  Sephy; When I was growing up, I never had video games. I didn't get my first system until I was 12. That was a SNES. I only had 3 games for it; the Mario pack, Super Kirby and Super Metroid. I was scared to play Super Metroid at the time, but now... I really don't care for the series.

It's the kids that skip school to stay home and play video games that scare me. D:

@Gamers: XD I think that's fine, Gamers. I'm just talking about the stories you hear about people who drop out of high school/college just to play World of Warcraft or Lineage II. I just want to go up to those people and slap some sense in their face. To throw up your future for a game is the lowest of the low.

I have a friend that did that. He dropped out in the second semester of senior year to play Lineage II. He turned down his 13k scholarship too. I guess that's why I kinda set donators to sites apart. It brings you closer to becoming obsessed with it. I don't mind if people buy one or two donation items to help them out a little, but when you buy it to get rich quick, that's what makes it unsettling to me.[/rant]

@Senpai: XD I remember my first system was a Nintendo 64. I didn't actually play it until I was about 9. My aunt loved to spoil the hell out of me, so I had 3 Gameboy Colors and every Pokemon game available.

I might get world of warcraft, which worries me. So if I get horrible addicted to it, I'm going to force someone to take it away from me. xD

I don't know what makes WoW so addicting. It isn't that amazing...

I know. I'm only going to play because one of my friends won't stop asking me to play. He wants me to play it with him so badly that he said he'd pay my fee. xD

  Well, WoW is the MySpace of MMOs. Reason why most gamers want it is because their friends are on it. I agree with Sephy, WoW isn't that great of a game. I've always preferred EverQuest and EverQuest 2, which were the building blocks for MMOs of today.
  

Haha pretty much, Senpai. Oh well, I guess it won't hurt to try it out.

Everquest was interesting. I was never into Western MMOs myself. I enjoyed Guild Wars for a bit.

My specialty lies in Ragnarok Online, MapleStory and so on...

I suck at online games. xD

  Gamers; If you want my advice, I say to get the 1.99 trial package from the game store if you want it. Other wise, I suggest NOT getting it.
  
  Sephy; I don't download online games, so I'm really limited to just forum game sites like Mene and Gaia.

@Senpai: Ragnarok is fun, but it's a hassle to download, because after downloading it, you need to create things to accommodate it into your computer so that it actually works. If not, it's just chunklets of data everywhere.

mumorpugers? interesting choice of topic, I myself haven't played any recently, I quite Lineage II after starting over so many times and finding no time or enjoyment out of it anymore.
