This is just a compiled list of all the things you have or may have said to someone who won't stop complaining and it's starting to annoy you. I use these all the time and they've come in handy. If you see one you've used put an asterisk next to it, and if you don't see one you used listed please add to the list.

Here are some of the ones I've used:

1. Sounds like a personal problem.
2. Grow up and get over it.
3. Let's act our age and not our GPA.
4. And you're telling me this why?
5. Cry me a river, build a bridge and get over it.
6. See this? It's the worlds smallest violin.
7. Okay I see what you mean I just really don't care.
8. I'm sorry was I supposed to be listening.
9. Hmm, lack of interest has lead me to ignorance.
10. That's one small step for you and one giant leap for annoyance of man kind.

I work at a grocery store. My line's "I don't think I deserved that," when they're bitching about something that isn't my fault.

I know what you mean. Good luck! Oh, and the "didn't deserve that" comment may not work well. Careful if you use it around your boss. Best in a sincere voice.

I work at a restaurant, and one of the pantry chefs was throwing a tantrum and she turned on me and started complaining about my abbreviations (CHX being shorthand for chicken, CXL or 86 being shorthand for "cancel" or "do not make", all of which are common abbreviations in EVERY restaurant I've worked at) and I snapped back "If I were as much as jackass as you, I'd at least try and make a living taking people down the Grand Canyon"...
And I don't think she got it, at least not until after I had left the kitchen, but most of the kitchen burst out laughing.

There was also a nasty guest once who literally cornered me behind the host stand (trapped me between the wall, the stand, and the computer desk and TOWERED over me threateningly) and berated me in front of his humiliated wife for something arbitrary the concierge, Nancy, did wrong. I grabbed my nametag, shoved it into his yelling face, and said "Do you see what this says? It doesn't say "CONCIERGE", or "MANAGER", it says "HOSTESS". That means that I'm underqualified to TAKE THIS SHIT." and shoved under his arm and past him, turning to the next guests in line and smiling just as sweetly as I could. Then I made him stand there and complain loudly to anyone in earshot while I seated the next two parties, effectively putting him in a table right next to the kitchen door. x3

You don't piss off your hostess, folks!

"and what?"
"They'll grow back"
"And I care why?"
"Are you talking to me?"
"Are you done with your tantrum yet?"

Things of that nature ^^

Gah, I can't do that. I sit and listen, all the while thinking of evil things to do or say to them but I just sit there all nicely and take it, because I'm sort of a push over. >.>
I'm working on it though.

I haven't really said sentances that annoy people, but I've got a few words I use to annoy the heck outta people.
1. Why?
2. Cool
x] and I use
"And?" quite a lot when I'm in an argument.

Some of the things I say are:
And I care why?
And you're telling me this why?
and one mean one that I actually sometimes do say is...
Go die! xP

Most of the time I just take what they say and insert great sarcasm into it to piss them off and make them shut up.

I say:

-"Get the fuck out."

Or just flip them off.

If I'm in a nicer mood, I'd say "Well, aren't you as lovely as a pig."

I just tell people that they're so annoying that the sound of their voice is going to give me ear cancer. Then I leave.

Normally when someone's annoying me (IRL) I just resort to using as few words as possible in my responses. Usually just "Okay".

If it's outside of a conversation and they're doing whatever just to be annoying, I just ignore them... I'm not going to give them the attention they crave (that usually irks them).

In IM's, PM's and whatnot online, I just use the simple "okay" until I get tired of that and just change my status to either "busy' or "offline".

I'm usually not the type of person that easily gets annoyed. So alot of times they know they're annoying me before it stars irritating me and most of the time they stop.

"I stopped listening like two hours ago."

Of course, if they actually have been talking that long, it doesn't really work. And if you're lucky, they'll say "I've only been talking for a few minutes" and you can say "wow, it seemed like longer." But if you're not lucky, you'll probably get beat up.

I don't really do that anymore. I mean, I used to, but then I realized what it can feel like on the receiving side. It just ruins your day when you think one of your friends was listening to you when they couldn't care less. So, when I find myself getting bored of the conversation, I try to listen a little more, and when I find myself getting annoyed, I try to see their point of view. When none of that works, I just politely nod. ^^; Even though that's still kind of mean...
