Before I begin my story I'd like to say that this is only the beginning and would like to know if I should continue my story so please say so OK?

Story Start:

Long ago in the sands of Egypt when Pharaohs still ruled there lived a Princess. Her Name was Johara and she was known as the Jewel of Egypt because of her beauty and her paleness. But every beauty has a beast. Johara falls in love with some one you wouldn't expect her to. She falls in love with Rais the King of Thieves. By fate these two happen to meet on Johara's 18th birthday and every thing in Johara's live went upside down. Now lets see, it was the second to last day of Johara's party and she was already bored. "Father its late may I please go to bed," she asked her father,The Pharaoh, who's was siting next to her on his throne in a giant room fulled with music and people. "very well," he said then turned back to the party. As Johara was walking to her room she heard voices, male voices. "When do we 'join' the party," one of the men asks. "Yeah Rais when do we?" Asked another. Rais? Johara thought as she listened to them. Then a man in the corner, hidden by darkness, spoke up. "Well 'join' tomorrow at sun down," he said. The others nodded in agreement and left. Then the man in the shadows said, "Come out girl." Johara gasped and thought how did he know I was here? She got up slowly and began to tip-toe away but she felt a cold piece of steel on her neck. A sword. "Turn around," said the man. Johara turned around and gasped. The man was handsome, black hair, well built but his most distinctive feature was his blue eyes. They had a strange look in them, a look of hatred, confusion but most of all sadness. He must have been hurt really bad in the past, Johara thought as she stared into his eyes. "Hey your the princess aren't you?" the man asked. Johara snapped out of her thoughts and said," maybe I am but who are you?" "I am Rais King of thieves," he said with pride. She gasped again and began to back up but she ended up backing up into a wall. He chuckled and walk closer to her. He pined her to the wall, a smirk plastered to his face. "Let me go," she demanded. "No," he whispered in her ear before kissing her neck. She blushed and said, "please don't d-" she was cut off by Rais lips crushing hers in the most enchanted kiss she has ever had but as soon as it was over Rais was gone. She looked around for him but couldn't find him. So, she went to her room and went to bed. But all she dreamed about was the thief king Rais.

When she woke up she got dressed with the help of some servants. When she was done her father came in and said, "Are you ready to continue your party?" "Yes father," she said. "Good," he started," Lets go have breakfast." Breakfast was quite but when every one got there that party started. It raged on and Johara got many gifts but all day all she could think of was Rais and the kiss he gave her. As soon as sun began to go down a guard came to Johara's father's side and whispered, "Sir thieves have been reported in the area." The Pharaoh went wide eyed. "Father whats wrong?" Johara asked. "Its nothing dear," he said. Just then screams were heard as a band of horse back riders known as The Akrab Thieves and there Leader King of all Thieves..."Rais," Johara whispered but only loud enough for her to hear. "My Pharaoh!" yelled one of the guards," You and the princess must leave this place." "Yes I agree," the Pharaoh said, "Johara lets go." "Yes father," she said but before she could get to the palace and thief came in, grabbed her and put her on his horse. Then he ran off as the other thieves plundered. Johara could see the mans face because it was to dark to see. The thief looked at her then knocked her out.

A few hours later Johara woke up with a bad head ache. She noticed that she wasn't on the horse any more. She looked around and saw thieves...lots of them. She was in the desert not to far from home. She saw a fire in the middle of the circle of thives and horses around the camp. "I see your awake," came a voice from behind her. She turn around and saw a man. "Who are you?" Johara asked. "I'm Ala'," said the man. He look middle aged but strong, with brown shaggy hair and dark brown eyes that said you could trust him. "Here," Ala' said handing Johara some bread and water. "Shukran*," she said taking the food and water. She ate and drank wondering why she was here.

*Shukran:Arabic-meaning Thank you

When Johara was done she looked up at the night sky, her green eyes shined in the moon light and her black hair blew in the wind. "Hey," came a voice from her hind her. She recognized this voice. She turned around and looked. She saw..."Rais?" she asked. "Yes it is me," He said coming out of the shadows. She look at him and got up. Johara walked up to him and slapped him. Hard. "What was that for?!" he yelled/asked rubbing his cheek. "Why did you take me away from my father?" she asked clearly mad at him. Rais stayed silent with his hand on his cheek looking down. "Well?" Johara asked. "He looked at her and sighed, "I took you because I want you. Your so different then other girls." "What do you mean?" Johara asked a bit confused. "Well," he started, "No girl has the strength or courage to slap me and I've met you years ago, as a boy, you were the only one who protected me." Johara gasped hear this, they met as children? Then it all came to her like a ton of bricks. She remembered that time.

It was many years ago but she remembered. She went to a city not to far from her kingdom. She went there because her father had some busyness to do. So, he let her explore the town. When she was walking along the market she saw a black hair boy around her age. He was running from some men with swords. "Come back here you thief!" yelled one of the men. The boy had an apple in his hand. Being the cross little Johara was she followed the men at the boy. She fallowed until they had the boy cornered. They were throwing rocks at him and threating to kill him. Johara got mad and ran in front of the boy. "Stop!" she yelled holding her arms out to protect the boy. "Move girl or we'll kill you too!" yelled one of the men. "Oh no you wont," came a voice. The men looked behind them and they saw Johara's father. "My Pharaoh!" exclaimed one of the men as they all bowed. "We were trying to catch this thief and this young girl got in front of him," said one of the men. "This young girl happens to be my daughter," The Pharaoh said," Johara why don't you and your Friend come with me?" "Yes father," Johara replayed. Then she grabbed the boys hand, "Come on." The boy just looked at her with his blue eyes. She pulled him away from the men. once away from the men the boy made Johara let go and he ran. "Hey wait!" Johara yelled running after him. Her father watch them run then sent a guard to find them. Johara followed the boy to the back streets of the town. When he climb up the building, she climbed up the building. The boy didn't know she was following him. So, he lead her strait to where he lives with the apple in his hand. When the boy finally stopped, he was home. His home was a small room with curtains. Johara thought the place was wonderful because she has as ways lived a life of luxury. When Johara slipped and fell she yelped and the cause the boy to look at her. "What are you doing here?!" he asked/yelled. "I was following you," she answered getting up. "Why?!" He yelled. "Because I was worried and wanted to know why you ran," She replayed looking down. The boy glared at her and answered with out any emotion in his voice, "I ran because that man, The Pharaoh, killed my family." Johara look at him and asked, "Your talking about that War that happened a year ago aren't you?" he nodded. Johara started crying. The boy stared at her wide eyed and asked, "Why are you crying?" "I'm sorry," she cried, "I'm so sorry." She fell to her knees. Just then the guards came in and saw Johara on the floor crying, thinking the boy hurt her. They had the swords out and strike the boy but Johara got in front of him. "Stop!" she demanded. Just then one of the guards remembered some thing, this boy was the son of a tyrant. "My lady this boy is a criminal," The guard said. "Criminal?" she asked looking at the boy. "Yes criminal, he is a son of the tyrant who tried to take over and who started the war," the guard said walking closer to the boy, "Rais the son of Adham the tyrant." "Hey if we bring back to the Pharaoh wouldn't he be executed?" asked the other guard asked. "Yeah he would and maybe we'd get promoted," said the other.
