You did FRQ 5? Nodody did five at my school! I did 3 and 4, though.

It went well for me . . . but, I don't want to guess on how well I did.

I considered doing four, but I really, really, really love babbling about Roosevelt. It quite makes my day.

Almost no one in my class did FRQ number 5 either. It was me, a kid who knows history better than he knows his own name, and a good friend of Pet's and mine. Almost everyone did FRQ 3, though, I think primarily because very few people thought that the colonial U.S. was going to be on an essay question.

Spanish settlement I know perfectly well. One you get to the anglo-saxon European colonization, though, my geographical lines get kinda fuzzy.


I don't want to guess how well I did, either-- likely poorly. But I really enjoyed it, which is the key thing. I actually get a huge kick out of timed essays. I'm concerned that it's a weird manifestation of either insanity or latent masochism.

There were two questions that shouldn't have been on the test due to the time-frame . . .

Oooh-- are you referring to the one question that was more recent history? I believe I got that right, though mainly because I paid attention to politics at an early age.

I actually don't know the rules regarding time-frame for history knowledge on the AP test. I'm hideously uninformed. What are the restrictions?


I'm rather relieved now. I've got stuff that I probably should read for English. The reprieve from history will be lovely. :)

They technically aren't supposed to ask questions after 1995.

I have a friend spending the night tonight. Had I not already stayed up almost all night last night, I would stay up reading while she slept so as to have a chance at winning a competition I'm in with another friend. As it is, I'm not sure how I'm going to finish The Grapes of Wrath with Mother's Day celebrations this weekend. :stare:
