Please try to fill in the places where I go [ bla bla ] for me, and help me make it work ^^'

So, in my story a woman who suddenly gets a lot of money from a lucky job opens up an orphanage [ I dont know how to find a reason for this, help? Maybe in her past she promised someone that she would? ] her son scouted for children who were left on the street to take into the orphanage [ she let him do this because she wanted him out of the house, does this make sence? ] he finds a girl, takes her to the orphanage, and the woman names her Kimu. Later when they are 15, Kimu and the boy take jobs to help/fund for the orphanage [ can they, and what jobs can they take? ]

I think thats it for now, Ill try my best to sort the rest out somehow @ [email protected]

Let's see:

Maybe the woman herself was an orphan? Or lived in a foster home/half way house for part of her life? If she knew how hard it was for young children to get through life without her parents, she might be more likely to try to help them out as much as she could.

Or perhaps she's just the bleeding hearts type - She's watched Little Orphan Annie one too many times, and now has some romanticized idea of orphans in her head. She wants to 'save' them and become some kind of hero. Or in another spin, maybe she used to be some kind of cold-hearted stock broker type who wanted to prove to her colleagues that she's not all business, so she opened the orphanage to show her warmer, more caring side.

About her son - Maybe she herself couldn't get the trust of the kids on the street. She's too old, or she just didn't understand them, etc. They might be able to trust someone closer to their own age, so she sent out her son. You'd just have to make sure that the boy is old enough to be logically doing all this on his own.

As for other jobs - Teenagers can start charity programs at their school, do penny drives or clothing drives, or even just help organize volunteers to work at the orphanage. Just think of all those kids you usually see on the news.

Or it could be all of that combined! Oh my god I love you xD You have no idea of the inspiration you just gave me.

I wanted the son to be around 10 or so, and 15 when he opens up programs for the orphanage. Since 18 is when they get released from the orphanage right? [ I want him to do it with another orphan, but then again, she could take a job at the orphanage, and he is family so...] Hauu... @[email protected] So 10 should be fine, I guess. [ logically? I dont think towns that are meant for emotional rollercoasters are gonna be as logical as possible though, Ill try to make whatever I can though logical Dx ]

And. The town they live in is fictional so you dont have to worry about him being kidnapped or anything like that [ Mainly because the town is called Nowhere Town, and only truely sane, well, the town is a metophor for something big in my story, but my main point is that nothing would happen to the son ]

Oh and, one last thing. I swear >< Since the town is fictional, can there be random requests like delivering packages? Or...*gets a migrane*
