I don't like to use makeup.. and I don't really care if others use it..I mean my sister and my cousin uses it and I don't care a bit.. But I personally think that those people who puts WAY too much makeup..makes them look like someone they're not..they are trying WAY too hard! I think makeup is a way to make yourself look like your "fake" self..

I've never really found it to be a priority of whether or not a girl wears make-up.
It's one of those things I tend to overlook.

I know in some cases it can improve the way they look, or how they fel they look towards others, so I don't really have a preference. Either or works fine for me.

xD I don't mind getting kissed with lipstick'd lips.
So long as none of the lipstick ends up inside my mouth, because I've had that happen before (Frenching x3), and it left a really nasty taste in my mouth xD

some people just prefer the natural look rather than the artificial one. and some makeup can actually destroy your skin rather than fix it.

Make up is the bane of my face.

Actually, it's not that dramatic. I simply prefer not to wear make-up. At all. I feel like make-up is a mask that many girls wear to hide their insecurities behind. I'm proud of how I look. I may not be beautiful beyond compare, but I don't want to hide what nature gave me.

I've worn make-up very seldom, and only to very "important" situations. I wore make-up for my Senior graduation pictures, and the graduation ceremony. I wore make-up to my Junior and Senior Proms. And honestly, that's about it. Otherwise, make-up is such a hassel to put on.

I'm such a lazy person, but if I don't have to wake up early to "paint my face on", so much the better. It seems like so much work and money to fix up on your face, only to wash it away at the end of the day. I guess I'm a real penny-pincher.

For everyday wear, I'll put on mascara and a very small amount of eyeliner.
(There's nothing worse than girls who wear too much eyeliner!)

For night-time wear, I'll go for tinted moisturiser (never foundation), blush, mascara, eyeliner, eye-shadow to match my outfit, and sometimes lipstick.

I think the thing with face makeup (not eye makeup or lipstick) is that it only looks good if no one can tell you're wearing it.
If people can see a line where your foundation stops, or your face is a different colour to the rest of your skin, you're not doing yor makeup properly, and you look bloody awful.

But with eye-shadow and sometimes lipstick, you can be a bit more daring and go for brighter colours, especially if it's a special occasion.

I hardly wear make Up. I will wear light eye shadow and chap stick or lip gloss and thats about It.

Too much make up Would be like my 13 year old sister. when she was 11 putting on bright bright bright blue eye shadow that coverd her whole eye.

I laughed and told her to wash It off and I showed her how much to put on.

to me too much make up on a girl should be when other people can see It. I put on make up really light to where you cant wear It. My 6 year old cousin when she was 3 tryed to put make up on so I tought her and her older sister how to put make up on and what not..

i don't wear makeup that often, but when i do, all i really like is a little mascara and lip gloss. my complexion is good enough, so i don't need foundation and blush.

I like makeup. Generally I will wear foundation or powder to even out my skin tone, eyeliner, and mascara if nothing else, 'though usually I'll also wear either eyeshadow or lipstick. I usually prefer to play up my eyes and do a nude lip. And I'll wear a bit of blush sometimes too, since I'm really pale and can look a bit ill without it. I never look overly made-up though, and often the only thing you can tell I'm wearing is the eyeliner.

I don't wear any make-up mostly because I don't have any things to do it, I wouldn't have time to do it and I don't know what my mom will think about it.
And I feel like~ it's better if I don't wear any make-up and look like I look like than wear make-up and one day don't have time (or something like that) to put it on and make everyone around surprised because of how I look without it x.x

Although NOW I have make-up, which my best friend made me because of our small today's performance and I haven't washed it yet... Simply because I LOVE the way I look like now x3

I wear make-up at times. I like to keep a variation of make-up and natural so that people don't get used to seeing me with it on.

There are some girls who wear make-up every day, and the first time they come to school without it, they seriously look like monsters. It's disgusting.

So for me, people aren't used to it. I ask sometimes, and they say "No, you look the same everyday." which I suppose is a good thing.

I do wear eyeliner, mascara, and usually chapstick. On occasion, I'll wear a bright white under my eyes to high light when my eyes are dark and I look sleepy. Please note that I wear make-up in small doses. I don't like piling it on.

