Cons around here aren't very common, sadly. There was only one in the area and I was busy at the time. >< But if I ever did go, you can count that I'd dress up as Light or L. <3

Man, I need to reread my Death Note manga, though I don't remember where it went^-^;

I feel like more and more people are dressing in regular like clothes rather than the elegant outfits. I am not sure what I like better. Also seem to find many from Death Note because of this.

yeah.. I'm more into more detailed and difficult outfits :3 they show skill.

this time I have a prett simple outfit though, but that's because of the lack of time and money xP

I would have tried something more difficult, but I just couldn't figure out what to do. Maybe as time goes on my avatar costume will get a little more detailed with some extra stuff on it.

I just started resuming work on my costume last night ^^ Unfortunately...I LOST THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR PUTTING THE PATTERN TOGETHER so I need to buy a new copy of it T_T BUT on the other hand, I started on me & Digital Kakashi's POTC whores costumes ^^...actually...all I did was cut our patterns out.

Hehe I've started cutting out the pattern for my boyfriend's coat as well. So hooray for making progress!

nice, I am doing the stuff out of there original material, like actually having someone hand knit rinoa's oufit, I know that seems insane but I want it that way. Also I find simple outfits are not always easier, I would prefer the heartless fun outfit that was a ball head idea, over making a coat,just because I am more into it. Also I wish I could be a heartless during cons but no one to be there with, and yeah, huge convention and all, with keyblades and a full head on, it might be hard.

I prefer what I would be proud of over anything else in cosplay ideas.

I have figured out what my avi outfit is gonna look like for the next con I go to on my Gaia account. I'm gonna be all red and colorful looking^-^

That would be a bit hard for me, for I don't have anywhere near my avi on gaia or here, and so it seems odd. I have long brown hair in real life, here it is silver, and same idea in gaia. I think I will be happy just cosplaying people from anime and video games.

I changed my hair on Gaia to match my hair in real life. Though, my hair's shorter and doesn't go into a ponytail very well. Though, it should grow out more by the end of March.

If anyone else is going to San Diego Comic Con, my friend and I are hosting the Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts gatherings. I have no idea what days they are though but they'd be located in front of Ballroom 20. This is like...the fourth year we'd be doing this.

I wish I could go, Marguerite. Maybe next year^-^

I would love to go, for I have both final fantasy and kingdom hearts outfits, but I would have to fly out there, and not really having the money to be able to do that. Otherwise I would love to go, it is a pity though, i don't know anyone who goes to the same cons as me, or the one I use to go to, that is on mene other than my friends. I think it would be cool to meet someone online at a con. I did that with an artist on deviant that I liked.

I'm still not sure if I'm going to go to this next con.. I don't have money for it anymore.. D:

Do you mean like, no money to pay for the reg, or just no money for when you get there? I guess it depends on what you like doing best when you're actually at a convention I suppose. If part of the fun is buying things, and if you dont then it will be less fun, then I would say to probably miss it. But if the best part for you is the cosplay and atmosphere, and you can pay the entry fee, then I don't see why you shouldn't go.

no moneys to pay the cost of the trip to my friend.. we would be using her car. it still costs a lot to drive 200km and we always share the expenses.

I cosplay every time I go to a con. there's one coming up in Chicago called acen. which is the one I'm going to. I'm going to be dressing up as sakura from card captors..harder outfit then normal.

I've been anna, from shaman king and I've been neu from elfin lied, and I've been ratical edward from cowboy bebop.

the costumes aren't really that hard to make expecially the one you're doing. it's mainly normal clothes with a little bit of extra things such as the hair and the kitties. you'll need to just buy normal clothes that match and then with the hair fine siver hairspray at a party store and then put it up in red clothed pigtails. as for the cats, you may be able to find a stuffed animal that looks like them or you may have to make them.

Ooooh... that's a tough one since you have to drive a long way to get there. =X I dunno then. It's a pretty tough sounding choice.

1. What are some cosplays you've always wanted to do, but because the costume is super elaborate or would look better in a group, so you haven't done yet?
-Fatal Frame II twins. However, I got a friend to finally be the other twin and not to mention we also have a Sae and Yae :3. Another is Harley Quinn. I would just prefer a Batman villain group or someone to at least be a Joker.

2. What are seom cosplays you've always wanted to do and just haven't gotten to yet, but plan to do?
-One's a secret >_>, but another is Cynthia Velasquez/Victim 16(Silent Hill 4). I wanted her to be my first costume, but wasn't and I was going to be her at the last con but didn't feel like making it.


In other news, I'm still deciding whether to get a wig or dye my hair for one of my next cosplays D:. I've always wanted to go blonde, but I have dark brown hair, that's been dyed, and I'm told I may have to get it bleached twice. My hair is okay, but I'm afraid I'll kill it by doing that. I'd plan to get it professionally done though! But that would would drain me(I'm poor)
