White: I haven't heard of them not picking an avatar with a glitch. . . I mean, it isn't your fault really; it's all on the coding. I don't think that should be reasoning against whether you get the Admin's Pick or not, but then again, I'm not entirely certain.
I think your look is fantastic, though. I'd stay with it, if I were you. The colors work perfectly together. ^^ It also makes me wish us female avatars could have those pretty lily flowers. T_T
Sakura: Have fun baking or sleeping, Sakura! I assume you're baking for the Bake a Cake Contest here, ne?

That's what I heard... I'm not so sure about it anymore. XD; But even with the glitch, I do like it...
It settles quite nicely atop the head well. Prior to the red and green look it used to be green/blue/white. I didn't have the headdress yet but I had plans of getting it... Now I have, I'm happy with it. >w<;
I am staying with it. I'm sticking to it for as long as I can until I grow bored of it. How everything came to be was just a cause of happy accidental match ups and I simply had to stick with it.
Besides, you rarely see green/red a.ka. Christmas colors being word. And yes the Harem Headdress is nice isn't it?
; ~ ; Like the Atlantis coat, you rarely see people wear it too. So I thought---why not?! *buys and tries to mix and match about*

I know, I haven't seen it on any male avatars at all; so much to the point that when I saw yours, I had to go see what it was called, seriously. I wish the female avatars had stuff like that, but I guess we all have unique items. They all can't be unisex. *Shrug*
Yeah, I know what you're saying about the red and green being worn together and it being a good pull off. Pearl has just changed her avatar recently, and it's like. . . red, green, white, and black. Looks REALLY really good, too. Who knew that festive stuff outside the holidays would make for a good avatar scheme? :o

Hee hee hee... Gaia loves me.
It wants you to give me more art.
XDDD!!! -is stabbed-
You could have asked me. >w< I wouldn't mind telling you what they were!!! There are some female commons that are pretty. They're mostly dress base though. Females have more items generally on Menewsha actually. I find it harder/challenging to be a male here so I decided to go for it. I like being challenged. >=D
And yup. I saw Pearl's look too. I was chatting with her earlier. I'm contemplating art for her.
You wouldn't believe me if I told you that red only become part of the Christmas/Yule tradition because of Coca Cola... Prior to that it was just green.
MNCS = powerful. O_______o;

Yep, I do totally believe you on that, White. Santa was actually a man with a green hat and coat, then Coca-Cola came into the picture and made it red for their company, and ever since then, it's stuck.
I do my research. >w<;
I sometimes wish I could quest for all the male items too, as it's easy to switch genders -- you just press a button, and voila! XD; However, some of the ones I would need -- yeah, NEED -- like the Welcome Shirt, they're just super hard to get. I'm already going for the Female one as well.
Maybe someday I'll be able to be transsexual. XD;

I'm questing for the male items first though.
Then after that... UGH. Females. More stuff there. Dx
The gowns...the dresses, skirts and tops. TOO MANY.
Another reason why I opted to be male first. They seriously have less items. >>;;
Thank goodness, I don't like the Welcome stuff. XDDD; Or I would seriously spazz out. I'm looking at the prices and I'm all O________o;
Aww shucks! XDDD -winks at Sakura-

@Sakura: That's exactly what I'm doing; the Giving Back Auctions, that is. I recently just won the Queen's Crown from the latest auction, but I was going for the Valentine's Hairpin. That's next on my list. I can't afford to spend anymore; I need to get my gold up to par if I want to even be considered a contender in the auction. XD; That place is a war zone, let me tell ya. @[email protected];
@White: I'm just a big "it was rare and a once and a lifetime opportunity, so you have to get it" type person. XD That's why I'm so psyched about these cake slices. A few years down the road, people are gonna be asking for them, and I'll say -- ehhh, I'm like one out of 5,000 that got em. I'm SPECIAL! XD;
I'm just a total dork, right? XD

Congrats, Windy.
I would of been in the auction, but I have a King's Crown so I could not enter.
If I were you, I would of gone after the King's Crown because its expensive then the Queen's.
@ whitebeast:
Maybe next time will be at the Valentine's Event.

