Well the main part of our land wasn't the part our house was on. Our land was like a rectangle in shape it wasn't very wide but it was long. We had our house / yard on one half of it, then on the other half was forest and this dirt road that circled around this wood plaining mill that my dad owned. it was a little mill, about the size of our house. It was all run down though. We didn't go up there much, and Never alone. If me or my sister were ever going up there we both went. It never failed, every time we would walk up there we'd either hear or see something. But it never really got to us, until one time we got the stupid idea to go up there at nite.
It wasn't like really ark out yet, the sun was just going down and we walked up the road, and got about halfway from the entrance of the road to the mill, when we saw these two things in a small cleared out area just past the mill. They were dark figures, and since it was getting dark already, we could really only see from about their head to their midsection. No details, just like two shadows. At first we just stood there trying to see if it was actually somethign or if we were just scaring ourselves.
It didn't take long for us to find out though. We stood there for what felt like about 3 minutes, before those shadows started getting closer. Once they started coming towards us, we ran back down to our house. Normally, we'd never go back up there. But its like that place was addicting. It and the stories that went with it. Most we had to figure out for ourselves, but its like once we did everything started to link up.

@Rad - Baja's good, how are you?

CS2 doesn't work too well on Vista anymore, I have problems with my Photoshop CS2, so I need to seriously get myself CS3 of that as well.

I've only had a trial version of CS2 so far. I realy liked it though, so I'm seeing if I can get a used copy of it.

From what I've seen so far, CS3 is a lot better than CS2.
And I just hope that it really will be better, since CS2 isn't very Vista friendly. (like anything is Vista friendly)

  • Baja; Oh my. Well, on Ghost Hunters both Jay and Grant said that the night is when there is the highest amount of paranormal activity. Too bad you can't go back there. I would have suggested taking an audio recorder and ask questions to them. Or, to even take a 35mm throw-away camera and take snap shots of the areas. What you may or may not see in person will come up on Sometimes, ghost just want to communicate with the living. Only poltergeist, demon spirits and inhuman spirits want to attack a living being.

Well, I could go back. My dad still lives there. I could go visit, but I don't know if I could summon up the courage to go back up there.
I don't talk about this part much, but my sister and I saw what looked like little children up there once. Only, they were transparent.
Also what happened to my dad one nite.
He was up there by himself. He was inside the mill thing, he used to use it for a workshop too, until part of it fell down and he built a workshop in our back yard to use instead.
He was in the mill, working on something, and he heard what sounded like a woman outside the door screaming 'Help Me'. So, he thinks, someone needs help, and he opens the door, like anyone would. And he doesn't see anything. But he looked down at the dirt and there are two smaller footprints there, like someone had been standing there.
My sister said that shook him up for a few days. That happened the first time I lived with my mom, before I got stupid and moved back in with my dad.

I've never had any personal encounters with ghosts or paranormal activity like that.

@Rad - I've had them all my life. Its like I told Senpy, every house I move in something happens. I either see stuff or hear stuff. You get used to it after a while.

  • Oh my. I can see why that would spook him. Some times ghosts don't know that they are in a time loop, or even aware of time itself and just continue to repeat the same things over and over.

If I hear or see something, it's a mouse.
And it scares me just as much as if it were a ghost. xD

  • Xuv; CS3 is Photoshop for Vista users. It comes with a whole bunch of crap. But XP users are use it as well.

That makes sense.
My sister and I always believed something bad happened up there. See down at our house not too much stuff ever happened. There used to be this shadow at this certain tree in our front yard, it would look like the shadow was coming from one of the limbs of the tree and the shadow would be on the ground. It would basically look like a person hanging.
Though, after a long while the shadow went away. After it did my sister and I found something up in our woods that we had never seen before. it was an old rope, soo old it looked like touching it would break it. It was tied very tightly around the limb of one of the trees, and looked like one of the ends had been broken off, or well cut, but not cut very well, maybe by a knife or something a long time ago.
We always felt that tree had some connection to the shadow, but were never really sure.

  • In that sense, there could have been a time where an individual hung himself or was hung for whatever reason. The hanging itself could have gone wrong, or the individual thought otherwise about his/her death. Thus the cutting. When there is a strong emotional attachment to a thing, person, whatever... when the person dies, part of their existence, or spirit is attached to said object.
  • Rad; Maybe it moved on? Or it died...
