In my opinion, hair doesn't count as an item, because unlike last cycle, it's not a challenge to work with hairstyles. You're welcome to use the hair and color they have, but it's not necessary.

As far as using all the colors, no you don't need to, as this is a challenge of improving an avatar using a certain number of their items.

We can add colors right? Like I added a brown after taking out the items I thought didn't work.

Though the ice cream cone does have a brown in it... xD

I've only seen the two episodes of the season, but their personalities seem really similar. They're both more reserved for the most part.
Ugh, thank god Wes went home for that dress...though I thought the other girl's crappy circly pattern was just as hideous.
Funnily enough, I didn't really like the winner's dress [as a cocktail at least] and the other runner ups. I thought the first two to walk down the runway were my favorites. I thought even the "girlicious" one wasn't that bad. I think the first two were...terri's and Keith's. Keith's was my favorite. I think some of the others had potential, but lacked creativity or showed poor taste.
The one with the peacock feathers...ew. I hated that fringe, but it looked like the model chose potential good fabrics and the feathers would have been interesting to incorporate but taking the beautiful feathers apart and sticking them as fringe at the bottom made her look like a tacky lampshade. The dress other than that wasn't too bad. I liked the design. I think it would have been more interesting to use the feathers as part of the collar.
That orange and grey one...what can I say? Not cocktail in the least though it didn't make a horrible dress. At least her model bought enough fabric.
Team ugly brown fabric sucked. But the guy with the somewhat reasonable cocktail dress with the hole in the middle...bored me. I've seen hundreds of dresses like that. Impress me please.
The blue and champagne one, made by the girl who won the last challenge, actually had good colors to work with, and I liked the skirt, but the top part threw me for a loop and I really wanted to punch her after she destroyed half the dress.
Out of the top three, my favorite was Kenley, the champagne one with the high collar and the popping black belt. I loved that dress...except for the collar. But maybe that's me because I don't like large collars. I'm sure though that if she did a different collar, it probably would have come off as too boring though so I cut her slack.
Fishtail dress. Ew. Darts...outside? I've seen people wear shirts that look inside out but ew. I think she may have been able to pull it off if she didn't have the fins.
Leather face's champagne dress wasn't too bad, though I didn't find it too cocktail-y. I was impressed she put her own spin on it though and it came out decent. Usually it's a battle of putting some of themselves into a garment still with taking the client's interests in mind.
Did I miss anyone? Oh yeah, Wes' new boyfriend. Boring. Dull. I won't remember it by next episode and I nearly forgot it now...along with him. He's just too forgetable...though I wouldn't have said as much last episode with his cup dress...that had potential, I loved the top...but the rest sucked major arse.

Purple really wasn't part of my color scheme I just didn't change the original color of the hair. I may change it for the final entry since we are allowed to.

I like the last one, but maybe red hair.