I love makeup, the creativity it gives you to look how you want to show your artistic side. As for what makeup I wear I worship eyeliner that stuff is the most magical of all makeup, I get that in every color I can find. I love my neon green. I were lipstick mostly just bright red, purple, and grey. And of course CoverGirl coverup. As for the brand most of my makeup besides the cover up is Sharpie. That stuff works great, you get amazing details and it doesn't wipe off, you gotta use rubbing alcohol.
As for the guys wearing makeup why the hell not, some guys look better with a little black eyeliner.

How much makeup is too much makeup?
Personally you can't have too much because you never know what you are going to need for each situation, it's always good to change it up and be creative. There is nothing wrong with being different.

I don't really care for make-up on a girl, but if there is I guess just the basics, like foundation and natural tones and that. I think natural beauty is far better then any type of cosmetics.

I'm really surprised by how many people think girls should wear make up. Calling it a proven fact women look better with it? Wow.

I haven't worn make up in years. I'm nearing 20. Never once in my life have I been called ugly, or had anyone say that you look better with make up on. I'm not perfect, my skin isn't perfect - but thus far it has never stopped someone ( strangers included ) from coming up to me and offering a compliment. I've learned over the years that sexy and beautiful are two different things, and that being beautiful as just myself has earned me a lot more respect from others than trying to ``spruce my face`` with dyed animal fat and chemicals.

I think make up is complete garbage.

I wear a lot of makeup. I'm not ashamed to say I'm the Elvira of the tan white women. I usually like to play with red and gold and blue, but my ultimate favorite in shocking makeup is just a plan black.
The blush is always dramatic and the lips basically look like the promotional photos for MAC.

So yeah. I do my makeup like a drag queen.

With that said, thats really just how much makeup I'm used to putting on. My grandmothers always put on makeup, my mom was the amazing 1980's pocket goth and I don't see why I shouldn't explore with makeup, either. This may not be the same philosophy other girls carry, its just one view.

I think its just the freedom of expression, the choice between red lipstick and chapstick. Boys can wear guyliner if they want to, and some of them would do well with foundation.

make-up?? IWWY! it makes me uncomfortable.. but i prefer light make-up,, hnn,, yes i wear light make up during special ocassion.. heavy-make-up? THAS GROSS XD

I totally hate makeup. I know it is a necessary evil for many people who have things that need covered up, but I personally hardly ever wear it. Maybe 2 times a year approximately. For my wedding day I only wore foundation for the pictures because my cheeks are always so rosy. I have actually been told I was wearing too much blush, when in fact I was wearing none at all. XD I think most people either don't know how to apply makeup or they just overdo it so its not very appealing to me. Also a lot of it is not good for you skin and I have sensitive skin so I can't wear a lot of it anyway. As far as guys go, I don't really care for makeup on guys. Of course if you are a performer or actor that is a little different. Other than the play I am doing, I won't be wearing any makeup for any other reason. =P

well, i don't wear much makeup...i pretty much just wear lip gloss, chapstick...that kind of basic stuff. the girls at my middle school wear tooooo much makeup, they remind me of clowns >.<;

I used to totally hate make-up, but currently I'm fine with it, just not all the time. I generally would only wear mascara or eyeliner as a regular thing, though I do it rarely.

I am a girl. And I rarely wear make up. Some days I do when I get bored or something. I wear eye-liner, mascara, eyeshadow and some lipgloss. XD
I think girls who wear TOO much make-up looks really bad. Especially when they wear weird colored eye shadows like white or baby blue. Looks weird. AND UGLY.

The only makeup I ever wear is eyeliner and occasionally eyeshadow. Course, I don't want whoever's kissing me to be wearing lipstick or lip gloss cause it feels..weird.

I'm a girl and I love wearing make-up. I always wear foundation and thick black eyeliner. Sometimes I'll do designs with the eyeliner, even cover a good part of the area around my eyes. I like lipstick some of the time, bright red and black are my favorites, but doing a checkerboard pattern with silver and black, or red and black is really cool. Eyeshadow is fun to mess with, bright colors, or just plain black is the best. I like using thick black mascara, then tipping my lashes silver. That looks really neat. all in all, i like make-up, but it is not a nessasary thing. You don't need make-up to look good, it's just fun, and very expressive. By the way, guys look great in at least eyeliner, sometimes more, depending on the guy.
