I'm waiting for Swallowing Darkness and Jennifer Government.
I wouldn't usually mind but whoever has Swallowing Darkness is reading just ahead of me for both of Laurell K. Hamilton's series. So I've had to wait weeks in between some books, all because this person is a slow reader. I check the library website everyday, it's a little sad. xD

THANK GOD YOU DON'T HAVE TO BLOW IN GAMES ANYMORE. THANK YOU, INVENTOR OF THE CD-R. THANK YOU SO HARD.

You know it's actually really bad to blow in those games. Because the saliva will corrode the things that make it work. Either use regular rubbing alcohol (diluted about 10% with water) or get electronic contact cleaner. The second is much better for it, but it's uber expensive. I still do it only occasionally when I'm too hyped up to worry about it and I just want to play. But these are what's BEST for it.

Ooh, this seems like an awesome idea. [Yeah, just saw this. xD]
It reminds me of my sister's goal for last summer. Same amount, but only the summer. She finished 68 books. :]
Hm, maybe I'll try this? Summer maybe. :]

Just wanting to know...cause it's an amazing book.

Really? My N64 has always worked hassle-free. Even now, I can just pop a game in and go.

Yeah, I've heard that. And we do have a cleaning kit around here somewhere. But you can't get that INSIDE the system itself, just the cartridge. And with my nes, it's usually the system that needs it. (No clue how dust gets in there...)

Dream: When I returned The Wolves in the Wall the woman behind the counter put a note in it with the names of one of the other libraries in the city on so I assume it was getting sent there. I'd had it out for 3 weeks but I returned it at the same time as five other books and I don't see the point of making six trips. I hope that person didn't think it took me three weeks to read a picture book. ^^;

It's because of the slits in the sides that make room for the door to open, Cherry. After a while dust particles just settle there.

@Kat: I know there's perfectly acceptable explanations for why this person is taking forever getting the book back to the library. It's just I really want to read it. This is why I don't usually do libraries, I tend to get needy with the books and want them when I want them and not when they are available.

My library has the most incredible way of getting books in just after I've bought them because they didn't have them. They've done it twice since I started this challenge. -_-
I tend to get annoyed more often because I think there's books a library should have especially in the Classics section.

Same here. I think we have a Classics section, but it's a little small.
Someone recommended Patricia Briggs and I went to get her books, but my library only has the second book in one of hers series. That's it, nothing else. :shakes fist at library:

Yeah, I guess you're right. In the end, it gets you to read, and that, in itself, is a victory.

Exactly. ^_^
@Anyone who cares: I just finished 'Vampire Stories from the American South.'
It wasn't fantastic. Only a handful were actually good, and of those only one or two were interesting enough to make me go "Ooo, I wonder what would have happened next?"

I care! :'D
So, was it was of those collection of stories type of thing? It doesn't surprise me, since I can't imagine Southern Vampires being very interesting. Unless they don't stereotype them, that is. O:

Woo someone cares! xD
Yes it was a collection of stories. It's not that the vampires were southern (though most were set in the south), the author's were Southern writers. Because apparently southern people are a completely different breed of writer. o_O? I really didn't see this 'southern' writing style, other then I was bored with most of them.

You can organize your list however you like, just limit it to one post. :yes:
And if it turns out that you did post one and I just missed it, sorry. :oops:
Give me a poke if you create a new one and I don't add it to the Master List within a few days.

aahhhh i went away~~~~ approximately 50 episodes of bleach in three days. @[email protected];;;
i haven't read anything except subtitles in DAYS.
and i only came back now because ukitake and hitsugaya just went into the court's library and it reminded me of you guys. 8D
omg, you guys have no clue how many screencaps i've taken.
most of them for matsumoto cosplay reference. XD
and i did take some of nemu, dani.
but watching all this bleach has given me a chance to work on something i've had and hadn't touched since i got it so many years ago (at least 2-5, maybe more)
A LATCH-HOOK RUG!
it's about a square foot picture of a cat and i'm partway through the 10th row out of 40. yay.
OF TO WATCH MORE DRAMA THAN A TAIWANESE DRAMA~
@old game discussion - nnnn~ n64~~~
the oldest system i have is a gameboy color but the oldest big system i have is ps2. :[
ps2, xbox, wii, and 360. and gb color, advance, sp, and ds.
final fantasy... i want to play but i have no patience for turn-based rpgs.
i have 12, but i'm stuck fighting the judge on the airship ;_;
&& kingdom hearts... i've managed to finish the second, but not the first and they are both still bothering me that i haven't found everything. i may go back and replay them sometime.
@kat - the milk and sugar phrase is overused by hookers in media, that's why. >:[
weird stuff in books ftw. i can't remember anything i got in my books off the top of my head. :/
although i have found long-lost bookmarks in some of my books that i had put away a while ago.
@shadow - yaaaaay the mulan book. :]

Leenie - PS2 is the oldest big system you have? DDDDD: *slapslapslap* GET A SNES, WOMAN!
Ooogh, don't judge FF on the new ones. They're not as fun. Get 9 or 8! They're amazing.
I actually prefer turn-based attacks. If it's more "realistic" and just free attacking, I freak out and don't have time to think about what move would be best and I just die. ;-;
