"Oh Nisa..."He wisspred and moved to sit down with to
get the wire off her hands letting them fall behind her
softly before picking her back up. "I am so sorry I let
this happen to you... I said I would be there..." He
said and sighed softly stroking her cheek.He felt so bad
but all he could do now was take her home and heal her.

He moved from the house now slowly as not to hurt the
other. He ran as fast as he could to get her to his
apartment. He felt the sun starting to rise as he headed
back to his home. He got there just as the sun rose and
broke over the other buildings. He moved them in to
a room where the sun was blocked and the lamps where
covered by red cloths. His room was large and looked
like a haruim if some one didn't know better. It was
done all up in black and red.

He went and set Nisa down on the bed that was set n the floor. Is was soft as any bed could be. "Nisa I
...yout cloths...would you like new ones I can bring
you some of mine?" He asked knowing to ask first not
knowing if she could do it herself, but knew the blood must be sticking to her now.

Naio had rushed herself back to the house not smelling
the two out side of the house. Even if she did she
would leave them be knowing if they had not gone in
they wouldn't of messed wit Cain. She moved back in to
the town her feet hurting from all the running but
to help Jiro she would do so.

She moved back in to the open window hoping to see
him resting but found him missing at first"Jiro..
Jiro?" She asked and sighed smiling lightly seeing
him resting on the wall. She sighed and went to the
bath room getting the meds then came back to him
setting herself on the ground. Naio sighed knowing
she couldn't get to the wounds like this, she moved
between his legs sitting on her own. Thinking he
was asleep she started to remove his shirt...

Nisa still had not spoken a single word, she gave a small sigh of relief when she felt the comfort of the bed she was laid down on. She slowly opened her golden eyes when she heard Cain's voice. She acknowledged his question and tried to sit up, the muscles in her wrists had no strength to them and she fell back down onto the bed. She cringed from the sharp pain she felt and lifted her wrists up in front of her face, her eyes went wide. The wire rope had done more damage then she thought, though it had not cut deep enough to show her bone. She gently set her hands back down at her sides and looked at Cain with a defeated look on her face. "If.. you do bring some of your's..." Her throat had not healed fully yet which made her voice raspy and hard to understand. "...I'll need... help..."

Jiro had been resting when Naio returned and didn't wake until a few moments after she had started to remove his shirt. He looked down at her and smiled softly "...So you came back, after all..." He mumbled lifting his arm with a struggle and placing it around her, pulling her close to him. He hugged her as best he could and rested his head gently upon hers. "I'm glad"

He wahtched her wanting to help but he didn't want
her to feel weak ad let her sit up only to help
brace the fall and lay her down gentlely back down.
He sighed seeing the cuts and knew it would take
some time to heal them fully. He brushed her hair
back saying nothing not wanting to miss something
if she said it. When she did he nodded "Ok...I'll
help..." He said in a sweet tone letting her know
he would not take advantage of her like this.

He moved to the other room to get the ointment and
clothing she would need for the day to come. He
returned shortly with bandages and cloth's for her
hands. He came also with a sleep shirt and long
paints. He sat down and took her wrist lightly
in his. "This might sting a little bit..." He
woarned her then took the meds and lightly aplyed
them to her gently rubbing them where it was needed.
He hen wrapped them both up as best he knew how.

He then hit a dilemma coming to the clothing he held.
"Nisa... may I.. change you...?" He asked not wishing
to make her feel unconvertible. Yes he was over 300
but he still thats why he refused to take a advantage
of a woman.

Nisa's eyes went wide feeling the other's hand wrap
around her waist. She felt herself blush softly her
head pressed to his unclothed chest and shoulder.
But as he spoke she seemed to melt in his arms.
She used one hand to help him but not enough to harm
him. "Of corse you sily boy...why would I leave you
like this?"She asked and let her hand softly touch the
hole in his shoulder."Jiro why... did you.. save me?"

