My dashboard icons don't fit onto the dashboard...they're underneath and I can't see the writing. It's not a big problem, but it's rather annoying. Is there anything I can do about this. I've tried the CTRL + Mouse wheel trick, but it makes my post font too small. Is it possible that my user name is too long? And therefore shoving the items out of place?

I'm almost positive it's because your username is too long. Not sure how to fix it though... only thing I can think of is to maybe ask to change your username to something shorter ^^;

Crep's is 100% right, the length of your name pushes the icons off of your dashboard

that only happens to me when i have the browser zoomed in too far. since you said doing the ctrl - thing didn't work, is your monitor set to the highest resolution possible?
even with a long username [my mule's user has 18 characters], there should be a way for the dashboard to display properly.

That doesn't really make sense though. When I log in at home the dashboard fits fine, but here on the computers at work they go vertical like Arsenic was talking about. :?

The problem could simply be your monitor's resolution. If you have a smaller resolution (like 800x600) as opposed to something that allows you to see more (like 1024x768 or even larger), chances are your dashboard icons would be pushed off of the blue bar since there wouldn't be enough space for the text, thereby pushing the icons down.
Galy's suggestion is a good one -- try setting your resolution to the highest one available. :)

If all else fails, you can just go to
View > text size > decrease.
It'll work, but make everything else smaller? O:

I have the same problem. I know in my case i's because i'm using Explorer. Mene is not coded to work correctly with explorer so little things like that happen. It may also cause you problems when trying to change how your avi looks.