Yup. :3 I'm also like that.
Since I was so used to the Gaia atmosphere where I barely cared/felt that event items mattered, I tend to forget that Menewsha is still very young and has a very long way to go actually. So looking at it that way really does make me go...Wow.
I'm part of Mene history? XD;
He he he.
I'm glad they allowed mules to also have their own cake hats though~!!! ^_____^;
I'm done questing seriously ---as in the sort of quests where I felt like crying if I failed/lost, so I'm just questing casually. No pains no gains I guess... -Mou~!!! Malice Mizer reference!!!- but I don't care anymore since I've secured my THE items already (If you're curious, my holy grail items are the Oriental Fan and Pudao of Time).
So... Whenever I look at my gold count, I can't help but go "Damn... If I wasn't sporadically getting this and that or buying gifts for people I could have had enough for the VDay Pin." But then I don't think I would have liked it any other way... >w<
And nope, you're not a dork.

@Sakura: Thanks! And there were so many more people bidding for that King's Crown instead of the Queen's, it was so hectic. I had an actual chance at the Queen's Crown as my gold count was higher than any of the other people bidding -- some people bidding on the King's Crown had at least 9,000 gold on them -- I was no match. XD:
I'm looking forward to getting up enough gold for that Valentine's Hairpin though -- the competition for that one is intense and fierce.

@ Windy:
You are a DORK!! Kidding!!
But believe me, I am much of a dork and I admit to that.
I rather be a dork, then a drug addict.
Oh, the Kings Crown was bidding up to 2250g. It was not at 9K, which is impossible in the giving back.

@Sakura: Nonono, I mean that the people that were bidding on the King's Crown were capable of bidding up to 9,000 gold because that's how much they had on them. Meaning, if I had at least 8,850 gold, they could STILL outbid me, so I was in no way a contender -- especially when I had just 5,000 something gold on me at the time. e_e;
And I am such a total dork! I'm proud of it, too! XD Agreed, though. Dork = way better than druggie. At least as a dork you know what's going on. XD;
@White: Nah, I totally am a dork, regardless of what people say. XD I've dubbed myself a dork long ago, and it's totally stuck. >w<

...People. =______=;
Never be intimidated by gold count. When you're in an auction it's not by how much gold you have -thought it counts- it's how FAST you are.
If you make it even if you just barely enough and all that, then you win.
Having high gold counts right then and there sometimes feels like a scare tactic to let people off.
And right on, Sakura. It's impossible to reach 9000 when you're on the Giving Back. All of your bid increases shouldn't exceed 1000 at all.
Unless you're counting on the possibility of not winning so if ever you find a seller off the auctions, you can get one right away. That's not a bad idea either.
Always have a back up plan I say!
And...Sakura you said you were sleeping. >____>;

Gah. That wasn't this week's auction. The one I was participating in just ended on Friday evening. See?
King's Crown
* Karla - 4050 gold
Queen Crown
* Windy Withdrawal – 3100 gold
Check Zweres's latest post on the Giving Back Auction -- last page.
Also, you can bid over 1,000 gold in the auctions AS LONG AS it's outbidding someone else and not increasing your own bid. I had bid 2,600 on the Valentine's Hairpin, then Lizzle came out of nowhere and bid 7,500 gold. You're able to do that, just as long as you're not increasing your own bid by over 1,000.
I've had to vigorously read these rules. . . I got banned once, I wasn't going to let THAT happen again. >_>
@Yumeh: O___O KITTY. *Huggles* How're you doingggg? Meow?

I haven't been banned from the auctions yet. xD I read the rules three times over in fear of getting in trouble with the staff in my newbie days. It all worked out though. I won my first three or so Auctions, I think.
