I first started playing around with shading years ago. I was rather facsinated by the fact that a subtle change in hue, shade or gradient can change a colour so completely.

I also find it facsinating how several different shades of the same colour when put together look like something as oppose to a big blob.

I love shading. I mainly like black and white though. so most of my art is done with pencil shading, or charcoals. I just find them to be so much more fun XD
when I was playing with the stuff I was doing for the pixilicious contest I was playing with shades that were really close to each other too. It was kinda hard getting them to all go in the right places. ^^;; I'm not a good pixelist. me and computer arts don't mix well. at least not yet XD

I love using pencils and charcoal! I prefer mainly lead pencils.

Although my OCD doesn't like charcoal. Gets all over my hands and then on everything I touch.

lol that's one of the reasons I like charcoal XD I like getting messy.
But I hate it if I am doing chalk pastels and they get all over the place. because they get into each other and then I have to fight to keep the colors that I want pure to be pure. >.< so hard and annoying! D:

Melody Duck (on the book forum thing): I just don't feel it's as black and white as that. If the newer thread has seven pages of intelligent posts, should it really be closed in favor of the older thread, which has two pages of "that was such a great book!"

I always thought to reserve the older thread. lol. Anyway, ask for senior's advice.

Yes there was but it was under par so I fixed it. And there were alot of changes done to the second couple of pics, just to give it a cleaner, more put together look.

Well I'm going for a full time pixelist position, and I dan't think one is available.

All I want to create some items that myself and others want to see and be able to make them into real items and get paid in Mene Gold by doing so.

This probably won't happen, but a girl can dream, can't she?

And Arc only sells the basic one at 10 or 20 gold depending on the style you choose.

Style 2 Ords are a little more complicated than Style 1, that's reason for the difference in prices.

Hmmm, that is what I am trying to figure out. :)

lol I've been thinking about getting a mood orb too. But I don't know what to make a mood of. >.< is pink a mood? :P
