The comic book is very different though, from what I've heard at least.
I remember that the creator was disappointed in the movie because it romanticized "V" too much.

I love the line in that movie...

Late to answer I know but,
Yeah I read a few things at once, it helps that they are all from different genres. Like, Eclipse and Portrait...are completely different. Also the Weir book is a text book, and a bit hard to digest, so I only read it when I am feeling up to a challenge. Don't forget too, I am listening to Isabella on my Ipod, so it counts but sort of not.

Listening to a book was hard at first and I tend to listen to books that have lots of bulk to them, so if I get lost it get repeated. I never would have been ablt to read Emma by Austin, but it was a wonderful thing to listen to when I went to the gym.

Once I tried to read two novels about Anne Boleyn at the same time, that failed horribly.

@padfoot - technically, it is a juv fiction novel, about 8-12. but it is a scary story. the graveyard book is turning out to be a little freaky as well, but i expect nothing less from gaiman.

@spring - it's not your fault. dani thinks i haven't watched p&p for a while, but, in fact, i have that and iron man on a never ending loop in my video player. XD
(good combination, i know. xp)
augh, i have the same problem. at the rate i'm going at now, i have enough unread books to last me a few years.

@cherry - you can read a little bit on google books and see how you like the writing style. there are pages missing, so you won't be able to read the whole book, but it's there.

@shadow - you know, i kind of hate you right now. because now i need to watch some supernatural. i mean seriously. he screamed at a cat. that's my kind of show.

@bishie - it was amazing. AMAZING. much love, yes.
i only got the comics because that was the only sort of thing i could think of liking at the time. when the anime-ted show was on cartoon network. x3
oh justice league. i would watch the show when i got bored, but i actually got a little interested in it. especially with the alien guy and green lantern. x_x

@guivre - i did exactly that just a few nights ago and haven't read the comics, but i do most certainly plan to get v. not so much 300. it was one of those deals where i couldn't stop laughing at it. just like i couldn't stop laughing at twilight.

@jenova - i do believe my favourite parts of the movie were the exploding things and v fighting with his knives and they did that shwoom motion thing. (sorry for being retarded with english?)

ps.
omg. you guys have no clue how much i freaked when i found this. squee.

Oh yes, I love the movie. I was merely bringing up the fact that the creator man hated the movie.
I enjoyed V cooking breakfast, and then Stephen Fry also cooking breakfast. =3 I love Sir Fry.

i agree, the movie was pretty awesome. i just have a thing for violence and destruction? XD
and v and stephen fry cooking was hilarious, though i believe v cooking was moreso than fry. the fact that it was hugo weaving made it even more hysterical. x3

ps.
there is a twilight ad in my madame xanadu comic. nuuuuu...
and it's not even a good one, it's just the picture of bella and rpattz. the one that looks like it was badly photoshopped. ;_;

therefore, he was perfect. XD

I've nearly finished Little Green Man by Simon Armitage, even more encouragment for me to actually read his autobiography. It's currently at the bottom of the pile of books by my bed poor thing.

I thought the film V for Vendetta was an alright but the characters were all a little too easy to feel sorry for. Nobody beats up Stephen Fry and lives though, I'll take them out myself. XD

You're welcome;) It is a great show.

Also, you made me freak out. I love Elfquest. I have the entire original set of comics, plus a few of the secondary series, and some of the books.

Neat, I hadn't seen that yet. But I've really ignored Elfquest for the last 5 years.

I really did love the fandom way back when, though.

@kat - i winced when they clubbed him. it was upsetting. D:

@shadow - |D yay. elfquest junkies.
i borrowed the first four or five volumes of the grand quest original collection volumes from the library. i have some of the reprints from a couple years ago, but dc doesn't have the rights anymore, so no more reprints. :[
so i found the site and was EXCITED.

@GrayNoodle: It'd being going better if the person who borrowed the next three books of the series I'm reading would kindly return them to the library so I could get them. T_T

Also, yay and Annette Curtis Klaus fan! Blood and Chocolate was my favorite by her. Which one of hers did you like best

@GrayNoodle: I was going to start the sixth book in the Anita Blake: Vampire hunter series... but apparently someone else in my town is reading it (very slowly I might add). So I'm stuck staring at my large pile of unread books, with no desire to read them right now. T_T

Back when the movie for Blood and Chocolate was coming out I decided to read it, then I got hooked and read a few more of her books (stealing a few from my friends). Did you happen to see the movie for it?

I think that if you want to watch the movie and read the book, you have to watch the movie first. xD
That's just me, and the fact that when I watched the movie again after reading the book, it SUCKED. xD

Whoot, did I get Rainy in here on accident? : D

@GrayNoodle: I prefer reading the books first sometimes. I tend to see them as totally different pieces of entertainment, though if someone asks I can compare them but usually they are in different universes in my mind.
Except B&C, they changed that so much my brain tried to implode. I watched it a my mouth fell open. I was like "They made who the bad guy?" "She ran off with him?" "Wasn't that person supposed, to you know be alive?"

Also Welcome GrayNoodle and Rainbows! (I'm a little slow today)
