Lana smiled. She was excited to see the rest of the campus. Despite her usual tendency toward the familiar she was enjoying experiencing some new things.

Blake was interested in seeing the rest of the campus. Looking over at his sister he smiled a bit, she seemed to be enjoying herself. He had worried that the sudden adjustment might be hard for her but it seemed that she was doing fine.

Rex opened the door to let the others through. When Lana passed he smiled sweetly.

Karia walked through the door after Blake and locked the door behind her. "I have the room key so we'll get back in alright."

Lana quickly slipped on her shoes before following Rex out the door. She stood off to the side so that the others could pass through behind her. As she did she shot a quick glance at Rex and caught him smiling at her.

Blake passed through the doorway a moment after his sister and continued a few steps so as not to block the doorway for Karia. Putting his hands in his pockets he stood and waited for Karia so that they could begin their tour.

"Where shall we go?" Karia asked them. She looked at Rem for a second. She knew where Rex would want to go, the place was somewhere he loved loved dearly, and he was always there.

"Let's go to the pool area. It's on the roof!" Rex said. It was so obvious he was going to say that.

Lana stayed silent as Karia asked where they should go until Rex mentioned the pool. Lana blushed slightly, she enjoyed swimming but was always a bit shy to be seen in her swimsuit.

Blake waited patiently as their two hosts decided where they should head off to first. He honestly didn't really care where they went, he was just interested in getting to see more of the campus before classes began.

Karia rolled her eyes. "Rex lives in the pool. He's always there." She whispered in Lana's ear. "He'll probably drag you there once in a while."

Rex smiled. "Okay, let's go!" He led the way, but he made sure he was close to Lana. "Don't stray away, got it. You don't want to get lost."

Lana blushed even more at the thought of Rex dragging her off to the pool. She was just about to say something to Karia when Rex interrupted, expressing his concern about her getting lost. "Okay..." she said rather meekly, trying to decide which would be scarier, going swimming with Rex or getting lost.

Blake's thoughts drifted as they headed towards the pool. After a moment he caught himself in his brooding and sighed. Looking up he noticed that he had been lagging behind slightly and took a few long strides to catch up with Lana, Karia, and Rex without saying anything.

Karia stopped for a second. "Blake... why you falling behind?" She took his hand, making sure he wouldn't get lost.

Rex smiled at Lana, "Wanna hang at the pool sometime?" he asked her cheerfully.

Lana jumped slightly as Rex interrupted her musings. Looking at his smiling face she couldn't help but reply, "Oh, okay." She still wasn't sure if she wanted Rex to see her in her bathing suit but she only agreed to hang at the pool, not necessarily go swimming.

Blake was similarly taken by surprise when Karia noticed him lagging and grabbed his hand. "Oh sorry..." he managed to reply as a slight tingling sensation ran down his spine at her touch.

Rex smiled, "Great, sometime we should set up a time." So Karia wouldn't here him he whispered, "Maybe sometime after hours."


Karia grinned, "Well, you shall not fall behind any longer. I won't let you."

((Yeah... I thought you abandoned it... ^///^))

"Is that allowed?" Lana whispered back nervously. She had only just begun here and didn't want to make a mark on her clean record too soon; not to mention what people would think if they caught her sneaking around, with a boy nonetheless...

"Oh... Okay." Blake replied stupidly as his face began to get warm. He suddenly became aware that Karia was still holding his hand and he felt himself begin to sweat nervously.

"Well... no, but whenever I go up I never get caught. The teachers never keep watch..." Rex said. "To be honest, tons of people take advantage of that fact..."


"Here we are, the lovely pool!" Karia said, letting go of Blakes hand. She knelt down by the side of the pool and stuck her hand in. "Ah, I love the feeling of cool water on my skin."

((Ah, okay.))

"Oh..." Lana said, still a bit concerned as she straightened away from Rex. She would just have to cross that bridge when it came... Fortunately they arrived at the pool which successfully tore Lana's mind from the problem for the moment. The pool was stunning... Lana had never seen anything like it.

Their arrival at the pool was bittersweet for Blake. He was astounded by the sight of the large pool before them but also disappointed as Karia released his hand. He watched as she knelt down and dipped her hand into the water before approaching the water himself.

Rex walked near the pool. He was considering jumping in and showing off to Lana that he was an amazing swimmer. He decided not to in case Karia hurt him for doing so.

Karia looked over to Rex, who looked like he was thinking something stupid, then without meaning to fell in the water. "Oh shoot," she said after she rose to the surface. I hope Blake won't think bad of me now.

Lana silently approached the pool. Looking down into the water, she was amazed by how deep the water was. She wasn't the strongest of swimmers though so she was quite pleased when she noticed that there was a shallower end as well.

One moment Blake was looking down at the moment, studying the slight ripples on the surface, and the next thing he knew, a loud splash emanated from just in front of him. Looking up, Blake noticed a drenched looking Karia treading the surface of the water and knelt down to offer her a hand out of the pool.

"It's huge," Rex pointed out. "All the people in the school can fit comfortably in this pool."


Karia took Blakes hand, "I'm sorry Blake... you must think I'm foolish."

((Sorry... I haven't been feeling all too inspired lately...))

"Wow..." Lana said quietly, completely in awe, "No wonder you like spending time here..." Lana replied with a smile.

Carefully grasping Kari's wet hand, he helped her out of the pool, "Maybe a bit clumsy..." he said smiling, "But definitely not foolish."

((Don't worry, I haven't been inspired much either))


"Yeah, it is amazing," Rex told her. "Especially if you get it all to yourself."


Karia blushed, "Okay... I know I am clumsy... Mr. Wiltedhead keeps telling me."

((Um... Yeah... Sorries! It probably seems like I've fallen off the face of the planet or something... I've been really busy with stuff lately so I haven't really been on Mene lately... T_T))

"I'm sure it is..." Lana said, imagining the experience, still smiling lightly.

Releasing Karia's hand once she was on steady ground again, Blake simply shrugged in response.

((And sorry that post sucked... Guess I'm not much in the mood for posting at the moment... T_T))

"Yeah... but you wouldn't know until you tried it..." Rex told her


"Thanks..." Karia said.

((Bleh... I think we need to liven this up more... Maybe start including the "darker" aspect of the school?))

Lana just shrugged, unsure of what to say. She was still struggling with both the idea of visiting the pool after hours and the idea of Rex possibly seeing her in her bathing attire. The only male that had ever witnessed the sight besides her uncle was of course her brother.

"No problem!" Blake replied, smiling. Looking at Karia dripping by the side of the pool, Blake wondered what they could do about it. Turning to look around the pool area, Blake spotted a bin and went to investigate it for a moment. Realizing that it contained clean and folded towels, Blake picked out two of them and brought them over for Karia to dry off with.

"Thanks," Karia said, taking the towel and drying herself off.


"So... you up for it," Rex asked Lana. "Just tell me..."

((Sorry... And yeah... I've been through a lot this summer as well. I find it really hard to constantly reply to these one liners though... It doesn't really give me much to go off of and I'm getting kind of bored.))
