Have you ever thought of what would happen if the world ran out of gasoline. I mean, how would we get to work or school or anywhere. We could walk but how would that be economical for us to wake up several hours early to get where we were going. Not to mention how tired we'd be when we got there. If the world runs out of gas I'd venture a guess that were pretty much screwed (for lack of a better word). Anyways, I shall let you continue your browsing and what-not. Just thought I'd ramble off for a while as I'm want to do.

It wouldn't be too horrible for those who don't live too far from their local towns or if they have one of those cars that can run on water. I mean if it is needed badly enough, people will just start buying Horses, bikes, scooters, etc....I mean they did it in the olden days why couldn't they manage to do it now?

Well scientists predict that the world's supply of oil will be almost gone in 50 years so everyone has to think of alternative ways to get around.
The most logical thing people think of is just to use renewable energy resources to power houses, businesses, and factories. Then we can just use electric cars =D

No matter what happens I doubt we would be screwed. Things will just change... a lot xD
I can't imagine going back to using horses though. I would probably live as close to the main city as possible so I can just use the subway to get around.
I am too lazy for my own good!

That's what boats are for.
I mean it might take a bit longer,
but if it really is important
then it is worth waiting for.
Of course people can also do
Business by video chat, could
they not? I mean you do not have
to be there in person. You just
have to be able to negotiate face
to face.

Taco Bell has this campaign after Katrina and such that gave free gas for a whole summer if you won; the motto said: "Taco Bell gives you gas!"

Uh... guess they did not think that through huh? > >

LMAO!! That is the best slogan ever xDxD
I assume that it was intended to sound that way.

Anyways contests that give you free gas are getting more and more popular now that gas costs an arm and a leg. I know that my parents now use all the points they earn from using Air Miles to buy gas vouchers xP

I am definitely not looking forward to paying for gas when I have to commute.

There's already alternatives to using gasoline, so I'm sure we'll be fine in the future. There's some smart people out there. ;D

Although I do like the idea of going back to horses... xD But really, I wish we had subway systems like Japan. It'd be so much easier and I wouldn't have to drive. <3

I almost wish we would. Then I wouldn't have to drive or go to school or work. There's no way I would ride a bike 25 miles each way to do those things.

Maybe if we nearly ran out of gas, they would stop people from driving and send a bus system from my town to where I work and go to school. That would work for me.

The world is already looking to alternate fuel sources as oil is becoming scarcer. If worse comes to worse, we will run out of gasoline and have to use fuel such as electricity, ethanol, solar energy, hydrogen, etc. that haven't been fully tested out and marketed. However, at the rate technology develops these days, I'm sure we'll have more environmentally-friendly resources and switch over before oil runs out.

Well, I guess bikes would become really popular again and people would just have to use electric vehicles or something of that effect. Or resort to methane. XD
In my case I'd be screwed work-wise since the nearest working place for me is about 4-5 miles away. If work places were closer to me I wouldn't mind but in my current situation I'm not in the best of places.

Gas isn’t the only thing that can run cars so people would be fine. There are already alternative sources for fuel that cars run on such as electricity and vegetable oil. That would be great if there were cars that ran on water.

We would get by the way they did before we used gas and cars, feet, horses, and other animals. They are working on fuel alternatives (supposedly). I dont' think it would be too devastating at all, we would probably be better off. I remember my parents paying $.75 a gallon for gas when I was a kid and now we pay anywhere from $2.60 to $3.50 a gallon! It sure as heck wouldn't kill our pockets.

Well, I guess it would be time to invent things that would run on solar power (then again, it would be a problem when the sun wouldn't shine) or electrical or something...

But then again, walking is always an option though all of us are too lazy to do so and it would be hard to walk to the supermarket and then buy something that would have to go into 30 bags or more. How would we walk home with that? O_O Guess we could always just steal a few carts xD

It might happen, to lose gas. I mean, there's every less and less petroleum in the world.... I wouldn't be too much wondering!