Nisa bit down hard and cringed when Cain started to apply the ointment to her open wounds. Tears swelled in her eyes; It stung badly, just as he had forewarned her and even the slightest bit of pressure made everything hurt worse. She relaxed again once he finished wrapping her wrists with the cloth he brought from the other room. She sighed, glad that the pain had gone down. She would only feel the pain from her wrists if she tired to flex them, for now she was going to just let them rest beside her. She looked at Cain, blushing a little when she heard what he said. She had not thought about asking for help would really mean, but she wasn't in any shape to be able to change herself. Her gaze shifted away from Cain momentarily "...Y..yes... please" She mumbled slowly looking back at him.

Jiro smiled he was really happy that Naio had come back like she said she would. He had half expected her to leave and not come back, considering everything that happened since they first met. He flinched when Naio touched his shoulder. It would take some time before those wounds were completely healed, regardless of the fact that most vampires healed faster then normal humans. He lifted his hand and placed it on top of her head, gently pushing her head back enough so that he could kiss her forehead. "That's a silly question Naio.." He laughed softly "I saved you because I care about you and that guy was hurting you"

Kano waited a while longer just to be safe, he knelt down and picked up Suzu from under the bush and held her close to him once more. "Seems safe now.." He said and walked her back to the house they stayed in. As soon as he entered the house, he knew Cain had already been here and left with Nisa. They would have to try again later but right now there was no way that Suzu would be up for another round. He walked her back to the master bedroom and laid her down on the bed, then removed her shoes and set them down on the floor next to the bed. He lifted her a little and pulled the blankets out from under her and then covered her up. He smiled faintly before turning away from the bed and walking over to the dresser he picked up a small unlabeled bottle with a spray head and looked at it.

"This should do it..." He mumbled taking the bottle in his hand. He noticed the trap door in the floor was still open, he walked over to it and shut it then covered it back up with the rug. He gave a small sigh knowing Suzu would be pissed that the girl got away, but by the smell of things she had lost a lot of blood. So if he wanted he could probably find the girl easily enough, and she wouldn't be able to fight back. He stood up from trap door once he finished hiding it again and looked at the bottle in his hand. "I Need to get rid of his scent..." He muttered as he started to walk around the house spraying the contents of the bottle. It was another thing Suzu had made way back, it was eliminating the vampire scent from the house with ease. Kano knew when Suzu woke she wouldn't he happy smelling Cain in this house. Once he finished spraying the house he walked back into the master bedroom and set the bottle on the dresser just before walking over to the only arm chair in the bedroom and sitting down. He would sit there and watch over Suzu until she awoke.

Cain smiled lightly and moved her to look back at him.
He kissed her lips softly and gently, he moved and took
the shirt that was by the bed. He moved his hands to un do the others shirt trying his best not to look to
closely. He moved it off of her the blood seeming to
have dried on to her skin, as he pulled it off it pulled
from her skin with a light tearing sound.

He sighed and moved as fast as he could with out hurting
her. His hands moved over her to replace the shirt with
a band t-shirt called Atreyu and black sleep paints.
He looked her over and smiled. "I think thats ok..."
He said and took the wet cloth he had and wiped off
the blood from her arms and lower legs so it would not
make her unconfturbule. After he wass done he laid next to her on hand playing with her hair to clam her nerves.


Naio's smile stayed soft as he kissed her forehead,
she knew that he did care but like they said she was
scared that things might happen once more and she was
not ready to let him hurt her. "Thank you...Jiro..."
She said and looked in to his eyes wanting to kiss him
but held back. "Let me...help your wounds ok?" She asked. She had a few cuts and brue's but mostly on
her back from the fall. She went to turn and found
it hard and arched her back hissing almost at the pain.

Nisa's body shivered from the cold of the wet cloth when Cain washed the blood from her skin. She was quite comfortable once he finished taking care of her, she gave a sigh of relief as she looked over at Cain who was now laying beside her; Playing with her hair. She smiled softly, slightly embarrassed that he had to change her clothes for her. She coughed a few times before speaking. "...I'm sorry you had to do that..." She mumbled still sounding quite a bit raspy. Her voice was slowly returning to normal but her throat was just way too sore.

