I read a book all in one night last night, from cover to cover, never done that before, but it was just that amazing.
It's called 'A monster calls' by Patrick Ness, I would highly recommend it.

Easty: I love it when books are so good that you can't put them down till you're done! I've done that before! :D

I did that with "Don't Look Back You Might Not Like What you Find". It was so good and so suspenseful I coiksnt put it down.

I think I'm five or six books ahead of schedule for 35 books for the year. Maybe I should just up my challenge to 40 like I did last year...

ETA: And with 40 books for the year, I'm four books ahead of schedule.

ETA2: Can I ask for a roll-call as to who's on GoodReads? I'm thinking of creating a Menewsha group over there..

Just finished the first book on my list. It was amazing. One of the very few books I've ever marked with five out of five stars.

I just found a book that's been moved to the top of my reading list - it's called The Eighty-Dollar Champion: Snowman, the Horse That Inspired a Nation, and I just checked it out of the library today! I have two weeks to read it! ^_^

Looking at how many books I'm reading, and plan to read within this month alone... I may yet make my goal...

I love reading so much, but lately I haven't had that urge to since I've had the computer more and more lately.

Otherwise I would have read...I still haven't read even one chapter in a book yet in the last three months, which is sad >.>

I normally can't, but lately I haven't had a good enough reason to read-read-read lately. I guess the internet is too addicting for me.

Seeing as I wish to read more and want the motivation to do so...

The only thing I must ask is: You said graphic novels right? I'll probably mainly stick to chapter books, but if graphic novels are in here does that fit comics into it as well?

Yay! I'm still reading The Martian, which is still good pretty far but mostly seems to be an exercise on how many things can go wrong, LOL. The other book I'm reading isn't what I thought it would be but it's pretty inspirational. Not usually the kind of book I go for but it's kind of refreshing. Not sure what I will read afterwards, maybe I French book? I have quite a few on my book shelf that I should read and get back to my coworkers...

Haha Guess I need to get off the computer and read during the day. I'll have to keep it limited to time at work and everything since my schedule is random.

Ah I get mine from the library considering the fact I need a time limit of holding books just to read them or they just sit in my room doing nothing. Otherwise I would open that container of nothing but Harlequins I could read and read those, but last I checked I had almost or over a hundred of those alone not counting my other books.

The Martian is an audio book that my fiance downloaded so I'm borrowing that from him, the other book I borrowed from my dad, and the French books I borrowed from my coworkers, LOL! I sometimes get books from the library, sometimes buy them. Usually I only buy books from authors that I know I like. I did just buy a recipe book. I doubt that would really count as part of my reading list though, LOL!

Haha I don't think I'm going to add comics or mangas or graphics to my reading list unless I get desperate. I have this deal in my head where if its not a book with words "like chapter books" then I don't consider it a worthy challenge.

I add the manga I read to my goodreads but I guess this list is a bit different. Then again I don't read manga very often.

I used to read mangas all the time, there are barely any I do not read. Depending on my subjects though. I haven't decided, but I think I'll stick to the Sweep (Spellbound #6) by Cate tiernan to be by first book that or Beautiful dead by Eden Maguire.

I used to read them more as well but they are so expensive and take up so much room to buy. I did read some online for a bit but I don't have as much time on the computer anymore so I don't really do that anymore.

Ah...I have this habit of reading alot of them online (or the library)

I read some books online now a days, but very few. I like to look at a book not the screen. I can read books for hours without having to stop too much. A screen hurts my eyes so I don't stay on for more than twelve hours if that.

That's another good point with the screen. It really hurts my eyes to read on the computer a lot in the evenings since I tend to work on the computer all day long. I ride the subway so I like to read while I'm riding and there's no internet connection right there. That's actually how I got back into reading books--because of the subway.

Hah, I have to have some way of doing things without taking electronics out for myself. I only have a laptop and a small phone to read on, so I like to take books with me since it's quite easier in my case.

Edit: Well I started reading Beautiful Dead.

What I love about my Nook Simple Touch is that it's not like staring at a computer screen, and I don't need internet on it, except to download the books I've bought. Once download is complete, I can turn off wifi and just read.
