I'd like to join this. :D

I've already read a bunch of books this year, do they count? (Sorry if this question has been asked before. D: ) Question answered, thanks. :D

~*~*~
Goal: 50 books/manga series (I'm counting each manga series as 1 book)

Currently reading: The Vampire Diaries: The Awakening and The Struggle by L. J. Smith

1 ~ Night World No. 3 by L.J. Smith
2 ~ House of Night: Marked by P.C. and Kristin Cast
3 ~ Fruits Basket by Natsuki Takaya
4 ~ House of Night: Betrayed by P.C. and Kristin Cast
5 ~ House of Night: Chosen by P.C. and Kristin Cast
6 ~ House of Night: Untamed by P.C. and Kristin Cast
7 ~ House of Night: Hunted by P.C. and Kristin Cast
8 ~ Kingdom Keepers: Disney After Dark by Ridley Pearson
9 ~ Kingdom Keepers II: Disney At Dawn by Ridley Pearson
10 ~ House of Night: Tempted by P.C. and Kristin Cast

EDIT: Since I don't come on here very often any more, I'm moving/continuing my list over in my LiveJournal.

@Nickle: It depends on when you want your start date to be. If you want it to start back in January then year the books you read count. Though you could start it now and just end it a year from today. The year is a year from when ever, not the actual calender year (unless you want it to be that).

No problem.
Knerd links the lists on the first page but sometimes she misses a list or two so if you aren't on the first page in about a week or so give her a heads up. Knerd's usually on top of everything though.

For some reason today I suddenly started wanting to read Good Omens despite the fact I could probably recite it.

Darn you Terry and Neil.

I almost picked that up at the store the other day, but I only had enough money for two books and I wanted to finish a series.

I nigh on forced one of my friends to read it and she suddenly turned into a massive Gaiman fan. XD

@ tirethminet: Really? XD I'm not on Squiby very often. But I'm fairly regular on GPX+ (though I'm thinking of quitting the game (not the forum) - I'm loosing interest, plus it takes up a lot of time each day that I could spend on other things).

@ Dream_and_Die: Okies, I'll keep that in mind. ^^

Terry Pratchet and Neil Gaimon, right? (Sorry if I spelled their names wrong! DX) They're great. :D I haven't read much by them (actually, I don't think I've read anything by Neil, but I read "Nightwatch" by Terry.) - I need to read more! I wanna "Stardust;" I thought the movie was awesome! (So, by the standards, the book should be EPIC! XD)

I was such a latecomer to Neil. Who was keeping him from me and how dare they?

I bought my copy of Stardust from a second hand book shop for British and German tourists in Portugal. That must be why it's a Canadian copy. XD

I don't think I'd ever heard of Neil till the Stardust movie was about to come out.

Now I follow him in Twitter. XD

Last.fm player also appreciates Neil and is playing Amanda Palmer.

I'm not a Twitterer myself (or a tw*t as David Cameron put it) but I imagine he'd be fun to follow. ^^

I'm not on Twitter all the time (in fact, the time between my last 2 updates was like, 10 days. XD), but it's fun to check and see what people are doing. :3

Neil's pretty funny. ^^ I'm also following Weird Al, and DANG does he post some funny photos! XD

Mine would just be like "Not doing anything" "@Becca: Your face" "Still not doing anything".

Weird Al' seems like a really nice guy from interviews I've seen with him. I'd most likely be Stephen Fry's 78 millionth follower.

XD Mine aren't very interesting either. I also have a hard time fitting my message into 120 characters (I think that's the limit. It's somewhere around there). XD;

Yeah, he does seem nice. :D He'd be cool to hang out with!

If I had an internet phone I would probably 'tweet' because at least then I'd be more likely to be outside doing something vaguely interesting. More interesting than sitting at a desk anyway!

The other day I was thinking if Douglas Adams was still alive he would be an awesome Twitterer. He was so forward thinking with the internet when others didn't see the potential in it.

Yeah, he would have been interesting to follow. *nods*

i was naked caaaaause.
i passed out fell asleep while i was putting together a new outfit. D:

dream, i could send you one of mine TO BORROW. i have two, one for each author. XD;
the old one is with gaiman and the new one is next to my discworld books.

well, i keep seeing your name on squiby anyway. and yes, gpx is a big time-waster, but i like it. xp
stardust was epic, but there are some things that are severely different from the movie. i still recommend it, though. :3

HA! i haven't been on my twitter in months. MONTHS, I SAY.
it's too much hassle to update and not many people watch me, so i just use my facebook status for the same purpose.

@ tirethminet: Uh, interesting. Where do you keep seeing it? Cuz like I said, I'm not very active. XD I've only ever made a couple of posts! XD;

I really like the concept and I think it's well-run (GPX+), but... I don't know, I'm just loosing interest. ^^; *shrugs* Plus, I've been neglecting my actual Pokemon games for it. XD;

I'm running an RP on the forums (sadly it's kind of stopped dead in its tracks. D: ), so I'll stay on them, but I'm seriously thinking about releasing all my Pokemon to the Shelter. I've found I get too worked up over 1-clickers and the like (which I shouldn't anyways, but I can't stop myself), and I just don't need the added stress. *sighs*

I'll stop going on about that now - this isn't a thread about that, it's supposed to be about books! XD;

So, to get back on topic: Has anyone else read L.J. Smith's "Night World" series? XD; I'm on the last book of it, and I really like it so far. :D

@ KatMagenta & Dream_and_Die: Thanks so much for the encouragement! I've just started Daniel X and should have it finished this week. Back to reading I go!
