Well, you never know about the future so I'm not sure whether I'll be best friends with the people I'm best friends with today. I'd like to think that we'd be best friends and go to the same school and be roommates and all that, but it's not like that's my ultimate dream.
People just change over the years, so your friends become different.
I have a friend who was my best buddy in 1st grade, but moved to another neighborhood. We kept in touch until 2nd grade, where we just suddenly stopped writing letters. We ended up in the same middle school, however, but never talked or anything. We were just so different by then. I don't really miss her though, since I feel like I don't even know her anymore...
Anyways, good luck with your friend!

One of my friends I know i+I will be with her forever because we have so many things in common. We never fight so I don't see how the future will affect anything.

However, I see my other friends and I breaking up. We have different life goals so I see it going nowhere.

I've only been best friends with my current bestie for about 6 months, maybe less. ^^;

I really do hope that we remain that way, in terms of interests we are close to polar opposites. I find it fun in a challenging way. n_n
I think this is the only friendship I have put a lot of effort into, she's a sweet girl, I don't feel like losing her anytime soon.

In the future, I only see myself talking to about 10 of my current friends. :[

i have a few best friends that i care about =) though they can sometimes act like ure nobody...but i still wish that they'd appreciate me somehow...
im the kind of a person who cares about friends more than siblings sometimes >.<
i feel like i can only share things with them sometimes...eventhough they might not feel the same as i do, but i still hope that we will still contact each other in future..seeing that this year is my last year of school =)
if i see them somewhere, i would definitely greet them ^-^ eventhough they might not...

Love says yes, because so far it has been happening. Love has had this friend named megan for eight years. That's awhile if you haven't picked that out already. haha

I don't have "best friends." I have good friends and acquaintances. Acquaintances are people that I see at school and sometimes hang out with outside of school. Good friends and people that I see often at school and even more often outside of school. My "good friends" and I are drifting apart simply because of life. We're all either in college or about to start college. My oldest friend (as in age) is preparing to transfer from our small town community college to a big art school a couple hours drive from here. My younger friend is in her senior year of high school. Then there's my boyfriend and me. He's planning to move all the way down to Florida and I'm not sure how that'll effect our relationship at all. And yes, I consider my boyfriend a "good friend." We've been friends since elementary school. =)

I think people change too much to stay friends forever. I like my boyfriend a whole lot, but we have little to talk about these days other than the latest video games we've played. Neither of us mind that we don't have a ton to talk about, but it does make for a lot of awkward silences. We're trying, though. That's just my personal experience, anyway. xD Not everyone is so unlucky. I think that some people can change and adapt to their friends quicker than others and that's why you sometimes see thirty year old people still friends after twenty years. =)

Well, this is the story. Because of zoning, I had to go to a different high school than all of my friends. And my bestfriend was like 'Man, we should hang out once a month, a least!' We hung out once and then I didn't hear from her until like 8 months later, which she decided she wanted her bestfriend back. I was like 'whatever, okay' and we hung out once. It's been like 5 months since that. D: She's not dependable or loyal, I don't know why I thought she would be.

I stopped giving my friends classes. It's stupid and I'm beyond it. The friend I'm closest with now is actually living in the Middle East, she's been there for 2 years and we correspond daily. We're both quite loyal and dependable, so I don't doubt that we'll be friends for years. Forever? Maybe not. But you never know.

I've known my best friend for over 10 years now (we stopped counting at 10 because that made us feel old). We've never been in the same school and we live about a half hour away from each other but its worked ^^ We met by going to violin lessons at the local community college and just managed to keep in touch since we quit, entered college, etc.

I admit, it is hard to get to see her since we're now both in different colleges, our schedules are not very compatible but it is fun when we do manage to get together even if it is every few months. Email has probably made all of this easy to manage, that and IMs cause its hard to get ahold of each other on the phone (she keeps losing her cell ><).

i think i will stay friends with Monica, as much as i hate her sometimes. xDDD i've known her for six years now, and she still acts like i first met her! xD Although she's maturing since she's getting older, and our families are close, and we live close to each other too. C: i usually laugh at her, but she's know me for such a long time that if i meant it, i wouldn't hang out with you anymore. Plus, i usually burst out laughing after i call her an idiot. xDDD We are opposites, but that's what's interesting about our friendship~ She's loud and noisy, i'm quiet and shy. xD We don't go to the same school either, but i've tried convincing her that my school is so awesome that she has to attend there. xD
i don't consider her my best friend now, but my current 'best friends' at school hates me, so i know that Monica is anyway. x]
My other friend Heidi, i believe we will stay close too. C: We are just made to be best friends! xD i dunno how else to explain it; we don't hang out a lot, but we're really, really close. C:

I've known my best friend since kindergarten, but we haven't been as close since I moved away last year.
I'm really upset about that, but I'm too stubborn to try and mend our friendship.

We get along quite well, and think on the same level. I trust her with almost anything.

She's the only person I've ever considered to be a best friend.

I really want to stay good/best friends with my current friends.. though I don't think it's possible. >< I mean, in the future, there's possibilities that we'll never see each other again.. even if we hang out and talk on the phone, I feel there's no such thing as "best friends forever". ><

I used to have a "best" friend in first grade, and I thought are friendship was going to stay good, but it didn't because her personality started changing, and so did mine... I was sad at first, but when I started talking to her again, she was a completely different person. >:

maybe even 5.

I think they just come and go for some reason. Which I hate. ='[

I hope my best friend and I are best friends forever. Even if both us have our own quirks that makes us fight, a lot.

I new her for like three years, only. Ha.
But we're like telepathically chained together and it's really funny.

I'm never going to grow up! No matter how much people insisted I do. I don't she would either. Ya, I guess we could be room-mates. We need to be, she's so, hopeless. She doesn't cook, she doesn't do her own laundry... Just because she took the time to go to driver's ed and is expecting her license soon, don't mean anything to me, if all you know how to cook is shitty eggs. Besides, I'm going to take driver's ed in the spring.

My best friend's name is Christina; what a dick-head she is.
