so i tryed and this is what i came up with but im not happy with it. mostly because the skirt and shirt are so commonly use together. so it dosent feel original at all.

Keep working on it. And don't be afraid to use a few different shades of blue. You've got Aqua, Snowy, Dark Blue, and royal blue. :]
So yes, legwarmers count for blue.

This is a lot harder than I thought it would be. It's very difficult to suppress my urge to add color. ;o;

The mantle is fine since it's mostly white, but the pants are mostly black/dark grey. And the belt is mostly gold.

Yeah, those were the three items I was worried about most as they had very little white in them.
I'll probably continue working with it throughout the week, and hopefully some inspiration will hit me. :]
I'm trying to keep the accent colors too a minimum, but hopefully I'll find a way to use none at all.
I'm worried it will end up looking like a giant white blob if I do that, though. xDD
Also, would you count and outfit having no accent colors higher than an avatar that has a few, but ties them into the outfit without taking away from their assigned color?

Don't worry. There's a whole week so it's no rush.
As far as scoring goes, I'll only be 1/5 of the grade but I will remind the judges that no matter how pleasing the avatar may be to the eye, that they need to definitely base some of their grading on how well they kept to the theme.
Don't worry if it comes out a bit blobish. This challenge is opening up perspective to a different way of making avatars. Most of us usually would never do something with one color, so it's basically just me assessing everyone's talent and how well they can step out of their comfort zone. :]

Aqua is a color that falls between blue and green. O: Atleast, I think it does. xD
So shouldn't whoever is assigned the color green be allowed to use aqua as well, if blue is allowed to use it?

Mmkays, well we might have to exclude Aqua.
I just considered it with the blues because it shows up with more of a blue tint on my monitor.