Jiro shook his head seeing that she too wasn't feeling all that well. He reached out and took her hand and gently pulled her closer to him again. He placed one of his hands lightly on her back and rubbed it softly. "You shouldn't move too much right now Naio" He sighed. "Looks like that guy threw you into the ground a little harder then you thought" He added wishing she wasn't in pain too. "Guess you finally relaxed enough to feel the pain" He leaned forward and kissed the top of her head. Jiro was already starting to feel a little better. Not much, but at least his muscles were trying to re attach themselves. Once they finished and were full attached he would regain more movement of his arms. But right now they were not done, they were roping across the hole in his arm and trying to connect. Within an hour or two they would be completely connected and then the skin would start to regenerate. He knew he wasn't too bad off at this point so he wasn't worried about the wounds.

Cain smiled and blushed a little laughing "No its fine I
just didn't want you to think i was a perv..." He said
and sat up lightly looking down at her. He was just glad
hes was ok and that she would be safe for now. He leaned over her one arm on her side the other by her head. He
leaned down and nuzzled her neck softly "Let me...
protect you Nisa..." He said wanting to keep her safe
wanting this to never happen again.

Naio blushed feeling him pull her closer, she knew
he needed to be heal and wanted to do so. "Please..
Jiro I...can do this I just want you healthy"
She said and touched just the spot below his wound
seeing the work at hand. She sighed and smiled lightly
knowing if she left it alone he would be fine. She
snuggled in closer to hi feeling like the cat she had
always acted like now.

Nisa laughed softly at his comment "That thought never even crossed my mind" She paused her voice starting to return to normal now. "But now that you mention it... you did change my clothes..." She smiled "That could make you a pervert" She lifted her hand when Cain nuzzled her neck, she gently pressed her palm to the side of his face. She bit down her lip when she bent her wrist to touch him, the pain was clearly still there. She swallowed hard after tossing the question around a few times in her head. She wasn't sure she was ready for this, but after a day like today she felt she could almost say yes to him. "...Cain..."

Jiro smiled warmly "I'm touched that you're so concerned for my well being, but rest assured I will be fine before you know it" He lifted his hand and rested it on top of her head for a moment. "You on the other hand, we should see how badly your hurt" He stated moving the hand he placed on top of her head slowly down to her back.

Cain sighed out "I am not a perv..."He said brushing her
hair back softly kissing her neck gently. "Please do not
say yes if you do not want it..." He said taking her hand so she did not have to flex so much to reach him.
He wanted to yet he did not want to force her but
hearing her soft ple of his name made him go crazy.


Naio shook after he got half way down her back a sharp
peace of concrete in her back. It was not to large but
there where little shards in her back. "Jiro..." She
whimpered softly. She hadn't felt them before this...

Nisa smiled softly, quite a bit relaxed once Cain took her hand. She was also very happy to hear that he didn't want to make her do anything she wasn't ready for. She knew full well that if he really wanted to, he could have already marked her; So it was pleasant knowing he cared about her enough to give her an option. She had to think about it for a few moments; She didn't want to have what happened earlier that night to happen again but she was half afraid that it could happen anyway. At the same time, she wanted to believe that Cain would always be there for her when she needed him; He had shown up to save her once, so he would do it again. Nisa looked up at him with a warm smile having finally made up her mind on the subject "...I want you to protect me..."

Jiro stopped his hand once he felt a shard of concrete in her back; Seeing her shake once he touched it. He slowly moved his hand away from her back and sighed softly. "We need to get that out of your back, along with any other pieces..." He stated looking down at her. "Do you want my help removing them or do you think you can manage on your own?" He asked politely. He knew that in order to remove the shards in her back easily and without causing more damage she would have to remove her shirt. He made sure to ask what she wanted first because he was a gentleman after all he didn't want to make her uncomfortable. "...If we had to I'm sure we could find another girl to remove them for you..."

00--- Meanwhile ---00

Kano still sat watching over Suzu. She had not moved much since he placed her in the bed, she had been knocked unconscious by Jiro in their previous encounter. He leaned back in the armchair and gave a heavy sigh, he waited this whole waiting game; Who knew when Suzu was going to come to? On the other hand he was kind of happy that she wasn't awake and yelling at him. Sometimes he wished that her older sister would've just sent him by himself for these missions. But Suzu wanted to do this too and asked that Kano be by her side at all times. He wasn't sure why out of all the other worthy vampire escorts, she chose him. He shut his eyes and rested in the chair; Hopefully she would wake up soon.

