It's such a great story.
I just wished there were more than four volume form the series.
I was so mad. T_T. Vampier Knight, another series from the same mangaka, is good too but I prefer Meru Peri more. Such an intriguging story.

I've read the complete series of this manga in Mangafox. I've liked it much. i think it's much better than Vampire Knight which is written by the same mangaka. it has the same intense love and obstacles to love than strengthens but it lacks and fortunately, i add, the angst....

I've always loved it, I rememeber finding the first book at my school libary ( when I was in 6th grade, so a LONG time ago ) and after reading the first one I bought the second one. I was going to get the third one but I found out that you could read manga online so I just read the rest of the series on OneManga. I think my favorite character would have to be Aram's older brother. I forgot what his name was though. XD

You guys should try reading the author's other manga called WANTED.

Yeah, MeruPuri is one of my favorite shojo series.

@Demoncat: Yeah, I really love WANTED too. I kinda wish that it was longer since I really like all the pirates. ^^

Its cute but it disturbed me that he was so young
even if he becomes older and HOT!

this manga was one of the first ones i read, so i just kind of remember the gist of it...
i also thought it was a little odd there being such a huge age gap between the two main characters but i have read a lot more manga since reading 'meru puri' and i find that it is a somewhat common theme... like 'hana to akuma' is a pretty popular manga and it's basically the same thing except it's the girl who is younger and sometimes turns into an older girl
