The stain itself doesn't embarrass me, but what annoys me is everyone fussing over it. I accidentally dropped some taco beef on my light blue sweater the other day which, to me, was no big deal but one of the people I was with at the time started freaking out about how my sweater was ruined. (The thing was practically new. You think I'm going to throw it away because I now have a tiny brown stain on it? That's just crazy. Not to mention stupid when you don't have much money to buy another with.) Anyway, I found out that those little pens that are supposed to remove stains don't work. xD I never really worry about it, unless it's a huge stain. Little stains don't bother me. Why would you start inspecting my clothes to see if there's a stain there, anyway? I bet most people don't even notice, or care.

I don't get stains much, and when I do, it's usually when I'm alone and it's not my favorite shirt or anything ;]

Let me introduce you to my friend... white vinegar.

Mix a solution of vinegar and water and hand wash the stain out. The acidic componants in vinegar will break the stain down and the water will make it mild enough to not damage the fabrics. Make sure it's white vinegar though. Normal vinegar is good for darker materials but the colour will damage your whites further.

I use this regulary to clean up after my bunnies.

But if you think thats bad? I dyed my hair red, washed it out, came back... my purple and white curtains had been dyed too. Came out eventually. Just took an aweful lot of work from me and my sister.

I HATE spilling food or getting stains on shirts/pants. JESUS. It makes you look sloppy and looks so un-satisfying. I was wearing my new Superman shirt when my friend (Moofin) offered me some of her lazania (sp? o.o") at lunch, I tryed to take some put it splattered all over my sleeve and..err..chest-like-area..o__0'
I tryed taking it out with a cleanex but it just spread it around. o.o
And I didn't want to use one of those phoney half-assed "Tide-to-gi" sticks, I believe those things will make my shirt white/bleached or B, not do anything. So I left it. ;__;
Walking around with a stained shirt all day. ;__;
Dreading having to wash it and then wear a shrunken shirt..my new..shrunken shirt. Dx -Sobs-

I despise stains! D< Especially when I am going out, then it is there for the entire period until you go home and throw it into the laundry. Dx

Ketchup and mustard are the worse. T_T

This happens to me all the time...
My friends also laugh at me and call me "spills" or something stupid because i swear almost EVERYDAY i spill some juice or something on myself!
I try not to, i dont know how it keeps on happening.. but every time i look down and there a HUGE stain one me :oops: its so embarrassing.

The worst that ever happened to me was i was talking to my friend and i dropped my pop and it spilt all over the inside of my pants and it look like i peed myself! Then like 5 secounds later my friend that i was talking to was holding a pop and her friend jumped behind her and pushed her, and she spilt her pop all over the front of my shirt! it was horrible and i had to walk around in my gym strip for the rest of the day...

As a rule I am generally a slob. Just today I was eating soup at my desk, being careful not to slop, and the first spoonfull was almost completely dropped onto the front of my shirt.

Lucky for me I was wearing my black hoody and you can't tell at all. Normally I spill something on me, drop something, or miss my mouth entirely. However it seems that those accidents normally only happen at work. At home I'm generally a clean eater, with no mishaps.