Suzu finally began to move a little. She started to breath heavier as she started to come to. She slowly opened bight blue eyes and stared at the pale white ceiling. Her head hurt, and she was sore all over but it was nothing she couldn't handle. She blinked a few times, lifting her hand up to her forehead and applying pressure. "..." She moved her hands under her and pushed herself up into a seated position on the bed, she looked over at Kano seeing him sitting comfortably in the chair. She growled softly knowing well enough that they had failed in their mission. All she could remember from earlier was that really handsome boy Jiro and how he changed so abruptly. That boy really intrigued her; She wanted him, at any cost."Kano" She muttered glaring over at him. "Did that girl get away?" She had a hunch that she had, but was going to make sure one way or the other.

Kano reluctantly opened his eyes when he heard Suzu speak. The last thing he wanted to do was answer her question, he knew she would blame it on him; But what else could he do? "Yes, she's gone" He paused. "Cain and Naio helped her escape"

Suzu glared at Kano hearing him so nonchalantly answering the question; She was even more angered to hear that Cain and Naio helped the girl get away. She watched him look away from her and by the time he had gone to look at her again she was sitting on her knee's in his lap about two inches away from his nose. She blinked slowly and stared at him her eyes full of anger. Her claws extended and she thrust her hand up and around his throat without losing eye contact. She applied enough pressure to make it difficult for him to breath. "Next time... You will stop them from taking her... Or suffer the consequences" She muttered pulling her hand away, her claws leaving minor cuts on his neck. She removed herself from his lap and sat back down on the bed staring out the window across from the bed. "Another thing... I want that boy of Naio's... I don't care how you get him, just get him"

00--- Meanwhile ---00

Kano coughed hard once Suzu released his neck and almost immediatly placed a hand to his own neck feeling the cuts. He couldn't seem to please anyone today, he sighed heavily and looked over at Suzu. "The girl will not get away next time, I promise" He then looked away from her and stared at the floor. "...You mean Jiro? You want him of all the male Vampires you could have?"

Suzu's eyes shot over to Kano as soon as he finished his sentence. "I want Jiro, only him! You will get him for me and you'll do it without talking back to me!" She spat angerily. She must have sounded like a child who wanted to get their way no matter what. "Now get out of my room Kano" She slowly shifted her glance back to the window.

Kano stood up from the armchair "Yes, of course" He stated turning away from her and leaving her room. He shut the door behind him and walked over to the kitchen table and leaned against one of the chairs. He sighed upset with himself for being bossed around by this brat and now he was going to have to get that boy for her. That was the last thing he wanted to do, but if he disobeyed the order then Suzu would surely have him killed. He pulled a chair out from under the table and had a seat. He would have to think about how to do this; Not only did he have to get that girl back but now he had to get Jiro too. Which meant he needed a way to get rid of Cain and Naio. He shook his head and stared blankly at the wood-grain in the table.

Cain heard her and smiled moving to brace himself over
her his hands on either side of her head. He looked over
her and smiled knowing she was ready to make this choice.
She wanted to make her feel safe and loved, something
he had not see either parent give her. He wanted to
give the other a peace of his heart that he only given
one other person in his life time. He eand in and slowly
kissed the soft skin a few times before he niped her
skin. He took a deep breath. "Brace yourself..." he said
the bit down hard in to her pale skin. He did not suck
any blood but let the blood that came from her wound
run over his lips....

Naio sighed "Not with the way your hands are now I can
wait please let me just heal you .."She said and blushed
and moved to turn around and gather the things she
would need to his arms. Naio turned back to look at
him "I need you to heal right now so you can be there
for every one and so your not in so much pain..."

As he kissed her neck, then nipped at the skin shivers were sent down her spine. She shut her eyes and took a deep breath and before she knew it Cain had already bitten down hard, piercing her skin. She couldn't help but moan softly when his fangs broke the skin, she kept her eyes shut hard. Her hands grasped tightly to the blanket that was on the bed, her fingers clenched the fabric; She ignored the pain she felt in her wrists. Her legs stretched out and her toes curled inside of her mix-matched socks. Then she bit down on her lip harder then she expected and a small amount of her blood slid down her chin.

