Yes, this is how it is. I usually count for uncommons both event and contribution items. Actally, if you come to think of it, the worst part in gettin those items is actually finding a seller, not many people want to get rid of them, unfortunately.

@Aonith: Yeah, I agree, that is the problem. The Valentine's Day items are so scarce; that's why I've resorted to the auctions, trying to get my Hairpin. D:

There's no way I'm a likely contender for it though. Everyone else that's going for it has so much gold -- I don't stand a chance if they outbid me by at least. . . oh, 5,000 like last time. T___T

Just popping in to say that I have to go to practice, so I won't be on till later tonight. Don't have too much fun without me xD

That's why I'm going to go ahead and start pursuing everything before they get astronomically high -- like, I don't know 60,000 gold for a hairpin? >_> There was a mass inflation last year where they were up at 120,000 gold at some point, if I remember correctly. It's come back down thanks to the auctions.

Heh. I only resorted to loans a few times. Ironically, the Auction ended right after I bid my last piece of gold, and I ended up winning without going into debt.
