I know if you post and want to post again to add it to the most recent(if nobody's responded to it)

My question is... is there like an 'unwritten' time frame before you're permitted to post a separate post in the same thread (if nobody's responded to the most recent). I'm asking this because yesterday I started a thread in media about a movie marathon and in the original post i mentioned that i'll be adding a review of each movie in the marathon at a later time. A handful of people have responded to the thread and i started posting my reviews (adding them to my most recent post) but with the reviews being added as edits, the additional information doesn't show up as recent adds and alot of people that may be interested in the reviews may overlook them simply because the thread doesn't how any activity.

If this thread is in a slow forum, please do not try to bring up your thread until it is at least on the second page.
