Well I complained earlier about my laptop screen not working. But now it is, I let is rest for a couple hours, and now... My optical mouse is malfunctioning. Its a Centrios optical mouse (Laser guided). And when I plug it in, it says USB device is not recognized. I'm using a laptop with Windows Vista. Can anyone help me out? Cause its kinda a pain using my touchpad.

Well, how old is your mouse?
I had the same problem with mine awhile ago. In the end, it was just best to throw it out and get a new one. After all, a mouse goes through a lot of use and wear.

It probably just died on you. For $20, I wouldn't have expected it to last any longer than a year anyway.
No big deal. Just head on over to your local RadioShack/Best Buy or whatever and ask for recommendations on a good mouse. They'll be happy to help you pick out a high quality one.

I have $40 which is going towards buying Guitar hero 3, so i'll just use my touchpad instead. Thank god it has one, or i'd be so screwed. I can't bare to imagine it...
