I cry over books all the time.
It can be the sappiest thing every and I still cry.
I even cry over happy parts if I really like the characters involved.

I cry over books. XD Like the one I just finished (which, I need to put on my list...), I bawled at the end, and this is my second time reading it.
I really need to stop starting new books before the ones I'm reading are done. >w>

The Lovely Bones made me cry.
I cried when I reread Twilight, but... I don't know that it was the fault of the book so much as my own mood. xD;
I can't think of any other book that's made me cry recently.

XD I'm such an emo freak when it comes to books and movies. With real life, I almost never cry, but you give me a sad movie or book, and I'm sobbing like a baby.

Haha, aw~ I think I almost cried during the live-action Peter Pan. I know my cousin and aunt did, when they invited me to watch it with them.

Oh, I hated that movie! What was with the weird sexual tension between Peter and Wendy?!

I loved the live action Peter Pan, if you're talking about the most recent one. I didn't see sexual tension between them so much as what was in the original story, Wendy growing up into a young women and Peter successfully fighting against becoming a young man (although it was a fight he almost lost because of her). I saw Peter fighting having feelings because that would make him grow up.

I added

67. Heroes vol 1 - multiple authors
68. Swallowing Darkness - Laurell K. Hamilton
69. The Cat Who Turned On and Off - Lilian Jackson Braun

I read the Heroes graphic novel during the summer but I guess I forgot to add it.

I read Laurell's new books in 2 days. @[email protected] I loved it.

The Cat Who series is starting to become a new obsession with me. The books are so good and I like figuring out the mysteries.

DARN. Now I'm so curious as to what made you guys cryyyyy.

That wasn't Edward leaving, of course. I was sad too, but I've never cried over a book before, so maybe I'm just dense to this sort of thing? XD I do get teary-eyed though
I did cry when Edward left but that was not so much him actually leaving, just the scenario and what he said to Bella was like, so eerily similar to what someone I loved very much said to me when they broke up with me.
It made bad memories come back. I had tears running down my face. ._.

The book was actually hard for me to read, because reading what Bella was doing, was like looking through a time warp into a mirror. ><

I cried at another part to, but I won't say which. xD

I do too.
Ones that stand out at me right now are parts in the last three Harry Potter books, a part in Mistral's Kiss (I think) by Laurell K. Hamilton, and a part in Danse Macabre that I recently read where I thought a certain character I like very much was dying. ><
Movies...I do it too. Like in The Notebook and Finding Neverland. Yeah. Bawling. =_=;
I cry over happy parts too though. XD -so sappy-

Another Laurell fan? :P -prepares to pounce-

I still haven't read A Lick of Frost or Swallowing Darkness. My grandma is making me wait for them to come out in paperback before she buys them for me. :gonk: -slow torture-
I think A Lick of Frost is out in paperback now though...

Are the Cat Who books actually about cats? (probably a stupid question)

Kitami - *pounces on you* I love Laurell. ;__; I need to visit Laurell's site because Swallowing Darkness felt like the end and I'm not sure if it was. A Lick of Frost is on paperback. >.> Go read it nooow. I want to talk to someone about it. lololool.

Cherry & Kitami - The Cat Who is about Jim Qwilleran and he's a newspaper writer. He always seems to find himself in curious situations. And on assignment for the newspaper he ends up acquiring two cats (from different people) a long the way. One is Koko(found in book 1) he's a smart cat that seems to be of a higher knowledge because he helps Qwill along on figuring out mysteries. And Yumyum(found in book 2) is the other cat and well...she's a wimp. The cats just help the story along. The main focus of the books is Qwill and he's a very interesting person to read. He has a giant mustache that seems to attract all types of people to him. The mustache seems to make people want to trust Qwill and give out information.

I find the books really amusing and very well written. And the characters the Braun makes up are just priceless. :D

here's wiki's description for the first book The Cat Who Could Read Backwards -

Quote:
In the first book of the series, the reader is introduced to James Mackintosh Qwilleran (Qwill), a former crime reporter turned newsman on The Daily Fluxion. His first assignment is the art beat where he meets a rather eccentric - and not very well-liked - art critic whom he befriends. He also meets the critic's cat, a Siamese named Kao K'o-Kung, Koko for short. In a series of events, the critic is murdered, leaving Qwilleran and Koko to adopt one another and solve the mystery.

I like the characters too well. >.>
Well, at least I'd have the Anita Blake series to read? x] -is still reading Danse Macabre-

Hahaha cool, I'll try to get her to get it for me after I finish Danse Macabre. xD
She hasn't bought anything for me since the beginning of October, so... >.>

Haha, those books sound cool. xD I'm particularly interested in this giant mustache....

Kit - I went her Laurell's blog and it wasn't the last book. *whew*
I'm all caught up on the Anita books I read most of them the few weeks before Blood Noir came out. I like the Anita books. But...all the sex makes me annoyed sometimes...because there isn't any plot except sex. .___. Anita used to go on cool crime scene investigations...and now she doesn't seem to anymore.

Qwill's 'stache has a life of it's own I swear. It leads Qwill around and every time it rustles he knows hes onto something.

o_o You seriously didn't see it? There were all these weird moments when I was like, "Okay...what is going on here? Are they going to just...do it or something?" It was bizarre!
The movie wasn't made any better by my friend complaining about how big Wendy's teeth were.

Twilight is badgood. :D
It's kind of lame, but we love it anyway. Not sure why.

I just ordered "Jennifer Government" by Max Barry and "Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul on Tough Stuff."
I know, laaame. But I read one of those Chicken soup for teens books before, and I did like it. And I've got some heavy books in my to-read pile, so something easy would be nice. And sometimes I just feel like reading a sad story and crying. xD

xD That explains it all to well. Two of my friends (technically they're ex-teachers) read it, one is a Shakespeare teacher and the other a British lit teacher, and they don't know why. They read, complain about it, then go back and reread it. xD

Also, easy books are always fun to read. I just finished the Darkangel trilogy by Meredith Ann Peirce, they were an easy read. I think I finished them all in less then two days. xD It's the fun of not having to think very hard.

Jennifer Government is sitting on my shelf at home right now. I always used to play NationStates online, so I just couldn't resist when I saw the book at a library sale.

When you read it, tell me what you think.

-tension is relieved- xD

Yeah....the constant sex does get a little annoying. >.>
I mean, the sex itself bother me, but I miss when she used to go on her badass killing sprees and crime scene investigations. xD
She's like, exactly my height and people underestimate her, as they do me, so that gave me some kind of bond with her and it was cool to see her kick ass and call names all the time. XD
And now it seems like most of the story is spent in a bed. >.>
Maybe that's why I'm having such a hard time getting through Danse Macabre? They're not having sex the whole time, but basically the whole book up to where I am is issues from them having sex. ><

Hahaha....twitchy mustache.

I keep telling you to read it. xD

I don't know why I like it so much. It really doesn't make any sense. Its...really not that good. Its like freaking addicting though. Like word crack. ;D

Yep. That's what I do.
I read each book in under 48 hours each (except breaking dawn, but that was just to prolong it being over), complain frequently about the lack of real personalities, the cliched characters, the faults, the amateur style, and then I reread the book and watch the trailers five times in a row.
It's not a book. It's a virus.

Oh, really? My boyfriend plays Nationstates. He's apparently pretty well-known on the forums.
I played just the game itself for a while, but I got a little bored of it. It was fun for a bit, though.
