aww thanks :D well i was lost about the gold part but now i see :D the best way to earn gold is by posting no? are there any other ways though? i was from gaia previously and i guess i'm still adapting to the change :)

oh and about my name.. it's a long story really. but it all started with my new email. i wanted a new email cause my old one was getting a lot of spam and all that and i dont really talk to most of the people on my MSN. and at the same time i was going through some phase in which i wanted a change, i wanted to be the same, to conform and all that, and i had gender issues. hence the 'vanilla' bit. but then i thought vanilla was too dull and wanted it to be just that bit more flamboyant so i threw in the 'vain' bit. and there you have it- vain vanilla!

i liked the name so much i used it for my gaia account and for my menewsha too now :D it really is fitting, cause i do so like the scent of vanilla, and the letter V just appeals to me somehow. and i am still vain, though not overly so. oh but i am over that conformist stage so woot :D

You can earn gold from games too (minus descender, there was a problem with the gold earning so it has been turned off), but there is also a possibility to lose gold in some, so be careful.

xD Not at all, you're most welcome <3 And as for how to get gold, there are three main ways really...

One, you get gold by posting alot. However, spamming and double-posting is obviously not allowed. Long and literate conversations are muchly appreciated and are, in fact, very much encouraged xD

Two, you offer services for said gold. That being, you can draw art for people (by setting up an art shop and offering to do commissions, offering art to those that have been up requests in the Art Requests subforum of the Art Shops forum, or setting up an art auction so people can bid) or you can do graphics (such as banners, buttons, and so forth) for people as well.

And last but not least, you can buy and sell items for gold. Although exchanging here is actually very much frowned upon because well, it's not very nice to buy an item for cheap but then immediately turn around and sell for higher now, is it? xD'

One other way though, would be to play the Fishing game (found via the Games button on top of the page). However, you need alot of experience before you can start making any profit back xD