Jiro stared at Naio "I told you I'll be fine, within the next couple hours my body will have fully healed itself. Well, except for this disfiguring scar on my cheek..." He glanced over at one of the holes in his shoulder, the muscle tissue as already connected across his arm and was merely tightening itself. He had regained most of the movement in his arms already and he wasn't about to let Naio do anything more for him. He didn't see it fair since she was in pain too and her own body wouldn't start healing until the shards were removed. "We really need to get the cement out of your back Naio" He said in a more stern voice.

Cain heard he moue siding shivers up his spine. He wanted
to taste more of her but he topped himself and just licked
her wound off of any aksess blood that was over it.
He looked down at her hand kissed her lips softly.
She was his and only his now no one would ever take her
again. He would make sure of that.Cain just smiled at her.
"Are you all right?" he asked softly slowly in her ear
his hands held on tightly to her waist , he would not
let her go not after what had happned that day.

Naio llooked at his wounds and knew he would be fine
she had yet to make the conection that he was a full
blood vampire and did not heal the same way she did.
She healed much like a human might where as he was all
vampire. She turned her back to him."F-f-fine but no
laughing.."She said an turned her back to him she was
so tiny even now that she did not need to where a bra.
Dhe cringed slightly when lifting the back of her shirt off to show off her back.

Nisa started to relax as soon as he removed his fangs from her neck, she sighed softly just after taking a deep breath. Her body nearly went limp, her hands let go of the blanket and her legs were less tense and her toes uncurled. She slowly opened her eyes when she heard his voice; It took a few moments for her eyes to adjust, she had been holding them shut too tight. "Mmmm..." She paused and looked over at him and smiled softly "...I..I'm ..fine..." She mumbled just before shutting her eyes again.

"Why in the world would I laugh at you Naio?" He asked softly seeing that she had finally caved and lifted up the back of her shirt. He didn't really understand why she had asked him not to laugh; He was almost certain it was because she still looked like a small girl who had not yet hit puberty. But he didn't see her like that, she was a lot older then her body gave her credit for and that's all he thought about the subject. He gently placed one of his hands on the back of her shoulder and pushed her forward only a little so he could better see the shards in her back. He was surprised at how many of them there were, she had not exhibited enough pain to explain the shear amount of them. Without asking he reached for one on her lower back and pulled it out without telling her. He figured if she didn't know he was going to remove it, she wouldn't think about the pain too much.

Cain brushed her hair back and moved to lay down pulling
him close to himself. He could tell she was tired and wanted
To make it easyer for her if she wanted to rest.
He smiled down at he and kissed her lips softyly.
"Your blood is better then it tate's..." He said
and moved to comb her hair lovingly huming a old
tune he had learned from a old friend.

Naio sat there letting him place her as he wanted.
"...The way... I look.." She said moving her shirt
so it covered her front. She hissed when he had
pulled out the first chunk. "I... am sorry but it
hurt..." She said relaxing again knowing this would
hurt. "Keep going its ok..."

Nisa smiled when she felt Cain stroking her hair, it was strangely very relaxing. She snuggled close to him, gently lifting her hand to rest it on his chest. She opened her eyes and looked at him, "The taste of my blood is more appealing to you, then it is to me..." She mumbled softly.

Jiro continued to pull out different shards while they talked, every shard he pulled from a different area instead of starting on one side of her back to the other' In hopes the pain would be disbursed. "...It doesn't bother me how you look, I know your much older" He laughed softly "You worry too much about your outward appearance" Jiro didn't stop pulling out the shards until he was down to the very last one, even though she clearly in pain. "Almost done..." He paused and yanked out the very last one "...There" He said as he looked over at the pile of small shards on the floor next to him.

Cain nodded laughing a little "That is best if you wanted
your own blood i think we might have a problem..."
He said and hugged her closer. He thought about tonight
and how things where and what had happened. He sighed
knowing he would have to tell the other why he had and
why he was so frightened to be around her blood for to
long. "do you think you will be ready for our date?"
He asked nuzzling his face in her hair.

