Well, that's good. But I'm sure if you ask at their information desk, they'll tell you how/give you a form. =D

Yeah... I was one of the few who didn't want to read it. But then I figured, I don't much care for people who hate on something they've never tried. And more than I dislike sparkly vampires, I loathe hypocrites. So I kind of felt compelled to read the series anyways. xD

I'll read the other two as soon as I retrieve my sister's copies from my friend. But she's in Florida at the moment, so I get a bit of a break. ^^

lmao, wow, florida, looks like you gotta wait for a while XD I kind of read 3/4 of the books before the Twilight forest fire went up, so it didn't affect me as much, I guess it's...cute...kinda....but the best parts are when you see Twilight haters and Twilight lovers fight XD

Nah, she should be back soon. It's just a matter of getting together. We live half an hour apart, and she doesn't have her own vehicle yet. So I have to be motivated enough to leave the house. xD

Yeah, it definitely has a cute storyline, and her concepts of vampires and werewolves are unique. But it's not... 'Refined' is the word I think I'm looking for, I think. It could have used some more ironing out, more 'meat' to it, and a better editor. Seriously, some of the grammatical/spelling errors should not have been present in a published work. And the proof-reader obviously didn't point out that Stephanie's timeline is messed up.

And yes, the arguments are fun to watch. Especially when you get extremely literate people discussing it. Then it gets veeery interesting. xD

@LaVida & Guivre - It is super interesting! It's supposed to be this poet's journal that he kept as the zombie plague reached him... so it starts out with fairly normal haikus about things like mosquitoes and going to work at the office, then as he gets bit it kind of transitions into the life and perspective of a zombie. It was really fun!

Oh, that sounds great. =D

I read two really light books last night, I'm not sure if I should put them on my challenge list. They were the Cake Wrecks blog book, and then Closet Confidential which wasn't very good. ; ; Closet Confidential was a fashion self help book, and I don't really think I needed the help, lol. Any book that recommends goofy hats as essentials sounds like it's hiding a closeted fashion victim, lol. ; ;

Oh, that's funny. I just picked it from the cover, which I never normally do. I just wanted a couple things that were really, really light to bring home yesterday. Luckily Cake Wrecks was pretty clever, and at least very funny.

@LaVida - You could always request it! Like Guivre suggested earlier. Libraries tend to be pretty on top of things like that. It was published in '08, so if they don't have it yet you might want to look into it.

@Guivre - It was~

I'm a big fan of pretty everything on my list... light reading or classic novels. But that's mostly because I stay busy and light reading might be the only way that I can actually come close to the goal. Haha.
And hey, don't knock the goofy hats! They can be fun... but... definitely not essential...

I do like a goofy hat now and then, but I think they're kind of personal. Like a list of essential goofy hats is eh, er ... D=! I don't have one in my wardrobe now, though.

I just picked up three good looking books to read. =D More on those later, lol. One is even fiction. =D

a goofy hat for me would either be for special occasions or holidays...but if you think about it that way....hmmmm..... are they really unessential?

I actually want to try this out.
I haven't been reading a lot of books because of being busy in college.
But instead of 50, I'm going to shoot for 10 right now.

Just finished up with Richard Preston's "The Demon in the Freezer". It's a bit technical, but for those well-versed enough in biology, I would recommend it. Also, his book "The Hot Zone" is incredible. "The Demon.." is about the smallpox virus, and The Hot Zone is about the Ebola and Marburg viruses.

I should seriously do this. I ready about 200-300 books a year. I have an addiction I never go anywhere without a book.

Edit: I read the Hot Zone for a college course last year it is a great book.

I like the Cake Wrecks blog but I'd be more likely to buy the book as a gift for someone than sit down and read it myself. ^^;
