Lackey is totally love. One of the best arguements I ever had was about how to pronounce one of her character's names...

Neal Bailey...here is one of his clean works. He gets raunchy at times.

  • D: I always get in that fight!
Have you read any Terry Pratchett? He's like, my favorite author EVER.

Oh, and raunchy doesn't bother me xD After working my way through Poppy Z. Brite's Love in Vein collections, I'm pretty sure there isn't anything out there left to blow my mind.
Well, that and I've read all the Merry Gentry books >.> That last one was all sexsexsexsex small scene! sexsexsexsex. Puh-lease, lady. Grow up D<

Have read some Prachett. If I had to pick a fave author, Spider Robinson would win. Sci-fi with humor and humanity.

Oy, don't mention Merry Gentry. If you like some of the Anita Blake books, try Kim Harrison's work.

  • Sci-fi and I have a love/hate relationship.

Anita..meh. I got sick of her really freakin' fast. Kim Harrison is all right, although her hollows books just keep getting darker it seems. They've lost the bitter sense of humor they had originally.
