I've never been hacked or scammed on Mene and it would be SO easy!

But no, I've lent items out to people I've never spoken to before, lent over 3k out to people, run a charity that helps newbies and although I've had begging PMs no one has ever scammed or hacked.

I haven't been hacked on Menewsha yet, but I'm still new and have crappy items anyways D:
I was also never hacked on Gaia yet, but I have been hacked twice on Neopets xD
I have encountered tons of scamming attempts on Gaia through PMs, but I have yet to be scammed once here on Menewsha.
Once I started buying and selling a lot on the marketplace I began receiving tons of scamming PMs, so if Menewsha ever becomes more economy-focused scammers will appear.

lol On my old account some one did send me a pm asking for my email and password.

but i just ignored it xDD.

Actually, Zurie left because she was editing and stealing dolls and other pixels off Tre Le Coco. She almost became a site developer here because of her work, but she got dobbed in because Coco was pissed off =3
And she didn't get hacked btw either, she never returned because she was ashamed

Nah....Everybody's too nice! ^.^ I've been scammed more on Neopets than I ever was on Menewsha. And Neopets SUCKS! :roll:

Nope. I haven't heard of anybody being scammed or hacked either here. It's probably, like others mentioned before, because Mene is such a small and family-like community ^^

I did get a billion gold from someone when she hacked the site's gold system though. xDD

It's never happened to me on Gaia either, though I've heard of it a lot. My friends got scammed by people too. Two of them had passwords that were WAY TOO EASY and another gave her password out. It was kinda stupid of her, but when you've just been told that you were banned, I guess the shock just makes you forget some stuff sometimes...I dunno

I have received tons of PMs on Gaia about how I was 'banned' but it is easy to see that they are fake.

It is nice to know that there haven't been any reported hacking incidents here on Menewsha. It would be extremely tough to get away with hacking someone though, there is usually only around 200 people online anyways.

Yeah I had that happen too. That was the journal hacking thing for me though. That was pretty crazy. But other than mene itself getting hacked I dont think anyone has.

Really, so Zurie staged the hacking to cover up her real reason for leaving?! :o That is low. I remember the doll in her signature; I just assumed she had bought it from Tre Le Coco on Gaia or something.

I have never been scammed or hacked on Menewsha or even had anyone attempt it.

Having said that, as yet no-one's account has been hacked on here, we have a clean record so far. I suppose there's a chance that it could happen one day. But with the new software comes better site security, so let's hope not, yeah?

As the site grows it will, of course, become more attractive to scammers. So we'll have to be vigilant about fake log in pages and the like.

But if people are sensible and vigilant they should remain safe, it should only be things like keyloggers and so on that pose a threat.

Thankfully, no. I've never had any problems at all on Menewsha. The staff works hard to keep us safe and sound, and all the work pays off. I think that anyone who even attempts to scam is dealt with right away. It's a pretty good system.

Lenna has never lost an account to anything to a scammer or hacker...though she almost got her old AOL email scammed...luckily Lenna changed the pw really fast. It wouldn't have mattered much though...10-year old Lenna didn't have much going on with her email anyway. n__n;

Anyhow, I can't vouch for any hackings, but I have seen my fair share of scamming in the ways of art theft and impersonation. And it's pretty sick. -_-; I've also once or twice received the emails or PMs attempting to coax me into giving up items or vital information. Too bad for them I'm a b*tch and never replied. ;D
