I'm a pretty good public speaker. See I've always known everyone hates me. All through school I was bullied and so I took up choir and drama as something to do instead of going to play at play time. Drama and Choir no one bullied me as there was always a teacher there so I loved both and when it came time to preform I knew that the audience hated me anyway so what did it matter?Me being on a stage wasn't going to alter their opinions so I was never scared of getting up there.

Standing by the teachers desk and talking? No fear. They couldn't hurt me there. It was the one place in the whole school I couldn't be hurt. Speaking/preforming. So I loved it. And so when I went to college and was suddenly popular the whole thing stayed. On stage, at the front of the class I'm god. No one can hurt me, they've all got to pay attention.

Then in my last year of college I took Archaeology and my teacher turned to me and asked me to teach a lesson for him. As my religion was one we were studying. I'm pretty sure most people would have died and said no, but for me I didn't mind one bit. I actually enjoyed it. And because of my public speaking in class a lot of the students came to me for help on the religious sections of the courses.

I love Public speaking. So it shouldn't really come as much of a suprise that my job now calls for me to publicly speak. As a CCTV Survielance Opperative, my job demands me to speak down a microphone at anyone on site during my shift. And I don't mind it.

Hmm. I'm a singer, released CDs, done radio (hosted it too)

and...from there.. i've been on TV, on stage..backstage...every position in that career.

It's hard to pull off sometimes, but you get over the nervous factor. I'd rather have a crowd in front of me, than a camera. Personally, it's easier that way.

When on stage/performing, I feel a connection with the crowd, and when I speak and I know their feeling.

So, performing is a love, and I'd hope I am considerably decent.

For those who haven't heard who I am, i'm Cory Legendre. - http://corylegendre.com or http://coryal.com would both tell you about my radio shows, singing career and other endeavors.

I'm glad to throw my little tidbits and insight out there, as performing is a love, a collection of heart and soul to me.

I sing and I have sung since I was little. And now I'm in college and my major is voice. So getting on stage in front of people is something I do all the time. I never get nervous until about the minute before and then when I get on stage and start singing I'm fine again. That took a while to get too - when I was younger I was never nervous. When I became a teenager from middle school to ninth grade I was nervous a lot. And from tenth grade on I was less and less nervous every year.

I'm not a realy good public speaker anymore. I always
know what I want to say, and when the time is there I
easily forget alot of facts that I wanted to say >_<
I always think I start to shake a bit and talk very weird.

I used to dance public when I was a little bit younger,
14 or something. I was on a dancing school and we did
public shows ^^
I liked it, but like 5 years later I had to do it again
on school. The idea that i did it before gave me a good
feeling about it, else I would have a big pile of stagefright
like my friends had. But I helped them.
I can't say it realy went well cause it's been a few years ago,
but on the video it looks quite good ^^;
