I have just joined as many of you can see. I find this very intriguing and it is good enough motivation to get started on reading the things I've been putting off reading.

So.... I guess the only thing I do to join is post up stuff that I have read and keep on updating it.

-feels so awkward- OTL

Yeah, we're going to have to get more bookcases before they'll all fit somewhere though...

Hallo tripleb. What sort of things have you been putting off reading?

Feyona: I only have one bookcase in my bedroom but there's books on top of books and in front of books as well as piles of books on/around it. I will probably cry when I get to university and have a single shelf on the wall. >.<

+ Going to Waterstones was an experience today. I couldn't get near the comics/graphic novels for two Australian men talking about X-Men

Quote:
"So he's dead?"
"No he was buried for five years before they dug him up and found out he was alive."
"How did he live in a grave for five years?"
"Because he's [character name removed in case of spoilers]'s son!"
"Oh."
On the way out I got a free sample of mango frescato, which was nice considering I was already leaving and therefore unlikely to suddenly turn around and decide to buy any Costas.

Dream, have you read the new Laurell K. Hamilton?

I just finished Skin Trade it was really good. I'd talk more about it but I don't want to spoil the book for anyone...and I can't seem to remember how to make the spoiler thing.

Trip - Hi! Don't worry we all started at different times. Now is a good of time as any to join the challenge.

@tripleb: Hello!

@Melissa: OH IT'S OUT I COMPLETELY FORGOT! (I hate when it get's close to a books publishing date because of the suspense so I purposely forget so it's like a suprise) ::Runs off to library:: It's checked out!! T_T Also spoiler boxes you put [ hide] and [/ hide ] around the words you want to hide (minus the spaces).

@Jennifer: I read "She's Come Undone" close to when it was published I think. I was pretty young at the time (somewhere between 11-13), so I was not expecting the sex parts either. It was kind of a O_O experience for me, I have to say. By that time I was pretty comfortable with my own sexuality, but reading about someone else's was a totally different story.

I did enjoy the book as a whole though, so I do recommend it to others, but it was disturbing upon first read.

Well, I officially finished by challenge at the beginning of last week, but since I was on vacation, I wasn't able to post that.

Good luck to those on their way!

I have to start to add my new stuff to my old list. I've read about 4-5 books now with in a week. Damn Maximum Ride series being so addictive! XD

I saw the new Anita Blake book at Target today. I really wanted to get it but I didn't have the money to. T_T It sucks cause I'm like 110 on the waiting list at my library, I can't wait that long!

Congrats Alaunt! : D

@Cherry - I started it at the beginning of the school year. But, since my parents had taken my library card a few months ago, my challenge was delayed, else I would have finished a long time ago . . .

@Stormy - Thanks.

@Melissa: It's still out, I think I'm #12 for the hold list, because they only bought one. Even though they have two copies of the last three. T_T
Old characters? Like who (don't really answer)? :bouncing in seat: I want to read it right now!

@shadow: I guess that means school's out. Congrats. xD

I've been out for 2 weeks now. I had to have my room packed and boxed before my contract ended. Now my living room looks like my therapy room vomited all over it. What are your summer plans?

Gah, I've been trying to revise for my exams instead of reading but reading is much more fun.

The X-Men comics I'm reading are hilarious. Storm flies through the window just to announce "Scott, I have the mail". Use the door like everyone else Ororo!

Did she later crash through just to say "OH YEEEEEAH!" and provide everyone with refreshing, sugary drinks?

I've been listening to so many audiobooks lately, I doubt I'll be able to get my page count this year either. :c

And I haven't been in here for so long. Anything interesting happened lately?

*giggles* I love when superheroes do stuff like that, it's the best. :'D

By the way. I've read the first half of the My Immortal Harry Potter fanfiction. I blame you for mentioning it. My brain has died so so much. But it's super funny, so I forgive you a little. :P

Not too many summer plans here. Mostly just getting chores done around my house and visiting family.

Fanfiction, ugh, I have found that too many people discovered "other" uses for a polyjuice potion. XD

Cherry: I've only ever seen that thing on Family Guy and it made no sense at the time. I heard Kurt Cobain used to dye his hair with Kool Aid, so even if you could get it here I wouldn't rush out to try it. XD
She has a postcard from Kitty because somehow you can get postcards from secret islands in the Bermuda Triangle to Professor Xavier's academy without any bother.

Iltu: Ah, my friend found the mention of My Immortal in the ED article about Twilight but was too scared to open it so I did. The first half is very funny but as soon as I started reading the other chapters it seems more and more like an obvious hoax. I want to believe!

+ Oh and after the X-Men pretty much destroy everything they touch they go to stay with some random woman and Dracula attacks them. Of course.
