Right now I feel as though my depression has taken second place to the secondary problems that are commonly assiociated with depression.

And I am having one of those days, since like the beginning of the month.

*hug* Thanks, but right now with everything that's going on i think I have the right to be depressed, but im not depressed over the stuff I should be... It's just this feeling of eatting me from the inside out that I hide behind a mask.

But it's okay, Daashi I hope you'll find something strong to hold onto

The only good thing I can think of is at least I am keeping my OCD tendancies at bay.

And hello spring, I know you have arrived with the sever hayfever I am currently suffering from.

Kind of takes the personality out of the interview process. I prefer to see what people look like in their street clothes when they come in to ask for an application or drop it off. Gives me an idea of what kind of employee I would be hiring. Is their appearance sloppy or tidy. Things like that. Not to mention, seeing their hand writing helps determine how legible they can write. Online applications just require you to have some kind of typing skill. Which is fine if you are going for an office job that requires you to know how to use a computer.
I think we as a society in general are drifting to far away from being an individual and conforming more to the mainstream masses. We don't write letters anymore, so our hand writing, which was a distinct way of identifying us is being lost. We don't even have to type out full sentences anymore with the invention of texting, people understand short hand phrases, that drives me crazy. THX is a surround sound company! Not the way you say THANKS! And what's worse, that kind of downgraded language is allowed to be used in day to day business operations at major corporations.
I have gotten several e-mails from internal clients that have Thanks, spelled out in its bastardized form of THX with a smiley face to go with it and I want to break the computer screen. How many seconds would it have taken to put in the actual 3 more letters for the full word? And it would make you look like less like a moron in my eyes. But I can't say that to them because then I wouldn't be a "sensitive" person to their style. Whatever.

*nods* Tell it like it is
I Can't stand text talk it took me for every to know what lol was or lmao >.> I still don't know if i spelled them right hehe I think you have to put more thought into Thx then you do saying thanks... Cause Thx is like you have to think about what other letters can I use to sound like thanks without spelling it out..... Mmmm *rubs chin while sipping on a nice cold beer* Mmm *hours later* mmm O no I need more beer *giggles* People just lazy and yet so mart at the sametime

Like I was reading the newspaper and this kid stole only 40dollars from a soda machine, had to cough through barb wire are a few other things, then break the soda machine to get 40dollars.... That had to take him an hour to do all this shit so no one could see him cause he did this in the daytime. We could have used at finding a job >.<

EDIT

He was just to damn lazy to go out and wear nice close and talk to people... It was just easier to map out the soda machine to rob while sipping on beer.

Where I'm at people still hire you during a face-to-face interview.

We still have face to face hirings here as well, but the whole application process is all automated now. Like you're just another name out among the other names. Kind of crazy.

How do you quit via text message? Seems like an odd way to end the relationship between employee and employer.