She blushed"I know that... its just hard when you
see girls that are almove eight times younger then
you have a body thats...well... not this.." She said
cringing at each tugg of his hand from her back. Yet
once the last came out her back healed leaing mover scares. Now that the open gash's where closed you could
see older longer ones there along with bite markes on
her lower back neck.

Nisa smiled holding back a chuckle at his comment and then shut her eyes just as her hand took hold of the fabric in his shirt. She involentarily held on tightly to his shirt and leaned in closer to him; She clung to him like he was a giant stuffed animal. She had become extremely quiet and had yet to answer Cain's question. Her breathing had slowed down and became a little more regular; Yet she wasn't making a sound. She would probably look like she was going to stop breathing all together at any moment, but she was really just sleeping; Deeply.

Jiro put both of his hands on her shoulders and smiled as he quickly pulled her back to him. Resting her back to his chest, he dropped his arms down to her sides and then rested his head on her shoulder. "Naio... would you stop already?" He paused and took a deep breath. "Your perfect the way you are... I don't need anything more then that" He then wrapped his arms around her waist and nuzzled the side of her neck softly.

Cain waited for her to
respond but hearing her heart slow and her breathing
fallow he knew she had fellen asleep. He sighed happily
and hugged her closer to him. He soon fallowed her in to
sleep but not before thanking God that she was still
with him...

She let him shaking lightly not feeling all that comfortable with him so close but she relaxed the
best she could. She hadn't let some one touch her
in so long for a reason. Yet he made her feel warm,
loved. She sighed blushing lightly biting her lip her
eyes closed her heart rate rsising from having ate not
to long ago. "Jiro why me...?"

Jiro lifted his head and loosened his grip around her, then sighed lightly. "I should be asking you that question Naio" He paused leaning back looking at some of the scars on her back. "You're the one who said that I was yours" He laughed a little, removing his hands from her body and setting them down by his sides.

She turned and looked up at him "Thats just it I...
have no idea..." She thought to herself and sighed
shaking lightly then looked down. "I want to protect
you... from them... you don't know what they will do
if they drag you to that hell hole of a coven. what
happens there... "She shook remmbring the line of
people she had been placed in front of...thier food
she was only 13 she died that day..."

Jiro looked at her with a sympathetic smile, he knew she was thinking about what had happened to her. He placed his hand on her shoulder trying to reassure her. "Don't worry so much about me Naio" He paused. "I don't need to be protected from them, but I'm touched; Truly" He really saw no need to be worried about those two, Kano and Suzu. He had taken care of them pretty well by himself and didn't think they'd return any time soon. Not to mention he didn't think they'd ever come for him, Nisa, now she was a different story.

00--- The Next Morning ---00

Nisa had a rough sleep, every time she moved she'd bend her wrist and wake up due to a burst of pain; Then she'd cuddle back next to Cain and go back to sleep. The sun had finally started to rise again, it was now Friday and yet you couldn't tell by looking around the bed room. Cain kept it dark so it always seemed like night. Nisa had rolled over once more, hitting her wrists again and woke up. She managed to sit up through the pain and set her hands down in front of her. Looking down at her bandaged wrists only made the memory of the other night all too real. Her bandages were now covered in blood, probably from re-opening the cuts every time she moved in her sleep. She sighed heavily as her gaze started to shift up and she looked around the room. She had nearly forgotten that she wasn't in her own room, she looked next to her on the bed and saw Cain and smiled softly before shifting her glance back to her hands.

Cain heard the other one moving about and opned one of
his eyes and smiled at her letting them both close once
more. "Good morning you..."He said and sat up now looking at her wrist's his smile running off his face.
"Come here Nisa..."He said and sat up and showed her
to come sit by him." I'll re-do your wraps..."He said
then moved to extend his hand.

Nisa looked up when she heard his voice and smiled as she glanced over at him once he sat up. "Good morning to you, too" She nodded when he said he would re-do the wraps around her wrists and scooted over next to him. She put her hands down in front of her, laying them in her lap. She stared at them for a few moments before she started to slowly unwrap one of them herself. The bandages were so soaked in now dried blood that they were sticking together and making it very difficult for her to remove them.
